Their food is usually alright and the location is good. However, the other day I had to leave because there was a $ 30 credit card limit for American Express cards($ 10 minimum for all other credit cards) and that’s all I had on me. Your sandwiches aren’t THAT good bro. Never seen such a high credit card limit in my life. #amexforlife

As soon as I Walked into the restaurant for the first time, I felt like I was walking into a movie set. The caffe is so nice and hip. The food is fresh, and the coffee is out of this world! Open mic night on Fridays is also a plus!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the food here due to the complete lack of customer service. My husband and I walked in and waited to be seated. As we stood there, a server walked right past us without acknowledging our presence… no «Hi, welcome» or «I’ll be with you in a moment» or «Let me get someone to seat you». The place was only about half full. There were several servers standing behind the counter(not serving) who also ignored us. We waited a little longer then turned and walked out. We ended up eating at another establishment down the road who, in the same amount of time we spent standing in this place, were able to greet us, seat us, serve us coffee, and take our order. I won’t bother giving this place a second chance. I’m a little suspicious of all the 5-star reviews this place gets.

Gave it two stars because you only get one star if you give me food poisoning. Ehh is the best I can come up with overpriced under portioned blahhh coffee is okay at best go a couple doors down for a cup of good coffee sorry to not buy into the café craze but I can’t help pay off the note for their expansion won’t be back.

My daughter days this place is so great she doesn’t want to «share it with the boys»! I had a delicious sandwich and fresh salad and she loved her blt and tortilla chips. I have gotten delicious coffee a few times now and feel confident that I’ll always get a great cup!

Basing on the coffee/dessert, and not the food. Top quality and excellent coffee, baked goods, and ice cream. Had the Vanilla Latte and it was literally the best I’ve had anywhere. Not too sweet, didnt taste artificial and was perfect. Brownie, muffin, and shake were also of top quality and excellent. Great location and very friendly and efficient service from young college type kids.

Ok, I’m a big fan of this place. Totally recommend it. I came for the coffee and was so impressed with all the flavored coffees available. The flavors rotate and there is always something new to try. I am in love with the gingerbread flavored coffee. Not to worry there was regular non flavored available as well. All well brewed. Superior to big chains where the coffee gets brewed to death and burns your stomach up later. Love the décor. Lots of seating. Bright and colorful. And a final note of advice don’t skip the peanut butter cookie. It’s too good to be true.

Love Warwick food scene! The wraps are fantastic and the coffee is great. I love the moe and tom. It’s a mozzarella tomato and basil wrap that’s addictive. Coffee drinks are well priced and yummy.

Tourist trap. Glorified cafeteria food. I cracked a tooth on a bone fragment in the Supreme Nachos. At that point I stopped eating my prison-grade hamburger. Perhaps you could order yours boneless? Is that extra? Looks like an above average selection of pastries and coffee inside and the breakfast items looked wonderful and bone free, which is the only reason I’m pushing two stars, but I would steer clear of the rest. Unless, of course, you’re feeling nostalgic and entertain fond dreams of 6th grade lunchlady fare. Or your spouse is a dentist. Disappointed fart noise. End review.

A friend recommended Caffe a la Mode as a great place for lunch in Warwick and he was spot on. They have a varied menu but the focus was on healthy selections. I went around 11:30am and it was busy yet there was no pressure as we placed orders. We mentioned we were in somewhat of a hurry and the Chicken Wraps we ordered were delivered quickly and were delicious. The waiters checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this place and I plan on visiting it often.

After giving it another shot, I’ll update this review to four stars, as the experience is much improved since the first time. Every now and then it’s a little tough to find a server, but we’ve been back several times in the last few months and have had good coffee/espresso drinks as well as strong breakfast offerings. Sometimes it’s just an off day… I’ve certainly had my share of those. This has now become a semi-regular stop on the weekends.

I’ve been to this café countless times throughout the years, and every time I go, I’m more and more impressed. The food has gotten significantly better, and the coffee is always great. The staff is very friendly, and the service is surprisingly quick. If you’re looking to visit Warwick this is a must stop, you can eat outside; right in the hub of the town. Simply a great location, great food for cheap prices, and incredible service.

In town for work and got recommended to check this place out. The staff was super friendly and shared with me what some of their better items were on the menu and when I did order the food came out super quick. I had the bzk way wrap and it was amazing, the mozzarella was really fresh. Great place to eat.

They have great wraps and breakfast sandwiches. They also make great coffee and frozen drinks. In the summer, my wife and I love getting the Almond Joy milkshake. The only thing keeping this place from getting 4 or more stars is the service. The service is spotty. Sometimes they’re great and very helpful, but other times they lack urgency and care. Other than that it’s a nice place to grab a quick meal for breakfast or lunch.

Best milk shake I ever had. Service was fast enough but being a café/coffee shop and kinda ice cream place had a huge menu to shift though causing a little back up. They have a min for credit card holders so be sure you bring cash for just a cup of coffee.

How I heard of this place: Café a la Mode was first recommended to us by our new friend, Tracy, who, at Thanksgiving dinner, suggested we stop by to sample their Graham Cracker Coffee. Type of cuisine: Gourmet coffees, desserts, premium ice cream, breakfast and brunch. Ambiance: Walking up to another quaint brick building, we were surprised and happy to see the banner hung over the staircase leading up to the house porch, reading«Caffe ala Mode is excited to welcome its newest addition Ava Elizabeth Torres.» Flower baskets hang from either side of the staircase pillars leading up to the large, extended porch. Wrought iron chairs and tables sit at the foot of the stairs and on the porch for the beautiful north-east summer and sunny, crisp fall days. We enter the green door with 12 glass panes on the left(the matching one on the right obstructed by outdoor seating), while peering through the orange-colored lighting in the café, through the white, framed windows at either side. The most simple part of the interior space is the rustic hardwood floors, every other inch of space being used for something. The deep yellow walls are covered with chalkboard after chalkboard of menus written in colored chalk. The dark brown counter extends from the front of the store to the back, towards the flower-curtained doorway to the kitchen, all along which can be found ten to twelve carafs of drip coffee in a variety of flavors, including: Mocha Lava, Pumpkin Spice, Graham Cracker, and Cinnamon Cappuccino. Baskets of cups and lids as well as fresh baked muffins ranging from Blueberry to French Vanilla Chip, Double Chocolate, Banana Nut, Apple Streussel, Orange Cranberry, Cinnamon Swirl, Apple Bran, Banana Chocolate Chip, Berry Blast, Red Velvet, Corn Bread, and Pumpkin, to Rocky Road Brownies and Blondies. Just when you thought you had seen it all, directly beyond the register is the array of ice cream flavors, such as: Coconut, Coffee, Vanilla, Rocky Road, Chocolate, Green Mint Chip, Strawberry, Moosetracks, and Cotton Candy. To the right of the entryway, patrons may enjoy the cozy space of wooden tables and chairs, as well as one-sided booth seating against the half-wall between the ordering area and the café, with friends or in solitude under the dim lighting. More chalkboards, this time in framed squares, each with six panels(resembling the windows) noting food and dessert options. What I ordered: I chose one scoop of the Caribou Caramel ice cream($ 2.31) with mini chocolate covered caramel cups and ooey, gooey caramel swirl. My husband wanted to try the Graham Cracker Coffee, as did I, so he selected a 12-ounce cup($ 1.52) and a chocolate chip cookie($ 1.70) for dunking. Our host, finding that Caffe A La Mode has the best Chai Tea Lattes he has ever had, selected a 12-ounce($ 2.68). What I loved: I think my favorite part of our café treat was the Chai Tea Latte. But, a close second was the chocolate chip cookie dipped in caramel ice cream. Why I loved it: Simple. Homey. Young and vibrant. Cost: Low(coffee beverages for $ 1.50 — $ 3 per 12-ounce cup)

Here’s the deal… Such a big fan of Caffe A La Mode! Great café to enjoy some quiet time by yourself or a group of friends. It’s a great place that fits in nicely with main street Warwick. They offer simple food concepts made to order and always very consistent. Love their chips & salsa as a side w/sandwiches. Great choices of ice cream as well. Whenever I am in Warwick, I stop into Caffee A La Mode.
