Gave them one star because I had my wife go there and it took 15 min to make my 1 ice cream. Only one person working and she tried but wouldn’t pass the QSR test. They also have a drive thru but didn’t have lids? Weird! Now the best part is I found a nice long HAIR in my ice cream. I was eating in bed(fatA$$) watching tv and was so grossed out! My fault for not looking in it before I dove in… I would never go back. It’s just sad another lil warwick business that will shut its doors by next yr imo! Grossed out.

If I could give less than one star, I would. My review is entirely about the service, not the ice cream(which honestly you can get elsewhere in Rhode Island). Me and my friend are Deaf. We have been here exactly three times. The first time we went there, we skipped the speaker box and drove to the window, as one does when they order by writing a note. We knocked on the window and honked the horn — no response. Finally my friend went inside, where the two owners(?) were just sitting there. She points at the car outside and then they’re like«oh!» and come over. My friend returns to her car, and we have our order written on her phone. They make it. No problem. We understand sometimes we’re the first Deaf people that people meet and they aren’t sure how to handle it. Usually once is plenty and they know what to do next time. The second time we go through, we are parked looking at the menu, and they come out and check the speaker box as if it’s broken. We indicate we’re Deaf and they get flustered and go back inside. We pull up to the window and order. They mess it up, and look terrified the whole time. Today was the last straw though. We can overlook the last two as just discomfort in a new situation, but today they were outright rude to my friend. She went to the drive through, no answer. She parked and went in and motioned to the woman that she doesn’t use the speaker as she doesn’t talk. She returns to her car. They STILL don’t go to the window. She continued to knock on the window, no response, so she goes BACKIN, and the woman is like«I didn’t hear you». No kidding, there was nothing to hear. She told my friend to just pull up to the window and wait, and my friend said that’s what she did. She indicated my friend should go outside and pull around again. At this point, my friend was done, she’d already wasted 15 minutes and was short on time in the first place, which is why she wanted the drive-thru. The woman was just being stubborn and rude. Her apology was perfunctory and clearly she didn’t mean it. So that’s the last time we ever use this place. Every drive-thru in America has caught on to how to work with Deaf people, and do so with much friendliness once educated. This is the only time I have EVER seen service get progressively worse with each experience. We have just as much right to use a drive thru in a timely manner as everyone else. So, whoever works here, please go review Title III of the ADA, which deals with public accommodations, including restaurants. There is no excuse for ignorance OR blatant repetitive rudeness.

We stopped at this place after lunch at Cilantro Mex(which is a definite must). It is an adorable ice cream shop with picnic tables in the shade to enjoy your frozen treats. There are a lot of different flavored, including sugar free and frozen yogurt. As a bonus, they also serve Richie’s slush. The drive through option is a little strange but, I suppose if you know exactly what you want, it’s a nice option. Solid choice for ice cream.

Funhouse Ice Cream is a small ice cream parlor offering indoor walk-in service and drive thru window service too. Over 30 flavors of Bliss Dairy ice cream are offered here including frozen yogurt, no sugar added, sorbet, and sherbet choices too. The prices here are fair here, offering cones or dishes, waffle cones, special sundaes, banana splits, shakes, floats, ice cream sodas, and Richie’s Italian Ices. I stopped at the Funhouse to cool off on a hot summer day recently. I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake sundae($ 5.85 plus tax), which was really good. This sundae was layered with buttermilk pieces and caramel sauce on the bottom, hard ice cream(I chose Coffee Oreo flavor to keep it interesting), topped with more buttermilk biscuit pieces around the edges, whipped cream and fresh strawberries. I enjoyed cold treat inside this shop in air conditioned comfort. After enjoying the strawberry shortcake sundae, it was back to the reality of a scorching 90 degree sunny summer day.
