Love the village but beware of shipping packages at stamps plus. Notorious for never getting to their destination and notorious for over charging . I hope someone investigates.

I love the Village. I purposely live close to the Village because I love it. It’s a short strip of a street filled with shops. small businesses. no major corporate franchises.(Although they try to creep in where they can.) It’s sad to hear about greedy landlords. It’s shocking that half of these shops can afford the cost to open their doors. Especially in Cranston, RI where small business taxes are out of control. Enjoy the Village while you can!

The perfect place — I have been living in the are for almost a year and I find myself hardly ever living the area– which can be a good thing for a night out on the town(or village). There are 5 restaurants in walking distance– hidden gems, 2 coffee shops, dry cleaners, a beautiful park, the bridge over pawtuxet river– and let’s not forget gaspee day festivities! Kick off weekend! Follow the red white and blue!

The village is great and the businesses here seem to be thriving, though turnover is fast and furious… Powers Pub and Rim Nam are a couple of the hidden gems here… Worth the drive!
