Been here a bunch, always fresh and tasty(including this time) however the decorating was awful. They said come back in an hour and we’ll fix it. Came back, a tiny bit better but still very amateurish. We go to cut into the cake at my daughters party and their idea of fixing it was add a ton more frosting on top. It was as thick as the cake. Not the end of the world, just had to scrape it all off. Before leaving they did refund $ 10 without us asking for it. We would’ve be n happy to pay their full price for a normal cake instead.

While I love the pastries here, and the service is friendly and professional.. I can’t say enough about their bread! The braided italian, French bread and garlic Italian with the garlic baked right into the bread are superb! ! In my opinion, you just can’t go wrong with this local bakery

Great pastry selection, pies, fresh baked breads, cakes, meat pies, cookies, coffee, good staff. It’s a winner so far. The chocolate chip truffle cookies are addicting and ya got to try a lemonbar. They’ll slice the bread loaves for you and are usually very friendly. Check em out.

Ordered a custom«skull cheesecake». Was assured they could do it. The good: the cheesecake was perfect. Perfect crust. Perfect texture. Absolutely delicious. Very impressed. Also the kids at the counter were very friendly and professional. The bad: the cheesecake looks like a four year old decorated it. Like no effort was put into it. The redeeming thing was that it was so bad it was hilarious. Whoever did this should not be doing custom anything. The skull shape was nowhere near symetrical. The decorating job was just plain lacking. So, I’d go here again for what looks like some good stuff in their cases as well as their cheesecake, I will just never trust them with anything that requires creativity and talent. Thankfully the thought does count with my wife!

I have been coming here since Le Favorite opened several years ago. This is one awesome bakery. The variety of cakes, cookies, and other pastries can make it difficult to decide, though every choice is the right one. Throw in a fantastic staff and this is a destination for anyone needing baked goods for an event or just a «pick-me-up»!!!

Good neighborhood bakery. By no means a destination but I will sometimes stop by if I am in the neighborhood or need affordable pastries for a crowd. I have enjoyed the brownies, the cupcakes and the breads. I’d pass on the breakfast pastries and doughnuts though, they have been disappointing. It’s also a good spot for an affordable birthday cake, if 35 dollar cake isn’t in your budget. Prices are on par for the quality.

This is a smaller bakery in a strip mall that you most likely will pass every day. Their chocolate chip brownies are awesome and only $ 1.00. I prefer them over the ones with nuts. Their eclairs are pretty good too but inconsistent with size and prices. I preferred them much over LaSalle bakery. The cupcakes were average IMO but their garlic bread is really good especially if you like garlic because there are bits and pieces inside the bread. They also have calzones, cakes and other pastries. The calzones are good and the price isn’t too bad.

Even with the new wave of quality baked goods in RI(like Seven Stars), the bread at this traditional bakery holds its own. I especially love the pumpernickel round — it’s glossy, dark, and surprisingly light.

I stopped in yesterday for a few small things. Bismark, rasberry tart, cannoli, and hostess cupcake. The girl behind the counter was very nice and it seems to be the kind of place the locals love. There were some regulars in there while I was there. The tart is more of a cookie but it was good, as was the cupcake. A good bismark is hard to find but they managed to put the right amount of jam in there. It was bigger than most though so definitely something to share. The cannoli cream was very good but the shell was mushy, which is why you do not pre-fill cannoli! A big pet peeve of mine and always a lazy move, but something many bakeries still do. Overall it is worthy of another stop

Hands down, the best bakery in the state(yes, even better than the lauded LaSalle bakery). There’s your standard bakery fare here, in addition to a few neat creations depending on the season. Everything always tastes very fresh and unbelievably delicious, though my favorite is the banana cream pie. The zeppoles here in February/March are very much worth going out of your way for. The cookies are terrific, the birthday cakes are wonderful, the brownies, the blondies, the cannolis… everything. It’s all wonderful. They do have lunch options, such as sandwiches, and freshly brewed coffee. I’ve never tried either, though it’s nice to know the options are there. The staff is always very friendly and more than willing to throw out a suggestion or two. There aren’t enough good things I can say about this place and I highly recommend them, be it for a party or a lazy Tuesday afternoon because your class was cancelled and you didn’t have to go in to work until 5:00.
