Reporting for my wife She only had a short window of time for lunch on Friday. She called in her order so she could grab it and get back home. Order and pick up went well, when she got home she found her well done burger was actually a rare cheeseburger. The dogs give it 4 stars since they are the ones that ate it

As good a burger as you can get. The milkshakes are amazing. I would take this over a 5 guys burger any day(or night) and I love 5 guys. Local run. So the money spent is well spent. Owner checked up on me(or he was the manager) Either way, cool. I like when people ask if everything is ok as I am a little picky on my burger. They cooked it right. The onion rings were good. Staff nice. I had a nice burger and fries and would go back again and again. I am looking forward to what looks like outdoor summer seating. That will be nice. Kid friendly. Its super clean. Which means a lot to me. Keep it up!

My husband said lets take a drive with our kids to Kristy and Todd’s new restaurant TNT. It took us about an hour to get there from Norwood NJ. When I walked in the door I WASINAWE!!! The ambience was PERFECT!!! Between the 6 of us we ordered quite a few different things. We all had the same reaction YUMMMMMMM!!! My burger was PERFECT! My onion rings had a delicious crunchy beer batter on them and as if that wasn’t enough I couldn’t help myself I ordered a chocolate shake!!! I have to say, not because I know the owners but because I REALLYENJOYEDTHEFOOD, for the type of restaurant and the type of food, THEYNAILEDIT!!! CANTWAITFORTHEPATIOSEATINGTHISSUMMER!!!

As a long time user of Unilocal,I’m on it almost everyday tracking reviews for local businesses and restaurants, yet this is my first review! I felt compelled to review because of all the mixed ratings TNT Burger has been getting. As a veteran in the restaurant industry, I’ve been exposed to many different types of service, delivery, cuisines, and quality. With all that said, here’s my review! My wife and I ordered the TNT Burger, Southwestern Black Bean Burger, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich. All 3 were well presented, well seasoned, and very tasty. The burger was certainly not frozen, charred on the outside, and cooked to mid rare-mid. The chicken sandwich was quite delicious — the cilantro mayo was not at all over powering. The black bean burger, while deep fried, was still moist on the inside — with a slight heat from the jalapenos. We also ordered a vanilla milk shake — which I did forget to grab on the way out — not to worry, I called when I got home, they put it in the freezer when they realized I left, and had it ready for me when I came back. I will certainly be returning to TNT Burger. As a Warwickian, I’m always proud to spend my dollars on local businesses that deserve it. Though I know Todd and Kristy very casually through my position in the industry, I wish them the best of luck and continued success.

I’ve been here a couple of times already and I think the place is exceptional! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and cozy and the food is great!!! The last time I was in my kids they split an order of fries and had a hot dog and the sliders… they loved them! Washed it all down with couple of milkshakes. They keep asking me when they can be back. It will be soon… that’s for sure!

I really want to like this restaurant because I think it is just what Warwick needs but on a recent visit my family found the burgers and fries to be its weakest dishes. We love that it’s local but my veggie burger was the best of the ones ordered and for the price of the food the overall quality must be brought up several notches. Hand cut fries and fresh burgers not preformed would definitely be a great addition. Maybe locally sourced ingredients?

stopped in Feb 13th for a bite. ordered the single bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. wife ordered plain cheeseburger with fried onions(didn’t get fried onions) and fries. My burger was half the size of the bun but hers was same size as the bun. Yeah burgers shrink but if that’s the case, both should have been the same. I posted the picture of my bacon cheeseburger to demonstrate the size. Food okay, nothing to rave about. Onion rings were good for the most part but several had uncooked batter inside. Yes, we know — you don’t want to be Shake Shack or Smash Burger but Warwick deserves better than this — especially at these prices. We wont be back until we hear from other friends that changes have been made for the better.

I often provide lengthy reviews of places, but I’m not convinced TNT Burger is worth the trouble since it’s more of a dud than explosive. We should all appreciate the Owner lurking and commenting to some of these reviews, but there is something disconcerting about learning from these comments(most have been deleted by the Owner, including the snarky & lengthy replies I received) that the food quality is a work-in-progress, particularly when it took a year and half for this restaurant to be completed. In other words, why are customers taste-testing basic products like fries after all this time when there are so few menu options? The food is purposefully inconsistent while TNT locates their groove, compounded with high prices for ‘nothing special’, and it should be no surprise when customer comments mention that they left with a bad taste. To punctuate this point — sources tell me the fried potatoes were changed on or about 2÷12÷2016. Owner’s newest comment(besides previously admitting to having prepared frozen-to-serve hamburger patties) on 2÷22÷2016 is that burger quality changed on 2÷24÷2016 — without changing the burger. On the other hand, I’m not sure we’ve ever seen or been offered any samples during any of our visits. Never seemed like a large portion of anything for the price. Prices will certainly continue to fluctuate during these early months. The burgers were less than ordinary, particularly @ current $ 5.25 for single-patty & $ 10.25 for a double bacon cheese burger in a fast food setting. The most expensive is the TNT Burger which is a double-patty cheese burger that comes with ‘Special Sauce’ for $ 10.95 — making a schmear of sauce and a pinch of onion hay valued at $ 1.70 and somehow more expensive than adding bacon. Other than the price for milk shakes which have increased since the restaurant opening, most of the food prices have come down to ‘merely expensive’ from ‘ridiculously over-priced’. Dare I say it, «Where’s the beef?» These otherwise hefty patties just seemed to lack the taste of beef. My basic burgers all tasted like they had been over-seasoned. None of my [3 attempts] burgers were juicy(like Five Guys), none had that special ‘crust’ that shows love went into making the burger(like Shake Shack), and the extra sides/condiments like ‘bacon jam’ or spicy hotdog onions were uneven in textures and seasoning, and should be considered pedestrian at-best(unlike a seasoned Smash Burger). Also, why must every burger have lettuce, tomato & raw onion? Why in a farming community are folks being asked to essentially take fresh produce they might not want — how is that the ‘Custom Creation’ mentioned on their website? Onion rings had detonated prior to arrival and should never have been served on one of the occasions we tried them; grease dripped down on the second occasion. A $ 4.95 cup’o’Chili should arrive piping hot, not tepid as we experienced. There needn’t be any more remarks for an unremarkable hotdog. The ice cream was very good and so too were the shakes(I prefer the non-thick version, less work). I did not ask if the ice cream described as ‘Homemade’ is being made with corn syrup or real sugar. However, we were troubled by employees reaching into the ice cream case without wearing something on their head, particularly when their hair was touching the glass door while they scooped — but this has since been corrected. The common thread on this thread seems to be good ice cream. We seemingly all bought ice-in-winter to ignite our senses and neighborly sensibilities, but there just did not seem to be anything too dyn’o’mite these opening weeks to light a fuse of encouragement to chase us back into TNT. Other than being inside and away from the cold of winter, the food at TNT just does little to provide patrons with an opportunity to embrace the warm-fuzzies of a memorable burger. Minus 1-Star for Bad Value. Minus 1-Star for Signature Food in Progress. Minus 1-Star for Up-charge for Whipped Cream. Minus 1-Star for snarky replies. — 1-star. Good luck. P. S. — Like another Unilocal’er, I’m also bothered by a photograph of children gambling with real money at what is said to be a family-style fast food restaurant. And there are better options for all the food, plastic, and paper waste. Sorry.

I tried this place and was less than impressed by the décor and the food. I must say the local Burger King had tastier burgers and fries than this place. I hope the owners of TNT read these reviews and up their game, less they become another failed business, like the real estate building they replaced in the same spot.

First review i’ve written. Live in Warwick, and was so looking forward to this place. Unfortunately, will not go back until they fix the food. I ordered a bacon burger, french fries and a TNT hot dog. My son ordered a bacon burger and fries. I was looking around for a comments card but couldn’t find one and wanted to pass on my comments to the owners so here goes. . The Good: Great looking place outside and in, very nice people, good service(i liked the pager to prompt you when the food is ready) and the location couldn’t be better. It was just what Warwick needed for that location. The Bad: — The burger was a pre-formed, grocery store patty. — The bun was a grocery store potato bun — The french fries similar to a burger king. not too bad though, just not special enough — Hot dog was nothing special, and bun was grocery store potato. and the TNT onion topping was over seasoned — seasoning not well distributed. — and difficult to discard garbage with tray. paper stuck to the tray which is kinda annoying when you dont want to touch the garbage can lid on the way out For the money and being a restaurant in Warwick, i would’ve expected a much higher quality food product. Just very disappointed. I grew up in upstate new york with some very special burger and dog stops with great rolls, meat product, fries and toppings. Maybe my expectations were too high. I essentially can go to one of the Main street restaurants and have a better burger dish. TNT should be much better given that it is only a burger/dog place. Owners should really take a hard look at 5 Guys, and other good burger joints. and invest in the FOOD quality. I’m really not trying to bad mouth the restaurant as i live in Warwick and really like the people and what Warwick has to offer in terms of food and shopping., very hopeful that owners revisit their food quality strategy in the context of their total offering(service, location and ambiance) as i believe they can turn this place around for the better.
