Had a very tasty pastrami sandwich. Nice and fresh. Only complaint was I ordered a ruben. But my pastrami on rye was very good.

Ordered a Ruben they put pastrami on the receipt and when I got home it was actually a corned beef sandwich which was very good but way small for $ 10 I don’t mind paying $ 10 for a sandwich but please put some meat on it not a ridiculous amount just a little more would have gotten them a couple more stars and me not eating somewhere else to finish my hunger pangs off. Disappointed to say the least

Don’t get me wrong, the sandwiches are very good(we had the falafel pita and cuban sandwich which were both excellent), but I can’t justify paying $ 10+ for a sandwich that doesn’t come with at least fries or a drink. We ordered takeout which included two sandwiches and one order of large fries to split between two of us(no drinks). The bill came to $ 24.00! Unless their prices come down or they include fries with the sandwich, I’ll likely stay away only because I know I can get more for my money elsewhere.

Loved this place. Extremely hands on and friendly owner. Brisket sandwich with the homemade horseradish was excellent as was the falafel platter. Homemade Chicken soup was really good as well. The Arnold Palmer was outstanding and made with real lemonade and freshly brewed ice tea. Small order of homemade chips are good for 2 or 3. Everything is very reasonably priced served in a cordial, comfortable atmosphere. Will absolutely return.

Excellent service. The brisket was out of this world, served fresh and they took their time to cook it. Finally a restaurant in Warwick that serves really great food for a decent price.

Great Reuben, felafel and chicken soup. They should change the plates they serve the good on though — cafeteria style dinnerware definitely takes away from the overall enjoyment of the food. They need to remember people eat with their eyes too.

Wolfies is very clean and the shop looks great. I ordered the falafel on whole wheat but received the standard bread. Not really an issue though. I wish the tahini was a little more flavorful but the sandwich itself was good. The spinsche knish was excellent as well.

We we’re excited to try this place. Thought it may be a good, authentic deli/sandwich spot. The service was confused. Nice people, but confused. I had the falafel platter, which was decent, but very small and for some reason didn’t come with pita. The sandwiches also looked really small. I’d rather pay $ 14 for a huge sandwich rather than $ 10 for a skimpy one they serve. We had to get food someplace else after eating here. The containers were also odd and hard to eat out of. It was kinda a Chinese food container of sorts. I’d try it again if they update their menu to have a better sandwich selection, but right now I’m not rushing back. The previous restaurant, Noble Pies was much better. Hopefully they can improve things.

The first thing to mention is that Wolfie’s displaced a family favorite, Noble Pies, from this Main Street location and that’s a bit disappointing. Since Noble’s still has their original location, it’s refreshing to have something new from Wolfie’s. Wolfie’s had some growing pains their first few weeks(knishes were not available, yellow mustard adorned the tables, food was being served from awkward to-go containers), but those problems have gone away. And a simple sign above the cash register(i.e., Start Here) would eliminate the confusion that you first order and pay for your food before it is brought to your table by one of the pleasant staff dressed in classic deli garb of white shirt and black vest. The simplest way to say it — the bread for the corned beef & pastrami sandwiches is too big for the amount of meat. Clearly, Wolfie’s is trying to keep the price point at $ 10, but the bread to meat ratio is simply wrong. Wolfie’s can 1.) charge more and put more meat on the large pieces of bread, or 2.) they can up-charge for those people who might want an ‘over-stuffed’ sandwich, or 3.) just get smaller bread(see: brisket). What’s on these two sandwiches — corned beef & pastrami — is appropriately steamed meats that is sliced very thin. If the pastrami had a bit more spice and/or smokiness, I’d be a bit happier. For an addition charge, both sandwiches can be served as a ‘Reuben’ if you like sauerkraut and cheese. The brisket is my favorite sandwich. I have had better brisket, but at least this is a good sandwich. Like the corned beef & pastrami, the meat is tender, but sliced thicker. And much to my own surprise, the French Dip-style sandwich that is just about dripping with gravy is enjoyable on — wait for it — the smaller challah(egg) roll. Be careful taking this sandwich to-go, make certain the brisket is ‘dry’ and have the gravy on the side, otherwise, that bottom piece of bread will have disintegrated by the time you arrive home to eat. If you’ve never had a falafel — or just aren’t in the mood to travel to Allan’s in Chester, NY — then the version at Wolfie’s is fine. There are a few sandwiches — Cubano, Italian Beef, and Meatball — that I’ve yet to try. But we have tried the french fries, and even though we’ve ordered without seasoning(which is an extra charge), these have always arrived with something more than just the simple sea salt mentioned on the menu. At $ 5, the fried(square) potato knish was a real disappointment — more so that it took a few weeks to be offered even though it was on the menu from opening day. Who doesn’t enjoy freshly made potato chips(listed as Wolfs Crisps) — and for less money($ 2-$ 3) than those mediocre fries. One last comment on the menu — why must the accompaniment to a sandwich be either a $ 9 salad or fried potatoes(i.e., French, Chips, Knish)? Cole slaw would be nice; even a vinegar-based slaw would work with just about every sandwich. Just seems like something is missing from the menu. Minus 1-star for the oversized Rye bread, minus 1-star for no slaw = 3-Stars.

Was waiting to try this for weeks and got the opportunity 2 Saturdays ago. First thought was that this was going to be kosher, was surprised to see ham and cheese on menu I was running errands and ordered a pastrami sandwich to go. Watched as the food was being served in the room and thought portions looked small for the price. The seasoned fries looked very good. Received my sandwich and headed home thru the apple picker traffic. Opened the sandwich at home and first thought was why did they toast my rye bread. Looked at sandwich and see i received a Reuben and not the standard pastrami on rye with mustard that I ordered. I hate sauerkraut Tried removing kraut ad eating but juices already got to bread. Pastrami was fatty which i know a lot of people prefer, but not me. For $ 10 for a sandwich or $ 11 for the Reuben, the amount of meat was disappointing Did call as soon as I realized my order was wrong in case the person waiting for Rueban was still there and was not getting my sandwich. They asked me if I was OK with my sandwich and I told them not really but I was not going thru the traffic again to bring it back. They thanked me for calling

Best Corned Beef outside of the city. Tasty, tender but not too salty. The only problem is that the rye is too big for the amount of meat. When you order a corned beef sandwich you want it to be piled high. Great Rye but maybe the slices should be smaller or they could put more meat on the sandwich. My son had the cuban sandwich. He really liked it.

Wow, just wow… the Italian Beef sandwich was fantastic… brought me right back to Chicago in an instant. My wife got the falafel and said it was delicious as well. Definitely recommend this as a destination point, it’s certainly worth whatever travel you need to do get here.

My Dad’s dream come true. A beautiful setting to create delicious meals for friends family and acquaintances. We are serving food that comes from the heart. Food that reminds you of a certain place or a fond memory that never quits. We enjoy making new memories too. A little kid eating her first corned beef at that long counter will never leave her mind or her fathers memory as we built the store around her. Thank you Warwick. We love you too.

Great food! Just went with the hubby this past Friday for the first time, we had the falafel sandwich, the italian beef sandwich with a side seasoned fries and wolfie chips, everything was beyond delicious. I plan on going back for the brisket. can’t wait.

Best Reubens and best falafel. Quick, friendly service by locals who have been around forever. Old Americana feel with Mediterranean twist. Will be a Warwick institution before you know it!
