Although Yesterday’s most certainly has ambience and charm, we were somewhat disappointed with our lunch during our first visit. Our burgers did not have much flavor… after reading that Yesterday’s «has one of the best burgers» around, we looked forward to lunch with anticipation and just felt it did not deliver. The fries were not cooked all the way through, and oddly enough, the plate size is so small that when trying to cut your salad, etc., food spills onto the table. That’s an easy fix. On the plus side, service was good.

This is a 2 ½ star pub. I’ve lived in Warwick over 30 years and have been visiting Yesterday’s since they opened. Burgers are decent and enjoy the Shepherds Pie. Glasses of wine are small, overpriced, and mediocre quality. It is by no means a 4 star restaurant(and absolutely not a 5 star), but worthy of a stop for a burger and a beer. Unfortunately, I feel that the some of the reviews here on Unilocal may be planted which really turns me off.

Waitress was very friendly. Food was good… penne ala vodka. Atmosphere was publike, and inviting. Would go again when in the neighborhood.

It’s hard to find a good Irish bar! All craft brews are served in 20 oz imperial pint glasses at the best rate you can expect in Warwick($ 6)!

Nice, friendly staff but very disappointed with the food… I was ready for some good fish and chips and was not impressed. They use cheap, tasteless talpia and the batter was over cooked even burned. My friend’s crab cakes was rubbery and lacking a acceptable amount of crab, her pasta was very unappetizing looking as if left in the pan with the sauce to overcook… she sent it back… her husband’s burger was the only acceptable plate of the three dishes. What was more disappointing is the ‘pub’ was not really busy and ours was the only new entre order at that time. everyone else was eating. Irish pubs, in Ireland, have great food… a smaller menu well executed would be better or maybe a trip to Ireland to see how it’s done… a couple of Bass and Guinness signs are not enough to make this an Irish pub…

Delicious food, great prices, wonderful bartender, and awesome wait staff! Great atmosphere in general, and the staff made us feel like we were completely at home. We would come back anytime.

This place is a must if you’re in the Warwick area. Great bar food(like fish and chips and burgers) as well as delicious dishes you don’t normally find in an Irish pub(like chicken curry). But if you do nothing else, go for a pint — they have a large selection — and a slice of peanut butter pie. To friggin die for. They also bring in musical entertainment some weekend nights, which is fun. The owner John is great and always makes sure his customers are taken care of – whether they’re regulars or there for the first time. You don’t see that too often anymore.

Wait times were out control, waiter and waitress were very rude. My friend asked for a seltzer three times before receiving it. A few of our orders were incorrect but we didn’t feel like waiting another hour for them to be corrected. Do not go here.

Went here on a whim. Read the reviews, and they were mixed, but thought we’d give it a try. Big mistake. It started with our salads, that were supposed to come with before the entrée. Our entrée came, no salads. Even so, our food all had a crust on it, like it was sitting under a heat lamp. I ordered the duck. They have a duck special everyday. I was reluctant to order it, since it was a pub, but I thought if a restaurant has a daily duck special, they must know how to cook it. Boy was I wrong. The duck was tasteless, smothered in barbecue sauce. The skin wasn’t crispy and the fat wasn’t rendered, so there was a nasty fat layer. The mashed potatoes seemed like they were from a mix. They were tasteless. There was a crust on the top due to the heat lamp. My daughter ordered the manicotti, and the cheese was so dried out it was inedible. I suppose that if you stuck with pub fare, you would be fine.

I like the food and drinks. Have eaten there many times, but there is one waitress who insists you eat at the bar if you are alone. I walked in on a Saturday at 2030 and half the tables were empty. She’s done this to me before but never again. I went to Pioneer down the road and the waitresses were friendly, had no problem they were closing at 2100, and my burger was great.

Food consistently good. The best burgers around plus fresh grill salmon done perfectly every time. Warm cosy atmosphere & great staff! It’s our go to place in Warwick.

This place is a travesty. Notice how empty it is compared with all of its competitors(Fetch, Blarney, Eddie’s, Grappa, Landmark, etc.). It’s disgusting. Owner is a vile human being… depends on tourists who don’t know better. When you’re there, just examine the floor for five minutes. Count the cockroaches. Then think about how much you’ll enjoy your food and sour beer!

Great burger and shepherds pie. Have visited here many times and have never had less than a great meal! Excellent beer on tap selection too.

My boyfriend and I walked in this place today and weren’t entirely impressed. Pros: — They have a great beer selection and serve large drafts at an inexpensive price — Service wasn’t terrible Cons: — The font the menu is in makes it hard to read. The selection was kind of boring and basic. I expected more from an Irish pub. — Our table was dirty near the salt /pepper shakers and sugars. Looks like someone half assed cleaning. We will be back for drinks, I’m sure of it. But food? Blah. No.

This place looks great from the outside and they advertise having«fine food and spirits» however the food was rather tasteless. The drinks were another story. We ordered martinis which came out poorly made and upon asking them to be fixed, our bartender(who happens to be the owner) came out and explained that we «should know what we were ordering» before making our decisions. He was amazingly rude about the whole thing and I will never be returning to this place. Our waitress was great and apologized for his behavior. God bless her. Do not come to this restaurant if you want good service from the bar. It looks good from the outside, but that’s it.

Just okay, rather tatty, worn, dated and quite frankly, dirty. Lots of dirty clutter hanging from the walls and shelves, spider webs everywhere in the main dining room. The outside looks so quaint, but it’s misleading. If they shut down for a day and did a serious deep clean, I’d update this review. It’s fine for a quick drink at the bar, but I’d go across the street to Fetch to eat. The staff was polite however.

An old school Irish pub with very good food AND really tasty in-house desserts. When we got there we were greeted by the wait staff and the owner. They informed us there was a five minute wait, but thankfully there was a small standing waiting area(:cough cough: unlike another bar in the area) with a heater in the front. The beer selection is okay, there’s about two or three craft beers from the larger breweries. They also have a good amount of imported beers. The Morland Old Speckled Hen was a pretty good English Bitter Ale. The wife and I both had the fish and chips. The fish had a tasty beer batter that had the perfect amount of crisp to it. We split dessert, I had an Irish Coffee which was done very nicely with a green drizzle and cinnamon powder sprinkled over the whipped cream. We also, had the chocolate peanut butter cake, which consisted of a chocolate gauche over a peanut butter cake. The owners wife is a pastry chef and makes all the desserts listed on their menu. I can see why this place has been around for 30 years.

Old time Irish pub atmosphere serving up delicious food. .. . John, the owner is very hands on and shows his presence. His wife, Peg-Pastry Chef creates the best deserts.…great way to end a day– yesterday, tomorrow and always!

Small, but well-organized pub-like space. Attentive staff. Food choices for just about every diner. If you want fish and chips, pasta or something low-carb, it’s there on the menu. We’re local and it’s one of our favorites.

Where do I start? Service unfriendly. The manager with the white hair was angry and disrespectful to the waiting staff. Food was unimpressive. They were busy since it is apple season in Warwick. As a result they didn’t know how to manage the volume. Everyone was pissed since they had to wait 40 min for food. Everything about this place was sub par. The fish I got was burned and the fries were not cooked. On my way out I warned two families to go elsewhere. Now I warn you. What a waste.
