I have actually been to worse places, but the service is so bad at certain times that I think one star is the way to go here. This store does have a large selection of convenience items, as one might expect given its location within a GWU campus building. But, honest to God, the people working here… No clue, and no manager providing them with a clue. If you find yourself here at a busy time, you will probably find a line of 10 – 15 people and one cash register open. You will also see at least one, maybe two, other employees engaged in non-critical work — stacking the creamers at the coffee station just so, making chicken nuggets where there’s still half a tray(and it’s 8:30am on a weekday), shit like that. They might be chatting. They might be sipping on a soda at the handsink(ahem). Meanwhile customers are lined up, cups are out for beverages, etc. Off hours, there isn’t much of a problem. But, the problem above? Every workday. Every. One.

Surprisingly this 7 – 11 has a large variety of drinks, snacks, and other miscellanous items as you can’t tell from the outside how big the store is. It satisfies the need for nearby workplaces for snacks, 7 – 11 hot dogs, Big

Ok, what’s up with having no ice coffee, this is the 3rd7⁄11 without it. Grrr! Other than that, service is pleasant, can’t really complain, place is clean and organized!

PROS: –Redbox($ 1 movie rentals, you can’t go wrong!) –large, spacious area inside the 7 – 11 –the staff are very friendly and smile a lot –run a lot of good promotions — $ 1 coffee Wednesdays; $ 1 pizza slices; etc –very well lit and pretty clean on a regular basis –long hours so you can stop by early or late CONS: –not easily located/found simply because of the storefront. it is tucked away off the street a little bit with just a front door visible to the street –sort of smells funny in the entrance hallway(which could also use a good cleaning) –sometimes the staff don’t speak English very well(I came in one day looking for a box of Jell-O and neither employee could understand me)

So DC had a big storm and no one had power… Generators were sold out within a 300 mile radius which left me throwin’ all my frozens in coolers on ice… Only problem was that everyone was out of ice… Except for this 7-Eleven! When we had no where else to turn, they came through and had as much ice as anyone could need! The staff was friendly, the store was clean… I couldn’t have asked for more! Even though this storefront is a tad tucked away, and not really noticeable unless you know about it or looking for it, I most def. would recommend hittin’ this store up for any of your on-the-go needs!
