I am an endurance athlete who was struggling finding not only the right foods but the right portions to help get to an maintain my goal weight. Alison was great, after reviewing my food logs made suggestion of not only foods but provided recipes for smoothies and other meals to help reach my goal. She help explained how I should look to structure my meals as well as we reviewed my race nutrition plan. It was a great experience and I would recommend Alison to anyone looking for a nutritionist.

I’ve seen Alison for appointments off and on the past two years. The first year we focused on some body image issues I was struggling with that wasn’t helpful in my weight loss journey. I didn’t have much weigh tot lose but just wanted to trim up. Alison was very helpful in making me see that I was really fighting myself and needed to step away from the numbers jail. Long story short, once I stopped fighting myself and focused on my athletic ability I saw a drop in pant size. Recently, I’ve been struggling with food allergy issues and working with Alison in finding new ways to fuel myself as I prep for upcoming races. I finished my last half marathon very strong and even improved my time by 12 minutes! I highly recommend working with Alison!

My first appointment went really well and I was hopeful that I would finally start losing some of the weight I have gained over the last year. Then I went for my second appointment and the experience was very different. She reviewed my food logs and said I ate well and she wouldn’t change a thing. Obviously I need to change something to lose weight!!! So I gave up, found another dietician who accepts my insurance and I am finally losing weight.
