I have never seem such a cool exhibit in my life… by far one of the best exhibits in newseum… it’s so interactive… This whole exhibit is decated to the movie«anchorman»…when you first step into the exhibit there’s a bio about the movie anchorman. with quotes… clothing. and movie props… After that there is a display of the movie… it feels like your in an actually news room… this is a cool area For people to take pictures … Further down you can get a video of you and your family doing a news report… you stand there looking at the camcorder and reading the script… Try to read extremely fast… theres a museum guild to help you… after your done being a news reporter go check out the big gaming area… So many gaming stations to choose from… the games are simple and straight forward of course there’s tutorial on how to play and what to do at the gaming station… There was barely any people playing… So no need to wait… Yes!

72% sure you’ll love it 100% of the time. That’s an ad for the new exhibit at the Newseum displaying props, clips, and sets from the now classic comedy«Anchorman»(2004). Is it worth the venture to the behemoth on Pennsylvania Ave? YES If: You LOVE and worship the ground Will Ferrell walks on. You LOVE Anchorman and can quote it. You want to see a gorgeous museum that deals with issues of gender and social justice in news. You’ll Also Love It If: You love experiencing spaces. The Newseum is well designed, architecturally interesting, and has much more to see than just the Anchorman exhibit. You want to learn more about News in America. NO If: You’re expecting every prop and obscure artifact from the movie. There are about 2 cases and 2 walls of props from the movie, and the news desk from the set of the Channel 4 action team. Do not expect to get lost in the exhibit for hours. Guessing it’s about 30 minutes of stuff to see. You’ve never seen Anchorman, and think the exhibit will impress you. You wouldn’t check out a few other exhibits while you’re there, especially for the $ 22 entry fee. So stay classy Newseum and keep the awesome exhibits coming. The exhibit will run through Aug 31st, 2014.
