Buddy and I flew in for a memorial ride and run. We rented two bikes and all the fixings from Bikes to Borrow and we have nothing bad to say about them. They dropped everything off to our hotel, the equipment was top notch and in good condition and they were very flexible and easy to work with to get everything returned so it was convenient for us. Their customer service was top notch! I would recommend them to anyone and use them again in a heart beat! Thanks for making our event happen for us!

I used Bikes to Borrow to rent a bike for a day during a quick trip to DC. Overall the experience was excellent, the bike was left at my hotel before the expected drop-​off time. It was a well maintained and delivered with a lock and a helmet.

Really glad I stumbled onto this operation when there were no bikes to rent at the normal retail spots.
They deliver the bike to you. They pick it up where you want them to (all within DC).
The bikes are nice, I did a road bike w/​105s and it was a good bike.

Bikes To Borrow has been a great place for me to rent cycles while covering business trips to Washington DC.
This is the second time that I’ve rented from Bikes To Borrow and both times they were delivered by Sega who brought them to the hotel on the back of a fully electric Nissan LEAF with a full body wrap advertising Bikes to Borrow.
This experience (both rentals) was too cool. I love this operation.
I’m currently training for a 500 mile cycle tour across western Colorado, which comes up in less than one month. While on business trips I still need to be able to train, get some get some miles in, and long hours on a quality cycle.
I recommended Bikes To Borrow to others and will gladly continue to use them myself.

We wanted to rent something good so my brother and I could ride down to Mt Vernon and back during his visit. We tried some other local bike places but they only really rent hybrids and not very great ones, at that. We rented a fantastic carbon fiber road bike from Bikes to Borrow and had a absolutely stellar experience. The bike was great, the price reasonable, and the service awesome. I absolutely recommend.

This is an awesome company to rent bikes from. You can have the bikes delivered and picked up at your location. We had them delivered to our hotel our first day in D.C. We were impressed with the quality of service and the bike quality. We were able to cover so much ground and with the locks provided, we were able to secure the bikes when we wanted to get off and visit a memorial. A happy memory and great experience on a wonderful vacation.

Sega runs a great service! Set up the dropoff and pickup time on his site. He texted me to alert me that he would be 20 minutes late, but that was not a problem as I needed the bike for the next day. He also texted me to let me know exactly what time he would arrive for the pickup. Super, very well maintained bikes. This was so much simpler for me than driving my truck over to pickup the bikes. Will definitely use his service again.

I have been using Bikes to Borrow over the past few years to do group rides in DC. It has been a great experience each time. They provide high quality of the bikes and awesome customer service. I highly recommend everyone to use this service… it caters to both novice and avid bikers. The process is easy to rent and very streamlined. Bikes to Borrow makes biking around DC easy and fun.

I was visiting the city to compete in a triathlon. It was great to find a business that would deliver a high end road bike to my hotel and pick it up when I was done. I reserved a bike for a day and requested a deliver of 5pm online. My flight was unfortunately delayed however when I checked into my hotel the bike was with the concierge waiting on me… seat adjusted and with spd pedals as requested.
Now that’s service!!!

A good idea, well executed. Delivery was a few minutes late on a busy day, but they did let me know via text. I didn’t get exactly the bike I requested, but again, they let me know well in advance via text and gave me a chance to nix the deal (I didn’t.) Nice mechanically sound road bike, clip-​in pedals as I requested, well set up. Service was friendly. I got two nice long rides in during the 24 hours for a great price. Would gladly rent from them again.

I used Bikes to Borrow to rent a 21 speed hybrid for the day and bike to/​from Mt. Vernon (~ 35 miles).
What sets this rental company apart is the delivery/​pickup component. You can arrange drop off/​pickup at two separate locations if that is more convenient for you.
The bike was delivered at the scheduled time and included a helmet and lock (these, along with pedals, must be specifically requested). I was a little concerned about how a rental bike would handle the higher mileage of the trip, but it handled smoothly the entire time.
There was a slight mix up about the return pickup time, so if you’re on a tight schedule and can’t wait for the pickup, you might want to make sure you confirm the exact time in advance.
All in all, a good service that I will use again if my biker friends plan another bike excursion.
