This review is focused on the outstanding customer service I received from Anna at Billy Reid before the holidays. Anna went out of her way to have an item brought in from other stores in different sizes for me to try on in order to ensure a perfect fit and total satisfaction. It is incredibly refreshing to know that customer service of this caliber still exists. If you are shopping Billy Reid in Georgetown be sure to ask for Anna by name and I have no doubt she will take as good care of you as she did for me.

This is my new favorite for menswear in D.C. They have a large selection of high-quality, stylish clothing from casual to formal, and they also offer made-to-measure styles. I received excellent service from Jason, who stripped down a mannequin to find my size when I had just about given up. The store itself is classy without being stuffy, and I didn’t experience any pressure to buy clothes that weren’t quite right for me.(For comparison, I’ve been duped into buying ill-fitting suits down the street at Suit Supply.) The only thing that I didn’t especially like was that I was charged for alterations to the suit I purchased; however, the suit was discounted already, so I still got a good deal, and I was told alterations are free for full-price suits. I plan on coming back for MTM dress shirts, and I’ll update this review if anything changes.

Update! My boyfriend and I just received a thank-you note in the mail from Laura, our sales associate. In my opinion, good customer service is hard to come across. It is the little things, such as this handwritten note delivered by mail– old school has a certain charm– that mean so much. Attention to detail will ensure that we will certainly be customers of this store for life. Taking a drive to Georgetown for a weekend of shopping, drinking, and bonding is the perfect excuse to shop at this store in person as opposed to online or one closer to our home. As previously stated, it is the little things that mean most. Laura Pope, you are splendid, and we will be seeing you soon!
