I have visited this location twice hoping that my experience would be better and was sorely disappointed. Went during lunch time(12−1pm) and was immediately seated at my booth with my family. I noticed that the restaurant maybe had about 20 of their tables filled, not too busy at all. We were immediately greeted by the shift captain and offered samples of the sauces, which I loved and it gave me hope that our experience was going to be great. After about five minutes our waitress came over and took our food order, great service timing there. After our order was taken we didn’t see her for 45 more minutes. I had to get up and find her to ask about our food. At that point we had to leave so my husband could return to work. We asked for containers for the food and then noticed that the order was incorrect. We had to wait another ten minutes to get the order rectified. When I asked if I could get a bag to carry our food in the waitress just told me, «Well they are up at the front so you can go get one there». We were offered no apology or compensation. We were just told, «We are busy today, lots of people want wings». It’s sad to see this place with such horrible customer service! It is in a great location right next to Nationals Park and will definitely be packed before and after baseball games. They are going to need to seriously step it up if they plan to have any happy customers. If I were you I would avoid this place. Definitely make sure you don’t go during Nationals Games unless you don’t mind a ridiculously long wait for food, incorrect orders, and zero service.

Ok we have given this establishment several chances. They cannot seem to get out from under a complete lack of server experience. Food ok but poor captains and servers make the experience frustrating at best.

Whoever chose this location to put a Buffalo Wild near the Nats stadium, is a genius. Can we say revenue, revenue, revenue on game days!!! Although this is a chain restaurant, it is on par with others I’ve been too. They have good food and a great sports atmosphere. I can tell they have invested a lot into the entertainment aspect. Not only do you have a great viewing angle for games being shown on TV, you can also play poker and other table games while eating with friends, family, or even co-workers. Being that I was there for lunch, I had the traditional wing with their new Mumbai Masala sauce. The new sauce is FULL of flavor, I felt as if I was in Mumbai, India eating some of their best chicken dishes.

Beer, wings, sports, service and clean & modern décor. What more do you want from a BWWs? I’ve been to many throughout the Midwest and East Coast — and most of them have been REALLY bad since the Great Recession was in full swing. I remember that and it impacts where I choose to go now. Well, I must say that stopping in here was a few spots down on my list to get a fill of wings. I’m glad I did!!! Everything in my first sentence above was exactly I had hoped all those horrible BWWs were back in 2010 and 2011 when most of them served wings the size of your pinky finger. Thank you Navy Yard for making BWWs the places I used to enjoy again!

This delivers what it promotes itself as – cold beer, hot wings(or mild ones, I suppose), and lots of sports on tv. The Navy Yard location is pretty clutch. I found the staff friendly(at least the servers were). As for the food, it was again just what you’d want/expect coming in here, and it was made well. We had varying palettes at the table, and everyone was pleased. The beer selection is quite excellent, and if, like me, you fall on the anti/low hops scale of things, you’re going to like what they have — while they have plenty of hoppy beers, you have a good array of choices here if hops aren’t your thing. I found it a LITTLE loud here, but I’m sure that’s because I’m old and can’t hear as well anymore. ;)

To be honest this place consist of an Mediocre Over –Priced Menu. Went here Friday Night. Place was empty thought it was closed until we entered and saw the«staff» hanging and playing. It is new so the atmosphere was bright and clean. Dining and bar area was clean. Plenty of Televisions to watch. Lanae was our waitress whom did a good job. Service was fast. We ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks– nothing special here most likely were frozen and just tossed in fryer. Next were the wings and fries. They have a good amount of flavor options We got the lemon pepper-chipotle bbq-and garlic parmesan. First lets talk about the shoe string fries that looked so helpless –no flavor no crunch . Wings were disappointing –I came across some findings(see pic) that just ruined it. The quality of the chicken was just bad and inconsistent :(. Some wings huge some small some soft the boneless were over cooked. Lanae asked how was the food once we finished and we told her the same as above basically it was just okay at best. Lanae suggested next time we «come early»(insider). That became a staple joke for her and ourselves for the rest of the night. She tried to make us feel better and not lose a customer so I salute her for that ! Even got us drinks of lemonade to go . The managers made his way over and again we told him about the food and also suggested he speak with his staff. The place was not packed but that was still not a time for screaming running and playing while customers were in sight. He said he was only 2 weeks in and explained how all of the BWW get chicken from the same place and how maybe our chicken had been sitting since it was not busy(okayyy makes me feel much better my food was just sitting around lol). He also said he would speak with the staff as most are young and first time employees, and if we would come back to visit again and notify him Immediately of any issues with the food or staff . I wont be rushing back any time soon. But I will say the hours and location are convenient so I will give them time to work out the issues and return later. I really could see potential here if things got better . Oh yeah the garlic parmesan flavor was great !! Must try when you visit just be specific on how you want your wings cooked I guess.

First time visit — so glad this is at Navy Yards area. This place will be nuts during baseball season. Had FANTASTIC service from Doug and Markel. Great guys and very attentive.

Went there for lunch, and received terrible service. No silverware for food.(had to ask numerous times), we finally gave up and ate with our fingers. Got our food, and it was cold. The server didn’t know the menu and didn’t really even care. Hope they get there act together before Nats Park for the season. Will not go again.

Very cool location that I didn’t know existed until my softball team called for a annual team meeting here. They were able to accommodate 12 of us comfortably with all orders served hot with no complaints. I love when food comes out just the way the customer ordered. Some restaurants sometimes drop the ball when there is a large party ordering. I kept my order very simple with hot wings and French fries. There were a variety of different meals coming out that my teammates ordered from wings to sandwiches and every was very pleased. The staff was very attentive and that is always appreciated when to come to a restaurant with a large group.

Came in at 12:30 as a walk in… took over a half hour to get 10 wings and fries to go… I love Bdub but service here was polite but slow… The Parm/Garlic wings are off the hook though… just sayin!

Party of 2. Went on a Saturday evening at 630pm *****Service: called ahead; employees answered promptly; found nearby meter parking, we were promptly seated, got our drinks. ordered food, which came out in under 10 minutes(24 boneless wings and wedges) *****Ambience: Typical BWW, TVs everywhere playing sports, 1⁄3 of the place was full, plenty of employees to help us, employees were really nice and welcoming(shout out to our waitress, Rashida). *****Food: Awesome wings with great flavoring. Lots of meat in each wing. Wedges were on point, too.

Went here last night, to watch an nfl game, with two buddies. Besides not selling beer by the picture, I have no complaints about this place. The entire staff was very attentive. The food is good, at reasonable prices. I really liked the atmosphere. I will defiantly, add this place, as one of my regular haunts.

It’s Bdubs, in a new, shiny package. You’ll get a sports bar atmosphere with reasonably priced food and drinks. Bdubs staged a coup in getting this location. It is now the closest outside food establishment to Nats park. I suspect opening it in the middle of the off-season was deliberate, so as to give themselves time to iron out wrinkles before the season. The place is pretty big, full of screens, lots of staff. Service is prompt and friendly. We went here with a party for happy hour and it’s obvious the staff is learning the ropes. They had a hard time keeping our orders and tabs straight, but they tried, and were friendly. Food is fine but the wings aren’t particularly meaty. If you want to eat at a new(chain) sports bar next to the stadium you don’t have too many options and the ones you do have fill up quickly. This one is fine for the masses(Big Stick and Gordon Biersch have better beer and food, but they’re smaller and pricier).

I’ve eaten at bdubs so many times in different states and the food and drinks are consistent. However, this place is fairly new to the area and I noticed that service is really really slow for a bar restaurant on lunch time… like why?! My coworkers and I went during lunch and I ordered boneless wings with side of ranch and it of course came without ranch and took longer to get my lunch and my coworker asked for buffalo sauce and it came after he already ate half of his food. We will come back again and hope for the best because there’s not much places to eat in the navy yard.

Okay based on some of the reviews here, its clear to me that none of them have eaten at BWW before, and their only experience with chicken wings has been when their hipster roommates brought home Bonchon for their Republican debate watch party. Well as your standard middle class midwesterner I can tell you I have been to many and this BWW is on point. First of all they have by far the most TVs I’ve seen at any of the locations, in fact they may hold the world record for the greatest concentration of televisions within a one block radius on earth. And when I got there the first thing they asked me was, «what game are you here to see?» That has never happened before. They further made it clear that at any time I could ask to switch the TV closest to me to whatever I wanted. Now at pretty much every other sports bar, and most other BWW, trying to get them to change the channel away from a CSI rerun to an actual sporting event is a trying task, with the server feigning ignorance on how to use the remote, claiming they don’t carry ESPN2, etc. Here it was different. Second of all the manager came over to me, wrote his name on a card, and told me to ask him if I needed anything. Keep in mind this occurred at a BUFFALOWILDWINGS. They serve their food in cardboard trays and I got a personalized card from the manager. So to all you yuppie interns who won’t eat anywhere not owned by Jose Andres, I defy you to go anywhere else in DC and get service like that. My check was under thirty bucks and I got a love note from the team captain, bruh. Finally, since I don’t want to waste any more of your time, these wings are the best of any other chain. You can go to Bonchon and get sparrow or pigeon wings, or you can come here and get wings from a bird that doesn’t skip leg day. And the sauces, man, switching up their Blazin to the ghost pepper flavor was an excellent move. The people are great, the food is great, and to all you people trying to come at this place like you’re Gordon Ramsay or people who write reviews without eating the food saying you’ll come back and«amend» your review, stay away from this place so I can enjoy it in peace(you’d probably make them change the TV to soccer anyway). PS like all BWW this place has a customer to employee ration of 1 to 1, so there’s a lot of employees milling around and taking up tables themselves, but its cool. I’d do that too if I worked here.

The service here was pretty inattentive. Had to ask for side plate for an entrée we were sharing and did not receive them until 10 minutes later once our food was cold. Food was mediocre, I would stick to chicken wings only at a place like this.

We went for dinner on opening day. The staff was amazing — attentive and friendly. I hope they keep that up! Lots of TVs and all tables have a good view. The bar area is large and they have happy hour weekdays until 7 pm. The food was pretty good. The fries weren’t hot but the boneless wings were. Great nachos. 60 cent wings on Tuesdays. This will be my go to location on Sundays for football!

OK, I actually ate here today. Full disclosure, this is my first visit to any BWW. As you can imaging on the first day, service was slow and disorganized so I don’t hold that against them at this point. The prices were on the high side. my burger($ 10.99) soda($ 2.69) and a side of BBQ sauce(an extra $.60?) totaled up to nearly $ 16 with tax, not including tip. I could overlook the fact that the fries must have waited as long as I was to be served if it wasn’t for the fact that the burger was dry and lifeless. I can have some certainty that service will improve, but I’m not putting much faith in improved foods quality. Good luck!

Today is opening day. I received in the mail a flyer stating that the first 100 guests will receive coupons for free wings for a year. According to the website, front door of the establishment, and their employees the restaurant would open at 11am. I structured my day accordingly. I arrived at 10:20am to the restaurant being open. The coupons did not go out to the first 100 guests, simply the first 100 who waited in line. When I arrived and noticed that they were already opened I asked the hostess if the coupons were still available; she stated ‘yes.’ When she asked me ‘how many to dine in’ I said, ‘If you still have the coupons — one.’ ‘Yes,’ she responded, and then asked me to take a seat. Next to me was a kind gentleman who had what looked like to be a coupon booklet. He told me that they passed out the booklets to those in a line outside at 10am; you didn’t need to be a «guest.» Pointing to this gentleman’s booklet I asked the hostess for a third time if they had coupons remaining. She looked at me puzzled and said, no, you had to be here in line for that. For some, it appears, they had insider knowledge or received information differently(as related from the gentleman). Being a displaced Buffalonian, I do hope to check out the wings at some point. When I eat at there I will amend my review.
