These guys were near the museums this past weekend and I took my mom and aunt to their truck for what I hoped would be some delicious falafel. Unfortunately, we received Very dry falafel, flavorless wraps with barely any sauce. The falafel fritters themselves were low on flavor as well. I can’t really recommend this truck for falafel but I will say their service was prompt and friendly enough.

The burrito bowl with lamb was good. Lamb was just right. They ran out of the salad option and had no shade for the line. Even though the line was only about 5 people long, it took about 20 minutes.

This is the best food I’ve eaten in DC so far. Lamb was cooked perfectly. Definitely check them out.

I prefer this truck to Chipotle. The first time I had the guacamole it was really good and the second time it was odd but it’s like getting a Chipotle burrito bowl with the option of lamb or falafel without being up charged for guac. The servers are nice and efficient too.

The food is amazing at this truck, 100% halal I can taste it. The guy at the truck is a really nice and helpful. The idea is an amazing idea mixing two cultures together and it came out really good. A burrito with a mix of falafel amazing idea. I eat there almost everyday and every time I eat there it tastes better.

This little truck was near the museams — there must have been a food truck festival today because I couldn’t find a single truck at any of the usual suspect spots here… anyways, this is what lead us to eat here. The guy in the truck was very friendly and let us taste the chicken and lamb before ordering. We went with chicken wraps(burrito). We got all the toppings: long grain white rice, corn, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole, lettuce, black beans, hot sauce, and white sauce. The guacamole was a thin weird soupy green– I’d skip that next time. The burrito took on a halal taste more than Mexican due to the chicken being the halal style small chicken marinated chunks. The price was a bit high, 9 $ for a burrito– but the burito was chipotle sized and very filling– no reason it should cost more than chipotle though. I’d certainly eat this again when in the mood for this style of food but certainly don’t fall for the ‘mexican’ advertising on the side of the truck :)
