I swear the people at this location can’t read. They mess up my order everytime. One time I asked for half chicken half steak… only chicken. When I went today I did a online order I asked for extra beans… I get no beans. I’ll go across the street to qdoba from now on.

It’s your typical Chipotle. Great, cheap food with many options. The line gets really long at lunch hour, but it moves very, very quickly. I’ve never spent more than 10 minutes in line, even when it was out the door, Be sure to have your payment method ready when you get to the register so you don’t slow down the line.

Delicious fast food. Steak burrito made to order as you go down the line. What could be better.

I really don’t have anything bad to say about this Chipotle. Sure, the line at 12 is out the door and it takes a whiiiiiile to get through it, but DUH, is there a better lunch option than Chipotle??? Cheap, filling, delicious… yeah, didn’t think so. I’m as big a fan of their burrito bowls as you get, and at this location the staff is friendly, nice and super generous with the portions. It’s no easy feat to finish a bowl in one sitting, but I have faith in you! Delicious food, friendly staff and a very convenient location = 5 stars in my book!

Full disclaimer: I got my Chipotle burrito bowl to-go, and they packed it sideways in one of their paper bags. I walked back to my office, and just as I entered, the bottom of the bag ripped and my Chipotle bowl fell out. Miraculously, the bowl was a little dented but still sealed(that would’ve been a messy clean-up if it opened!) — but my lunch was still in tact and that’s what matters. Rewind 30 minutes and I enter into Chipotle. It’s lunch time on a weekday, a little after 1pm. It’s one of the busier Chipotles. The line is full and almost out the door — in fact, I’m hovering on the threshold of the door. In front of me are a lot of young professionals and college students waiting for their turn to get some Chipotle. The line moves at a reasonable pace, it took me about 20 minutes between entering and exiting. Servings were fair. They weren’t super generous, but they weren’t skimpy either. No issues with service, food was in stock, and they had a lot of meat grilling in the back — you can tell they were in production mode. My carnitas bowl was made, bagged, paid, and then I was out the door. Meanwhile, drip, drip, drip goes the bowl which is being carried at a 60 degree angle. It was most likely the salsa or the sour cream that was leaking. First the bowl container starts to get soaked and weak, followed by the bag. Completely oblivious, I keep walking. As I walk back to the office, anticipating eating my delicious Chipotle bowl, BOOM! A shiny silver container hits the floor, and simultaneously, the bag in hand feels really light. The container didn’t open, so no harm no foul, right? Fast forward 5 minutes, and I’m sitting at my desk opening my bowl, fork in hand, ready to take my first bite. The verdict? Slightly… dry. But we know why(because all the liquid leaked out!!!). The brown rice was also on the bland side. All in all, definitely not my best Chipotle experience. While they handle crowds well, I’ll probably go to a different and less busy Chipotle next time.

I love chipotle, I really do. It’s my go to place. This location was horrible. The restaurant smells like there is a gas leak and it was not clean. The servers were not wearing hats or hair nets. The food line was sloppy and the food looked old. And to top the whole experience off, my burrito was half rolled in tortilla and the rest was kept in with the foil. Horrible experience over all. I will not come back to this location and chipotle should look into the management here.

Are you feeling lucky, kid? Well are ya? Punk? Be cautioned that even when you order online 1.5 hours in advance, you may still have to wait 30 minutes to pay and pick up your order. After waiting in the pickup line until my eyes glazed over, I literally stood and waited beside the register while three separate customers passed me by. When I did get my food, it was solid. However, I didn’t appreciate the ordeal I went through in order to get it.

The worst Chipotle I’ve ever visited. Food looked unfresh and the workers looked unhappy and few. And on top of that, the ice machine wasn’t working. I only decided to go here due to the fact that I got a free burrito from the online game promotion.

I love Chipotle, but I hate this location. I work in Georgetown, and every time I decide to try this Chipotle again I’m instantly reminded about what I disliked about it the last time I was there. The service is insanely slow — no matter what time of day it is, I can guarantee you it’s going to take you at least 15 minutes to get your food. Chipotle notoriously has long lines, I get it, but it seems like this location still hasn’t figured out how to deal with the sheer volume of customers coming into its store every day. My food at this Chipotle has always been pretty good with the exception of the mild tomato salsa. Every time I’ve come in, the tomatoes look pulverized and watery. Not very appetizing to put on your burrito bowl…

I’m discerning about my Chipotles. Ever been to a location that skimps on everything, leaving you in despair and still hungry? Not the Chipotle on M Street. Always well-seasoned rice and meat, and great ratios. You’ll wait in line if you’re there for the lunch rush, but they move it along quickly. And the staff is always smiling and nice, so be nice to them back!

LOVE Chipotle., HATE this location. The employees are SORUDE!!! I’ve only been a few times, but every single time I’ve gone, I have either been treated poorly or witnessed another customer receiving horrible customer service. I have 2 gift cards that are burning a hole in my pocket just b/c I hate going here so much. Maybe it’s b/c I was spoiled b/c the location near my old job in Columbia was amazing. The food and staff were awesome. This place is just awful. I really hope they do something to improve this place b/c I love Chipotle and the location is super convenient, but the last thing I need to do during my lunch break at work is come in contact with even more unpleasant people.

Food is always great as can be expected from Chipotle. I enjoy the sofritas burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side. However, I’ve found that customer service here is worse than in other Chipotles. Staff are very uninterested and lethargic.

I am simply here to say they need to do MUCH better with their online ordering experience. Standing in line for 20 – 30 min AFTER ordering on line for a SPECIFIC time, defeats the purpose. If I’m waiting as long as the regular line. I might as well order with them, or waste my money and gain my calories elsewhere.

It’s odd to be reviewing a chain restaurant, but at this point I’ve visited this location on so many lunch breaks that I feel as though it warrants my attention. Dearest Chipotle, you do a good job handling your very long(often out the door and into the crosswalk) line. However, I will still order online and pick it up forever more. With that in mind, please find a way to keep the food awaiting pick-up warm. I show up 5 minutes early to make sure that it’s at least warm-ish when I eat it, but there’s gotta be something that can be done about cold rice, beans, and meat at the bottom of my burrito bowl. Your chips as always are delicious, thank you for carrying Mr. Pibb.

Okay, it’s Chipotle. What am I going to say that you don’t already know about Chipotle? It’s great food… but this one in particular I feel absolutely compelled to talk about my experience. For anyone that works there that reads this, I was there 6÷18÷2014 around 6pm. It’s in a nice location just below street level. I ordered my favorite, chicken soft tacos. Nobody makes chicken better than Chipotle. But what made this experience better than ANY Chipotle I have been to from all over the country was the staff. They treated me very nice but they just seemed to take a lot of care in making the meal. I live in SoCal and while I enjoy Chipotle here and the food tastes the same, for some reason here in SoCal they are EXTREMELY stingy with the food. I order the three soft tacos all the time and invariably one of the three is like the«runt» of the order. The person working will scoop up the chicken and divide it amongst the three. By the time they come to the third taco they only have a couple of chunks of chicken and God forbid they actually get another scoopful. Same with the cheese and sour cream. Again, I’m ranting about the ones in SoCal. But at this particular store in Washington, DC, they made the tacos PERFECTLY. They made them so nice and evenly, I ordered a second order of chicken soft tacos. The server actually made sure all three had equal and full amounts of chicken. And the same for the salsa, cheese and sour cream. All three were of the same size and content. Someone should reward the people who were working that night AND they should be an example for ALL Chipotle’s to follow. By the way, back in high school I worked in several fast food restaurants so I understand the owners want you to keep the portions to a minimum to keep food costs down. These people were not putting extra or excessive amounts. I’ve been going to Chipotle since 1999 and I remember when they would make them like they do in Washington, DC but it seems in other locations, specifically in SoCal you have to beg them to put a reasonable amount on the tacos and here in DC they just do it. Seriously, I would reward those people and use them for training in other stores.

Standard fare at standard chain of freshly made before your eyes burritos, bowls, tacos and fajitas. However, I think the layout is pretty neat — sinking down into the eatery makes it unique for a Chipotle. It is also a corner location in the heart of many other businesses, making sitting by the window quite entertaining. It’s convenient if you can get here and make an order in advance. The late evenings are pretty empty because downtown clears out of work folks, and well, the people interested in going out to eat are not really that interested in Chipotle. So, if you go later in the evening, much easier to get seating. However, with that said, the food can be less fresh in the evening. Still, it’s Chipotle, so, it’ll do.

Nice location, downstairs on the corner — you could zoom right past it if you’re not paying attention. Friendly staff — fast service, even when the line is long. Food is tasty & fresh —
