I first discovered Claudia as an Ashtanga and Rocket yoga teacher in the DC area. She has a calm, sweet, but strict presence about her, which brings out the best in my yoga practice. I was thrilled that she returned to DC after her travels to Asia — where she learned traditional Thai massage. I have had some bits and pieces of Thai massage over the years and my 90 minutes with Claudia was well worth it. Claudia gives great adjustments in yoga, so it is no surprise that her Thai massage is also wonderful. A different experience from the deep tissue work I usually go in for, but I left feeling balanced, light and flexible all over, with increased opening in my tight hips and shoulders.

I absolutely loved my thai massage session with Claudia a few weeks ago. I had never tried Thai yoga massage before and to be honest… I was a little nervous! Claudia, however, immediately put me at ease, explaining how the session would go and spending time initially to hear about any concerns, issues, or tensions in my body and I felt as though she was really, deeply listening. It was definitely different than any «traditional» type of massage I’d ever received but it was wonderfully different! I felt like every single part of my body had been gently stretched, gently coaxed open. When I left I felt like I was 10 feet tall and floating. It was an amazing experience and deeply restorative. I look forward to coming back for additional sessions!

One word: Ahhhh! Claudia’s energy was balanced and reassuring. Very steady and breath filled. My tight left side responded well to her approach. Can’t wait for our next session!

My session with Claudia was not only relaxing and cleansing, she opened up my lower back and relieved a lot of pain that has been building up. She has wonderful energy and takes great care to focus on where you need work. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for body work and as an alternative to a run of the mill massage.

My first session with Claudia was amazing. It had been years since my last Thai massage and I forgot how wonderful it is. Claudia listens to any physical issues you have and is very mindful of them during the session. She has great energy which is very important for this type of work because you really do have to have a certain level of trust. She will sit and speak with you after the session to get your feedback and provide her thoughts as well. It is clear that Claudia cares not only about what she does but also her clients. She is also a great yoga teacher and I’m glad she’s here in DC.

Claudia is wonderful! She is dedicated, very attentive to your needs, has reasonable prices and her home appointments make it very convenient. I don’t have to find a babysitter to get a massage.
Each time that I have seen Claudia, I have felt so much lighter and relaxed. I cannot recommend her more highly!

My session with Claudia was absolutely fantastic. Her calm, strong, meditative approach is thorough and empathetic… her touch profoundly caring. It is obvious she is fully focused on gently releasing tension within you throughout the entire session, even synchronising breath work with you. I found the experience to be truly restorative and healing, and can’t wait for my next session!

Claudia’s authentic training in Thailand was obvious from the first moment she began the session. She is methodical yet compassionate with her touch, lending a meditative quality to the massage. She is also very consistent from left side to right side, which is often one of my biggest complaints after a massage. With Claudia, each muscle group received equal attention. She was also able to identify places of tension and blockage, though we rarely spoke. I would highly recommend Claudia and look forward to getting another Thai massage from her!

Claudia is an incredibly gifted masseuse and teacher. A lifelong yoga practitioner, I am particular about who facilitates my energy work. Her touch made me feel comfortable and safe so that I was able to completely relax and enjoy the massage. I confidently recommend Claudia to all of my students seeking bodywork– she has a car, so she is able to come to your home!

Claudia is a trained and talented professional massage therapist, who also clearly has an innate gift! She is highly communicative and very responsive to your needs and your body. My massage experience was both relaxing and enjoyable, but also felt like a session that did a lot of needed work on my body. While I was already familiar with and confident in her skills as an Ashtanga yoga instructor from being a student in her class (where she always provides great assists) I was delighted to experience her Thai massage practice recently as well and highly recommend her for your body work needs!
