I have been going back and forth with «tickets» on my account for FOUR MONTHS because they had my SSN under an employer account. I missed open enrollment because of this issue and the inability for them to just delete my account and start fresh (or come up with their own viable solution). Just got off the phone again and to no surprise, was told all they can do is submit another ticket, but will «personally» call me back. I have been told this four times now and that personal call back does not happen for 3 – 4 weeks. I am looking for individual insurance because I work at a startup (and came from one). Is there any other way to get individual coverage!!!

Terrible communication between this site and the insurance company. My coverage (which I am already paying for) was supposed to start the beginning of the month. It is now towards the end of the month and I have not received information on my account. They gave me a link to sign into an online account but it has not been processed there either. I am now three weeks late on medication and can’t go to see a doctor because I have no proof of health insurance. I do not recommend them.

Had a terrible time with them from 2014 to 2015. Spent countless number of hours trying to fix a problem between them and Kaiser. I am so glad I moved out of the DC system–

Criminally incompetent. I have spent countless hours dealing with DC Health Link (at least 48 over the past year, no joke). In 2015 they provided my insurance with the wrong address so I never received any bills and my insurance unilaterally cancelled my policy without notice. Despite repeated attempts to enroll in new coverage with DC Health Link, they never succeeded.
Determined to not be without coverage (and forced into neglecting my health!) in 2016 I signed up in the first week of open enrollment back in November 2015. Made my first payment, got my card. No more bills came. So I called my insurance and lo and behold they have screwed up yet again and I’m about to be denied coverage again.
Honestly, I’m contemplating a civil suit.

After spending about 10 hours on the phone with multiple customer service representatives over the course of a month, they determined that they could not help me change my insurance. The customer service representatives do not understand the process themselves – better training and more integrated systems would have saved me a lot of time and headache.
