Great experience with my tattoo removal treatment. I had a treatment done in the past at another office and this place exceeded my expectations. The tech was knowledgeable and professional and helped to make what is usually a very painful and stressful process smooth and relaxed.
They quoted me a cheaper price on the phone and even though my tattoo measured a tad bigger in person, they honored the quoted price. I bought a package from them and will be continuing with my treatments at this office.

So far, two weeks post procedure, I’m healing nicely and am seeing results. Dr. Verano and his staff are friendly, efficient, and very professional. The facility is top notch. Dr. Verano is a perfectionist which is fantastic as he takes the time to get the best possible results!

Nice facility and staff were flexible about rescheduling when I arrived late to my first appointment. Alma laser was not too painful, though this was a refresh, not a first hair removal treatment in that area. The person who did the hair removal had three years of experience. It has been less than a week since my first treatment so I can’t rate the length of time before hair grows back – otherwise I’d rate the place five stars.

I had purchased a Groupon for services and hadn’t read any reviews previously. Appointments are easy to make (only opened Monday — Friday), the office is clean, and the staff are polite. The technician explained everything to my satisfaction and has a gentle, warm, and calming demeanor. I would recommend the office and will be returning for additional procedures.

I purchased a Groupon for several tattoo removal sessions and so far so good. I went in for my first session and there were some issues with their scheduling, however they are compensating me for the inconvenience and are making things right. My first treatment was pretty painless and the technician was nice and personable. I’ll update my review after a few more sessions. I look forward to continue coming to see them for my sessions. :)

I came here initially from a groupon but because it’s so professional — with excellent results, I continue to go back. Appointments are quick and easy to make, always on time, and usually finish earlier than anticipated. While the nature of laser hair removal means there will be some pain, the technician is very good and calming. Somehow she makes it as relaxing as possible — without any awkwardness. The facilities are very clean and quiet as well. Absolutely would recommend this place! Make sure you check groupon as they run lots of specials!

As of August, 2015, DR Varano has been sued for medical malpractice in state of MD. His Photo-​facial left patient permanent scar on the face and disfigurement of the face.
I went to this place once — This is a really terrible business. They put out a LOT of coupons on Living Social and Groupon and like the others who made the mistake of buying those coupons thinking we were getting a great deal I had a disappointing experience. I got the IPL photo facial which is probably a scam. It does nothing. What’s worse is that it burned me and left a nice new scar near my lip. I had a bad feeling about them from the start but I didn’t want to lose the $ 160 I’d given them. Now I’d pay twice that to have this scar removed! I hope others can learn from my experience and never, ever patronize this place, no matter how cheap their coupons may be!
P. S. To find out if any malpractice lawsuits have been filed against a physician, call the county clerk’s office where he or she practices, as well as the state medical licensing board and the state insurance department (you can ask the latter if any claims are on record for the doctor).

I like Dr. Drew Varano a lot. I’ve been to him many times over the years. He is generous and has given me payment plans. Most doctors will not help you if you don’t front the cash.
Dr. Varano performed my laser lipo procedure. The result was disfiguring. He removed so much fat, my skin is resting on my muscle. I researched the issue, risks, complications and taking that into account, the procedure was performed incorrectly. There should be enough subcutaneous fat left over so that the skin is not resting on muscle and the fat closest to the skin should be left intact to avoid the common signs of lipo. No doctor can predict scarring, skin problems, etc., but when the procedure is performed correctly the result may be imperfect and require revision but it will not be disfiguring.
The lesson is to stop the nonsense, you are fine the way you are. I wish I had known that back then.

I purchased the laser hair removal Groupon. I am very happy with the results. The office is very nice and clean. I was seen right on time and finished quickly. The staff was professional. I like the online booking system as well — just make sure to cancel more than 24 hours or you will be charged. I do understand this — they run on time! It’s great to know I can come in for a treatment on time and be done and back to life quickly!

So far so good! Purchased a package of tattoo removal treatments. The office is clean and offers you everything you need. They were fast and thorough. I am looking forward to the rest of the treatments here and am also considering other treatments that are offered.

I purchased a laser hair removal package for my husband at Christmas time for the back of his neck. He raved about his experience with Dr. Varano and his staff so I am now a client and purchased a package for myself! I would recommend MCE to all my friends and family. I plan on purchasing a package for my mother (who lives in Connecticut) for when she comes down to visit, because of the incredible service and experience that I had.
