Came here for Embassy Day… I was in and out within two seconds. There was a strong odor from a gas leak. The volunteer said it was fine. Fact is, that odor could have been the death of me. Sorry, Mozambique, I will be visiting your country any time soon.

I accidentally thought this was an information center for the Passport to DC embassy tour and stepped inside to pick up a brochure and ask questions. As I entered, I smelled a gas leak and it wasn’t something that I whiffed. I’m absolutely, 100% certain that this was not some kind of incense. If someone lit a match there, it was enough to blow the whole building. That’s how bad it was. Surprisingly enough, I was reassured by the door attendant that everything was ok. Really? A gas leak is ok? I think not. As I was leaving, I was doing whatever I could to convince others not to go in. Please embassy get your act together! This is dangerous!
