Estrellitas Child Development Center

We have had our son at Estrellitas for about 4 months now and I have to say that we are extremely happy. I went back to work when he was 4 months. We wanted a Spanish immersion site and he was on the waiting list for several. I had placed him on many of the lists when I was pregnant. We started in a local center while waiting for him to move up on the list of some of the others. A colleague told me about Estrellitas, which was just opening at the time. I have to say that I am so grateful for that referral. Marilyn and her staff are extremely loving and vigilant over the children, it is almost like they are each her own. There is yoga and Zumbini for the children weekly, even for the babies if you can believe that. The staff communicates well with the parents. Our daily reports are illustrative of their day with phrases like, «We explored the trees today» or «We saw the snow in its different phases». Our son is happy and gets along well with the other children. I can remember the first day that we dropped him off there, feeling that anxiety that all moms feel when leaving their child with someone for the first time. Not two hours later, Marilyn texted me pictures of him playing and smiling with the other kids. I was overjoyed and able to exhale. She continues to send pictures and small videos to the Google group that the parents participate in. It helps us to feel like we are there with our kids during these special times when we cannot be. It is small touches like this that cause me to give this place my highest recommendation.
