I always regret trying to use this FedEx shop. Between the rude staff and long lines (really, is it so complicated?), it’s better to walk the 3 blocks to the ups store

I barely have the words to describe the gross incompetence of the staff here. I came in with a pre-​packaged and paid stamped package for them to ship.
I only wanted to drop it off there and not a box so I could have a receipt. They were literally unable to scan the package, manually enter the tracking, or do anything of the sort. They couldn’t even reprint the label and basically told me I would have to call a 1800 number (after wasting 30 minutes). I am absolutely astounded by this. I would recommend literally going to any other FedEx in the District.

I recently needed to print and fax some docs ASAP and had not set up my printer at home. I stopped in here late on a Sunday evening and was able to easily take care of printing and faxing the docs. They have instructions set up for everything and I was able to complete all my tasks with ease! I would definitely return if I needed to!

Understaffed, computers freeze up, not enough staff to manage or even refill paper machines. Avoid it if you can. Expect lines and slow service.

The man at the front desk didn’t get to me until I was there for almost 20 minutes. He had a customer on speaker phone when he finally got to me then was talking to both of us at the same time which was very annoying. He then told me to wait and helped a different customer and by then I was there for maybe 45 minutes. This place sucks, go to a different one. I went to the one in Alexandria and they were much better!

Stopped by before work one morning to mail a package (I have done so in the past and was disappointed in customer satisfaction). I had a simple package to mail and the employee, Jennifer, was the same clerk that I had last time. What a horrible way to start your day! She was just as miserable as she was the first time, was rude by barking at me when I didn’t know which one to do. She talked down to me (for not knowing the difference between FedEx First, Priority, or Standard when all I wanted was whatever would be cheapest). Jennifer seriously needs to work on her skills with customer service, as they we just as bad as they were 6 months ago. In addition, I saw on her nametag that she has been with FedEx since 1989! That is an embarrassment to the company for keeping miserable people like her around so long.

I use this Fedex about twice a month to drop off packages to mail. It tends to be a busy shop, but as soon as someone is available to help me at the shipping counter they are there. Everyone I have encountered has been very polite, helpful, and professional.
Recently, a few employees helped me track down a tracking number on an important shipment that I dropped off when their shipping counter was temporarily down. I am grateful for the professional, helpful customer service I encountered over the phone with them!

I went there on Saturday to simply buy packing boxes/​supplies and was treated to a floor show that reminded me of the old Washington of 25 years ago — Southern efficiency, Northern hospitality.
After waiting for 20 minutes while the staff alternately ignored me and fought with an old African American customer over their «disrespectful behavior» to the customers, namely him, I was finally told that they didn’t have the size box I was trying to buy.
Not sure how this place makes any money.

After having breafast around the courner. Me and my brother when to pick up a package from Fedex that us to been Kinkos copy and package delivery. Great location for a Fedex store. Starbucks store near by. Free Wif and quick service. All you need for a busness an a person to pickup there package from so I don’t have to go out to there hub delivery.
One thing bad about this location store. No restroom. They told me I have to use the Starbucks restroom or one of the resturants.

Unfortunately this is the most convenient office to my home but it always critically understaffed, the staff is rude and frankly racist.

This location has the best staff. The assistant manager Devon provides quick and polite service. They deserve a raise I say! I am witness, the staff here know how to multi-​task well. I mean I am impressed each visit.

The people here were incredibly patient with me and in helping me obtain my package.
Originally, I ordered a package delivered to my apartment.
Then, I redirected it to this FedEx location.
The online tracking information, this FedEx location, and the FedEx customer service center elsewhere that I telephoned all had different information regarding the location of my package and when it should be arriving at this location.
My package was upwards of $ 200.
Needless to say I was quite frustrated and flipping out.
Thankfully, I kept my sanity because the employees here helped me throughout the entire process: they told me who to call, took down my number, were patient and remained helpful despite my visiting and calling this FedEx about 5 times in a two-​day period.

I wish I could give them zero stars. Rudest employees ever. People who simply do not deserve a job, it’s that bad.

Mixed bag.
Pros: 1) It’s great to be able to print, scan, etc, when you need to, in a pinch. 2) Clean, spacious, air-​conditioned. 3) Helpful staff.
Con: I just feel like I’ve been robbed of my money every time I come to any FedEx Office, because the prices are so high.

The only good things about this place is the location and the hours.
Otherwise, all the negative comments are spot on. I’ve been going here for many years, and I do so because I run a small business. My advice? If you have basic work, like copying or faxing, you should be okay — provided you do all the work yourself, you don’t need any assistance whatsoever, and the machines are in reasonably good working order. Sometimes there is only one copier machine working, and if there is a line, then just come back later. There isn’t any point is waiting because the staff isn’t there to fix the jams or whatever.
IF you need to use their computers for scanning or other things, the instructions are clear as mud. It took me several times to figure it out because the instructions are written so poorly, and it’s fairly complicated. Do not bother asking the staff for help, as they will give you absolutely none.
Do not use the counter service for anything other than paying for merchandise. Do not use their copying services for any reason at all. No matter how small your job, they will tell you it won’t be ready for another day or two. They never have any staff actually making copies.
Do not expect any friendly advice or help. I can’t tell you how many times I have gone there and asked a question, and the staff person just says nothing — not even an acknowledgement that you just asked a question. They walk away, and you don’t know if they are going to do something for you, help another person, go to the bathroom or what. It’s like you are talking to mummies — they just stand there motionless and wordless and you wonder if they are going to explode or something. It’s the oddess thing you will ever experience in retail.
Eventually, they meander back and say in a very bored way that either they can’t do the request, it will take much longer than you expected, or it will cost much more than you hoped. You know that that’s the end of that, and that there is nothing more you can say. So you just leave.
There is one woman who is nice and friendly — I think she is the owner or a manager or something. However, the rest of the staff treats you like a problem they wish would disappear.

Their overall rating is not very high, but it gets 5 stars from me. In particular, I was pleasantly surprised with the caliber of the associate helping me today.
Ichiro was respectful, knowledgeable, kind, and in short, highly professional.
The product, a printing of several posters, looked great and was completed on time.

Come here a few times, just for basic copies. Never had too much trouble. They can be a little slow at times. But, one time, a woman was so nice. I had just run out of ink in my printer at home & needed only one copy. She politely filled my order and then let me have the copy for free! It’s only happened once, but it was quite a surprise when it did.
Otherwise, they have always done the copies well. But, as some reviews have noted, there could be a bit of improvement on employee morale & attitude. I haven’t had the nightmarish issues others have, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Unbelievable. One of the worst retail experiences of my life. If you stop reading now, the takeaway is DO NOT GO HERE.
11:18AM I walk in. There’s one person being «helped» and it looks like they’re almost finished.
I diligently fill out my Ground Shipping forms and select packaging. I’m sending a dress shirt to CA and a bracelet to OH, both eBay buyers.
When I step up to the plate I’m roundly chastised for my packaging selection. Does a dress shirt need bubble packaging? Probably not, but Ms. Thing behind the counter isn’t having any of it.
40 minutes later and I’m finally done. Yes, 40 minutes. And something to the tune of $ 30.
I can feel my blood pressure rising as I type so I’ll wrap it up. Suffice it to say, if you have ANY alternative you need to bypass this horrid location.

My order was due at 4pm. I arrived for pickup at 6pm and the guy responsible for my order told me «5 minutes». He then proceeded to spend 45 minutes chatting and smoking in front of the store. Another guy agreed to take over my order, but asked me to sort my presentations for him so that he didn’t have to separate each copy. He finally bound each each copy (6 copies), but took 30 minutes to do it.

Well this location has a scanner so it gets an extra star for that! I actually first went to the Fed Ex near the Bank of America on 2^nd and Pennsylvania and they didn’t have a scanner so I had to walk over to this place.
So I’m writing this review if you need to scan something. They have only one scanner and it charges $ 0.40 a minute. Not bad if the software is quick but it’s pretty slow and you’ll likely use 3 – 5 minutes. Plus with most things that I scan, I tend to use email to save the pdfs. The Internet connection is also slow and will likely add another 5 minutes or so, which means you’re going to end up paying close to $ 5 just to scan and email something unless you’re smart and carry a flash drive with you to avoid getting on the Internet!
All in all, it’s convenient and the self service stations are pretty user friendly. Only wish I didn’t shell out over $ 6 for scanning 5 things, that kind of blowed!
