FIT 360 DC

I first heard about Brian and Fit360 last year, but personal circumstances kept me from training. I started personal training with Brian in February in preparation for a long run in April. It had been over 2 years since I’d done this kind of distance, and I knew I’d need a kick in the butt (and core) in order to complete the run successfully. Brian’s training sessions have been spot-​on with my goals. Within a few weeks of training, I noticed a huge improvement on my distance running. I am looking forward to trying some of the classes!

I am in LOVE with this place. I’m moving to NYC, and as I said to my husband, the thing I’ll miss the most about our lives in D.C. is Fit 360 and Brian’s classes.
I only ever came here through Classpass (so just 3x/​month), and the only reason I never joined was because I knew I’d be moving shortly and didn’t want to risk committing to the 6 month package.
I cannot explain how much I’ll miss coming to classes here — Brian challenges you, but always with reasonable expectations.
If you’re on the fence — just come. You will not regret it. You’ll walk out tired, sweaty and a little sore, but it will feel SO, SO good.

My sister goes here five days a week (a five star review in itself) and dragged my lazy out-​of-​shape self to FIT 360. For someone like me who exercises rarely, working out with Brian was a much needed kick in the butt. He uses your own body and keep the intervals fast and intense. I was definitely sore the next day, and sticking with his workouts can really change your body both asthetically and athletically. They also go by quickly!
He really tailors workouts to you — This is great for people with injuries, special concerns, athletes, etc. I really like that Brian doesn’t jump on crazy bandwagon trends or make you feel like you shouldn’t be there if you aren’t in perfect shape. Exercise is for your mind and body and he’s more than happy to meet you where you are and work with your goals. If you are an athlete and want to really push your body, this is the place for you. If you want to start from zero and get in shape, this is also the place for you. That’s what makes this gym really special.
Another great thing about Brian is that he is kind and upbeat without being annoying, and intense without yelling or saying horrible things. He is great at adjusting to different levels of fitness and will adapt to different injuries.
I would definitely recommend trying his small group classes out. They are more affordable than a one on one personal trainer with better results.

I love Brian’s new space! And well, I adore Brian even more. I’ve been training with him for 2+ years. His focus is ensuring a good work out, making sure we are doing things the right way (kettle bells, weights, etc.), and having fun while doing it all. I’m mostly with Brian (and Sydney) in the early mornings b/​c I have other family obligations at night. Thumbs up! You should check it out. No pretenses here — which is what I like but a fantastic work out.

This is one of my favorite exercise studios in the entire district. Hands down.
Brian is an enthusiastic yet no-​nonsense trainer that always leaves me feeling accomplished and inspired to come back. He consistently emphasizes the importance of proper form, which means I never feel like I’m risking injury, even when I’m pushing myself. His classes have allowed me to develop not only an increased level of fitness but also a degree of athletic skill that keeps me engaged and motivated to practice.
The classes here really are above and beyond what you are going to find at the typical do-​everything fitness center. If you want add intention your fitness practice while concurrently joining a supportive, tight-​knit, community-​focused environment, I suggest you give Fit 360 DC a try. I doubt you’ll regret it.

I joined Fit 360 about 6 months ago after the gym I’d been going to closed. I was looking for fun and challenging classes that I’d actually look forward to going to, and I definitely found that here! Brian is great, he really takes the time to get to know each student and their fitness goals, and in every class he makes sure you are doing each exercise with proper form and technique.
I really enjoy the kettle bell based classes, and I’m looking forward to trying the new classes he’s added since moving into the new space. Brian and the other trainers tailor each class to the students in it, so you’ll always be challenged. I also really like that you get the option of using the gym at your own convenience, 24/​7, if you can’t make it to class that day (although I prefer having someone tell me what to do during my workouts!)
Plus, everyone who comes here is friendly and supportive, making for a great environment. No matter your current fitness level, you’ll feel welcome at Fit 360!

I switched to Fit 360 9 months ago, after being a member of a handful of «brand name» gyms over the past 20 years. Brian’s philosophy and approach to physical and mental fitness rises above the work-​out fads of the moment. He has created a gym where you can increase your fitness level and become stronger in a place that is neither intimidating or trendy. The new FIT 360 location really highlights the Brian’s personal vision and is a testament to his past, present and future success. The diversity of the clientele and the staff make FIT 360 feel like a special neighborhood place, where you want to go and hang out. The personal training is terrific and challenging, and incredibly inventive. The variety of equipment and machines guarantees the endless workout possibilities. Definitely try out this gym — it’s the best in the city.

I’ve known Brian since way back at Stroga, and although I wasn’t as consistent with my workouts due to my travel schedule, Brian always is. I’ve brought friends of all body types and fitness levels over the years to his classes, and everyone has walked away feeling satisfied… And sore! Brian is passionate about training and the people he trains, and the small class size really means you begin to form a community with the other people in the class like I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Brian’s wide experience means the workouts are never the same, and your body remains surprised after each workout. The new space looks amazing, and I can’t wait to come back through town and get my butt kicked again!

My girlfriend and I have been training with Brian in his small group classes since his previous studio elsewhere in Mt. Pleasant, and I have to say, the experience so far has been great, and even better now in the new studio space. In other words, there are several good reasons why I trek all the way across the city to train with him via Classpass.
Most importantly, my positive review has to do with Brian himself — he is really a welcoming, positive, yet challenging trainer and ideal for a range of fitness experience levels, particularly novices. He really does strike a good balance between being friendly and motivating.
Secondly, his classes — they are consistently varied and challenging, with some latitude for making it extra challenging if one so chooses. They usually consist of various forms of kettle bell work, weight balls, TRX, equalizer bars, and Bosu balls, so are particularly good for core work and toning.
Finally, his new studio — simply put, it’s fantastic, and a considerable improvement on his last space. The space is relatively open and features a bevy of new equipment, including the aforementioned weight balls and TRX, a treadmill, several beautiful squat racks, sufficient bar, plate, and dumbbell weights, and a couple other gleaming resistance machines that I’m eyeing. I only go for the small group classes, but I would use it for lifting if a lived nearby.
I write few Unilocal reviews, but this place deserves every star available. Nice job Brian.
