zoo we mama! this is some good stuff. Its cheap and the options are endless. I like to get a plain flavored yogurt and some exciting topping, like gummy worms! Overall, best froyo place in all of the DMV.

Really great location but IMO, they need to work on their topping choices. I really was jonesin’ for some cookie dough bites to enhance my cookies and cream yogurt but alas to no avail! I think Yogi Castle offers a wider variety of toppings in general, however FroZenYo did have a nutella topping that was perfectly crunchy and a great add-​in to my yogurt. They have a decent amount of flavor offerings-​recently I’ve had cookies and cream, dulce de leche, and chocolate– and some that I have rarely seen at other places (think: pistachio). They have both indoor and outdoor seating too. You really can’t go wrong with frozen yogurt so FroZenYo gets two thumbs up from me!

16 flavors of froyo and decent amount of toppings. Hot fudge and caramel are free after you pay. They also have waffle cones! Sometimes the froyo came out a bit watery though…

Great location, nice décor, tiny inside, though. Lots of flavors and toppings, and they also have hot fudge and caramel near the door on your way out, gratis. I don’t have dairy often, but on a hot evening, froyo hits the spot.

The frozen yogurt is fresh, they have a lot of flavor options, as well as fresh toppings! The place is clean and the staff is nice. Be careful – the yogurt comes out pretty fast!

YO YO YO I WANT MY FROZENYO!!!
Packed with a variety of flavors and toppings and right near the Colombia heights metro station, FROZENYO is the way to goo!
If you like super sweet, get the watermelon, mango, or tart. If you like more thick and creamy, get the strawberry or peanut butter. I am personally indifferent to their cake batter, but overall most of their flavors are yummy and can’t really complain.
The topping bar is always clean for the most part and the fruits are usually fresh! I wish they had popping boba, and then we are talking!
They also don’t have sample cups, so you have to just try a flavor from the cup you are going to purchase. I found that a little weird, but you might as well sample everything in that case haha.

Convenient location. Can watch the kids play nearby when enjoying the froyo. Great place to walk around on a nice day. Favorite flavors are cheesecake and tart.

Great selections in the topping bar! I piled on the apple pie and was loving it! WHO KNEW! I’ve never seen some of these options in other places and it was great.

FroZenYo is awesome. It is cheap. If you fill your cup up completely and it is more than $ 8, ask them to re-​zero the scale, because it is wrong. There are some reviews saying that they got watery frozen yogurt: you got the first of the batch, so just dump it out.
Tons of flavors, tons of topping (more than anywhere else by a long stretch), and tons of deliciousness.

A nice treat to escape the warmer temperatures. One of the pitfalls is easily spending more than I should at a place like this. One of my other dislikes is the lack of toppings at FroZenYo compared to other chains.
I noticed water has gone up to $ 0.48/bottle. This was true on Sunday at this location and on Tuesday in Chinatown. Still, bottled water under $ 1 is A-​OK with me.
By my count, there are easily 16 — 24 flavors at any given time. On Sunday, I found the original tart a little too tart for me but balanced it out with my chunks of brownies, which are cut generously.

Their froyo is so good. Not icey like lots of places! They even have vanilla frozen custard! However, their true gem is their hot fudge. SO GOOD. And, it’s free! As far as froyo goes, this is a decent option.

Love this place. Self-​serve frozen yogurt with a ton of flavors, including greek yogurt. You pay by weight and it seems cheaper than Sweet Green and Pinkberry for similar amounts. I recommend the tart, the mind/​chocolate together, or greek yogurt. Has outdoor tables, but if they’re full, you can sit in the pedestrian square just outside the shop.
Bonus– has the cheapest bottled water sold outside of grocery stores. Was $ 0.29 last time I checked.

Self serve Frozen Yogurt, how bad is that?!
Pick your flavors, pick your toppings, pay by the ounce and add free hot chocolate /​caramel. Simple. Easy. Delicious.
Favorite combinations include:
* Cheesecake yogurt with graham cracker crumbs
* Pistachio yogurt with white chocolate chips (and sometimes a few shaved almonds)
* Red Velvet yogurt
* Plain yogurt with fresh strawberries, blueberries and chocolate chips.
The possibilities are endless. What will you do?

I had a decent froyo at this location. The fruit toppings are fresh and delicious. I was crazy about the oreo and reeses chunks! I was tempted to try the apple pie but that’s a little over-​kill. The cookies and cream flavor was my favorite flavor, followed by mango.
I did think the fruit flavors could use a boost (I thought they were relatively bland and not very creamy). The worst of the 5 I tried was watermelon; that tasted like a freezie pop.

Oh my gaw. I’d come back here any day. I tried it for the first time today. This is some good froyo.
A huge reason why I like this place is because the yogurt here is fat free, sugar free, and/​or non-​dairy. I tried most of the 14 or so flavors and my favorites are cookies n cream and pumpkin pie. And don’t forget the toppings. various fruits and nuts, molchi, pies, chocolates, candies, hot caramel/​fudge, etc.
It’s self served so you can try different flavors from your own cup. The cost is determined by WEIGHT. I’d say about $ 5 – 6, if you don’t go crazy with the serving size of the heavier toppings.
Shoooot, good stuff. If you’re in the Columbia Heights area for lunch/​dinner or just chillin, get some of this froyo on them tongues and enjoy.

Someone can feel free to correct this, but this place just seems ridiculously expensive.
I have gone here twice in a row and left both times sticker shocked.
I filled one of the things a bit over the rim and they charged me over $ 8… Err… Eight dollars?! That buys you more than a complete meal at other places and definitely a fancier dessert at a ton of places.
I don’t get it — I might need to compare and see why this place seems so overpriced to me. I am seeing other people saying $ 5 and $ 6 for a their cups but I just got gouged on mine.

On a rare occasion I get dragged to DC by various people, today it was my oldest sister. We went to Thai tanic II and then came here for dessert.
It’s your average Fro yo at about $ 5 for a regular sized cup. They seem to only have 1 size cup. But a HUGE amount of different flavors. Most places you get maybe 6 or 8 choices, I can’t remember how many there were here but there were a lot!
I got Mint chocolate chip, Mango, and Tart froyo with Mango, Blackberries, Strawberries, and chocolate chips as toppings.
The only big turn off was that when i was taking pictures of the place, one of the workers at the back was kind of rude when he was telling me not to take pictures. Which was weird because the cashier saw me take a picture and didn’t say anything. =(He’s the reason that I gave this place only 3 stars, because service is a big part of quality…

FroZen Yo is a standard self-​serve froyo establishment located in Columbia Heights. Lots of toppings, and LOTS of flavors of froyo. What is there not to like?
Across the street from Target makes it hard to pass after an exhausting shopping trip. Outside seating is great for people watching.
Perfect for families or large groups. Everyone can get EXACTLY what they want. Just don’t get greedy. You will pay for it at the register.

Been back 10 times, tastes great with an excellent supply of toppings.
Tried the new place around the corner (Tasty D-​lite) tonight and got a huge sticker shock. $ 11.50 for what would usually cost $ 6 at FroZenYo. Forgive me my love, I will never stray again!
