This place is a small sushi bar inside of the Old Post Office Pavillion on the corner of 12th and Pennsylvania Ave. It’s about 4 blocks from the White House on the bottom floor of the Old Post Office(where the food court is). This sushi bar has 3 stools, but there’s additional food court seating nearby. The sushi here is… not great. It brings back memories of the many airport sushi bars that I’ve been to while on vacation or business trips — except this sushi bar doesn’t have the advantage of being sentimentally attached to a happy vacation or work trip to the Bahamas. I’m not generally a «negative attitude» person… but this was either the worst sushi that I’ve ever had — or it was tied for last place with that sushi bar in Miami airport, where the sushi«chef» was a Cuban-American that didn’t speak english, and seemed to learn how to make sushi by following instructions on the back of a pair of disposable chopsticks. On a positive note — it’s great to have a sushi option in the food court of this really cool building.
