I waited to write a review until I’ve been here at least a month. So far I’ve had a wonderful experience, the leasing office staff were extremely helpful(especially Clifton). The front desk staff ladies are always extremely nice and very helpful, especially when you have packages etc. or need to reserve the loading dock/freight elevator. Pros: Close to the metro, nice apartment layouts, decent gym, good community spaces with everything always very clean. Fun dog park area that is fenced in and has a little fire hydrant. Bike storage area with pumps etc. for use in the basement. Open Floor plans, W/D in walk-in closet, and decent amount of storage in unit. Building staff are extremely helpful and nice. Cons: It seems like one elevator has challenges staying operational. The staff work to get it back online, but it does seem to have frequent issues. In bedroom remote controlled ceiling fans were an initial selling point, but each unit appears to be controlled on the same frequency. Which means as you’re going to bed if you turn on the fan, turn-off the light, and your neighbor turns on their light… bing your light comes on. So it can be a battle between units, which is unfortunate.

I’ve been living at the Lex for 2 months now and I love it especially the amenities the community room, and the rooftop are great. Leasing staff is great and maintenance is quick with responding. Some of the concierge staff is nice with the exception of the red head Nicole she’s very rude, talks very loud, and doesn’t listen. I had a package that was signed by her that she could not find and blamed it on UPS delivering it to the sister building the Leo across the street. When I explained to her that it was signed by her she completely denied it, refused to look for it, and asked if there was anything else she could help me with.
