Had to leave after they failed my 7 minutes to initial contact test. Not busy, just no service.

Had the fried chicken over mashed potatoes. Very tasty. Good, attentive service. Good beer selection. Apple crisp for dessert was also quite good.

Food is ok, overpriced for what it is. Drinks are good. I would highly recommend the Founder’s Punch! It’s fun to watch the drink turn pink!

Got to town around noon and stopped in for lunch after someone had highly recommended it and it was a great choice! Excellent waitress. Always checking on us. Not checking like everything you have food in your mouth checking! Food was great too! So when in DC, stop in anytime and try it out!

This was a nice restaurant to take some clients to while we were in town. The neighborhood is trendy with a lot of energy and the restaurant itself has higher quality food without being too formal, which often makes customers feel uncomfortable. Our server was Shanti and I am very appreciative that she was so diligent in checking for food allergies prior to taking the first order.

The name is deceptive. It is not a college bar, but a place with a good brunch better diner and respectable happy hour. The wings, good sauce, crispy, what else is there.

Tried this place again tonight with a group of friends. Service seriously is bad. I expect that from DC but this place is far worse. Food is simple but with«not simple prices». My salmon with tiny 4 asparagus and carrots was $ 22.50. After slitting four way my simple and tasteless dinner was $ 45 with a glass of wine. Worse though is service. This time we got there at 8:30 and sat in main restaurant as it wasn’t busy at all, but yet waiter found a way to be condescending. I can say I tried this place twice. We won’t be coming back.

This place is a find, you will think it is way underrated when you check it out. The best Ceasar I have Ever had(grilled, just right anchovy-ness, crunch yummy goodness) and crane cakes with some kind of totally new and interesting slaw-guac combo. Nice atmosphere, great service. Can’t imagine what more you could need.

Wow I must say I really enjoyed this place great ambience and some of the most delicious food in they city… Today I stopped by for brunch and had the French toast Sticks for starters(BEST I EVERHAD) then I ordered the crab cake Benedict and that creamy butter they put on the side so delicious… I’m definitely curious to see what they are like on a typical week day… I really enjoyed this place

I came here with my family during a recent trip to the DC area. There were about 8 of us and I felt the server did a great job of helping us order and enjoy our meal. I had the Crab Cakes because… well, if you can’t get good crab cakes on the eastern seaboard, where can you? They were very good. Their signature burgers were a hit with several people in our party… all came with a mound of fries. My brother and his wife shared the Spinach and Goat Cheese salad and seemed to really love it. I usually don’t partake in the bread basket but they served the bread with a cilantro butter that was fantastic.

Only stopped in for a quick happy hour drink on the sidewalk patio, so can’t give too much of a review. The happy hour pricing for their(4) wine options was $ 4.50– so was already a winner in our book. My friend’s husband didn’t feel the beer options were really happy hour priced($ 6) but we only stayed for one drink so no worries there. They seem to have ample seating space inside, and their outdoor sidewalk also accommodates quite a bit of people in my opinion. Also, they allow dogs on the patio, which was important for and DC enthusiast. It’s directly across from the Whole Foods so great people watching too.

A pub that’s a step up. The atmosphere is pub and sports bar with an outside seating area. The burgers are HUGE! Everyone loved the Mac n cheese. Go there hungry and order a burger — you will roll away happy!

I came here this afternoon for lunch with a few coworkers. The food was quite good, but what was really five-star was the service. Our group had like eight different substitution requests and a lot of questions, and the waiter didn’t begrudge us a thing. Really nice guy. On the food, though: we had the buffalo shrimp and the crispy adobo rolls. The adobo rolls were kind of like fancy taquitos, and they came with a whipped avocado dipping sauce. The buffalo shrimp were particularly good; to say they were shrimp doused in buffalo sauce and blue cheese might be accurate, but doesn’t really do them justice. For our entrees, I got the lamb burger with grain mustard potato salad(instead of fries). It was good, not the best lamb I’ve ever had but a solid sandwich. I think next time I’d get the chorizo burger, which also sounded good. Some of my coworkers got the salmon which they all really liked, and one got the shrimp po’ boy which she enjoyed as well. For dessert, some of us shared the apple crisp and the mango key lime pie — I didn’t try either since I was stuffed from the great appetizers and my burger, but they looked very good.

Enjoyed a lovely late lunch and also dinner at Logan Tavern. Great casual ambience and my hubby loved watching his team on the nearby TV(and it wasn’t intrusive, but quite discreet). Had excellent food here — my bacon cheddar avocado burger and sautéed spinach were delicious and Mike had the boneless southern fried chicken and divine mashed potatoes — incredibly delicious! Same meal tonight — it was that good! And the chocolate cake was rich, delightful and perfectly balanced w the decadent vanilla bean ice cream. Come early as we did, and get in and out easily — busy later in the evening. Shout to superb service from Jay and Noël. Will return when we are in DC again.

I came here a few times with friends. It is next to one of the popular bars where we go frequently. As a result, Logan tavern is a stop where we grab a bite before we start our night. I usually go there during weekend. Most of the time it won’t take that long to get a table if you come around 7ish. It is pretty spacious considering it is in DC. They have a bar area where you get happy hour specials from 4 – 7 daily. They also have tables/room that can accommodate large group. When the weather is good, outside patio is another option for people watching. Service is always good here. The waitresses here are all very friendly and attentive. They take care of you and make sure everything is fine. Speaking of the food, it seems every time I came, I came in a hurry. As a result, I always get something simple. I tried their turkey burger, wings, roast beef sandwich and some other items. The burgers are definitely a hit(both turkey and beef). They are flavorful and juicy, especially for turkey burger which is easily done on the dry side. The side salad comes with the burger is very tasty. Simple yet refreshing. I would come and visit again for other dishes.

Logan Tavern has been one of our go-to restaurants for a few years now, but we fell in love with it all over again last week! We came in during their Happy Hour(which is daily from 4pm-7pm, but you have to sit at the bar, a high-top table, or outside in order to partake in the happy hour specials). We were able to find a high-top table near the window and our server, Cassie, came over to greet us shortly after. Cassie is great! She really knows the menu and is able to provide great suggestions if you’re not sure what you want. We ordered the Truffle Fries(a new item to us) which were really good! I ordered the Buffalo Shrimp(this is the main reason I come here… they are amazing!) and the Baby Wedge Salad(which is not very«baby» at all). My meal was delicious! My husband ordered the Buffalo Wings and a Baby Wedge as well and he enjoyed his meal too! We decided to try dessert since some of the items were new… I ordered the Salted Caramel Sundae(I have had an insatiable desire for salted caramel ever since!!) and my husband ordered the Red Velvet Cheesecake(this was rich and tasted like red velvet while also tasting like cheesecake). Logan Tavern will remain one of our favorites as long as they keep doing what they’re doing! We will probably be going back during happy hour again pretty soon!

This, Commissary, And Pig are(I believe) owned by the same group. Very attractive interior here — hip menu. I had a great lamb burger and although I love tzatziki, I withheld it. Sautéed spinach made a great accompaniment. They have Bold Rock, a very nice, dry and tart apple cider that paired perfectly with the order. This place offers in and outside dining. Good service and food.

I went here on a Saturday night with my friend Josh as we were looking for a bite to eat in the 14th street area and I was craving a burger. Going anywhere without a reservation on a weekend night in DC surely means at least an hour wait to get a table. We decided on this place as the wait seemed reasonable, but since I had never noticed Logan Tavern before and I live in the neighborhood, I wasn’t expecting much… I love it when places surprise me! The service was great. The wait was not long. And the food was much better than what one would expect at a place that labels itself as a «tavern.» Food: We started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts. If you are a fan of brussel sprouts, I recommend getting them here. The honey glaze yogurt flavor was a nice touch. I wish the dish had been a little less oily, but still happy with this choice. For my entrée, I got the grilled turkey burger with a side of garlic broccoli. The broccoli was nothing special but as a greener healthier option, it was probably the best bet. The turkey burger was pretty good. The bun was toasted well and the turkey patty was juicy and cooked well. I don’t eat beef so I didn’t go with the other burger options, but if you like turkey burgers I think you’ll be happy with this choice here. Ambience: I would characterize this place more as a gastropub or a medium-upscale bar. Its clean and isn’t super loud or crowded, which was nice. The tables are spaced far apart so you can actually hear the conversation you are having with the person(s) you come with. Cocktails: I wasn’t impressed with the cocktails here. I got the Stoly Doly, a pineapple infused vodka drink. I also got the Dutch Mule, with ginger beer and lime juice. Nothing special about either of these drinks. Although the cocktails didn’t impress, I was happy with everything else about this place. Logan Tavern exceeded my expectations.
