Woooooooo good pizza l, the gravy fries are so good. If u had the option of putting cheese it would taste like Canadian poutine. Very fast service grubhub is best.

I have been a regular at this place for the past two years. The pizza was decent and the hours made it convenient. I will never order from them anymore because they do not seem to have control over their drivers. Last time I ordered, I tipped the driver in cash and did not include a tip on my card. They seem to have lost control over the power they allocate to the delivery drivers. When I called, they mentioned that they apparently have proof that I added a tip on my card, and have my signature to prove it. I know I did not tip, because I make it a habit to tip with an even total. This is very unprofessional, and I would advise people to be weary of any charges that get added to your account. It is unfortunate that they do not value loyal customers.

I just had an awful experience with New York Pizza. I used their online system to order pizzas, when nothing had come an hour later, we called and they had not processed their order. They said they could see it in their system but that it had somehow«not gone through.» They then said that they would send the order right away. Another hour passes. We call back and there is no explanation for why the order wasn’t delivered. When we ask for a discount on the now two-hour late pizza, they tell us that they will take $ 1.50 off. That is not a serious effort to make up to customers who have been waiting over two hours. We canceled the order and will never try to order here from them again.

Did not like this place at all ordered there combo special of a large 1 topping pizza and wings with fries 2sodas. Pizza was nothing like New York pizza it had no taste just bland. Also ordered a side order of the Maryland crab cake balls there was no car meat in it tasted like hush puppies and weren’t very good at all. Will not order here again was disappointed

The pizza is mediocre and the sandwiches are not much, either. Most recently, I’d ordered a turkey burger sub that is on their online menu(as well as the paper menu) and got a deli turkey sub. When I called to complain, the man continually said ‘The turkey burger comes on a bun,’ fully not acknowledging that I’d told him that the turkey burger sub very much exists on both the online and paper menu. It could be a glitch in the online ordering system or the people who work there might be complete morons. Either way, don’t waste your time.

Yummy & affordable food! Just what I search for with delivery pizza! Arrived at my house fresh & hot. The wings came with French fries and the pizza came with garlic dip. The menu is super big, sign just says pizza but they have everything from T bone steaks to Crab cakes! I stuck to what the sign said personally and it was delicious. Will be ordering again.

I went here a while ago, for a sandwich and I wasn’t greatly impressed. The servers were nice but the sandwich quality was lacking. The lettuce was not fresh nor was the cheese, which seemed to be they kind of cheese found in individually wrapped plastic. Maybe I got the wrong sandwich but I doubt I’ll return.

Late at night, not many options within walking distance in the area. This particular pizza joint isn’t much to look at, and when you get inside, it’s even less to look at. That being said, I got what I wanted. For $ 3ish, got a slice of the regular cheese. Seemed a little high for a singular slice, but it’s a fairly large slice of pizza. Very cheesy with a heavy oil flavor you would get at a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. After drinks — this is fairly satisfying. 100% not a place I’d want to sit down and eat. Just your basic drunk food joint.

Not new York style at all. I’d know. Crust is like pizza hut. sauce not all that. Cheese very hard and not very stringy. If you want garlic as a topping, you need to pay about 75 cents extra. They do have a bathroom and slice was $ 3.85 and was pretty filling. Won’t come again. False advertisement

Fast delivery, but sub-par pizza. Sauce was not good and breadsticks were stale. Also, not at all NY style.

ugh come on guys! I honestly only ordered here because my first choice didn’t answer. I should have tried again. first of all they wouldn’t sub out anything in the salad which should have been my first indicator. it was meh. but let’s get to the point– New York pizza?!? have these guys ever even been to New York?! nothing about this pizza is New York style. crust is too thick with a big thick dough ring, there’s no sauce to speak of– tastes like little caesars. also was about $ 3 more expensive than the menu priced. on the upside, quick delivery. I ~might~ have given these guys 3 stars, because it wasn’t awful, but the audacity of calling this New York style pizza made for the most infuriating and disappointing«ugh» the moment I opened the box. strong pass

$ 5 for a slice of pizza — pepperoni is cut up to save them topping expense; there is no parmasean cheese. Tastes like ketchup on a piece of cardboard. Skip the New York Pizza’s in DC —- they are a burn. Ouch~! Let the owner get rich off of someone else’s money, not mine.

There is a little girl named Maddie Grace at Children’s Hospital who has been battling leukemia for several years. She has had a rough couple of days and this evening posted a photo on Facebook asking for pizza to be delivered to her room. New York Pizza is the closest delivery pizza shop. People from all around the country responded, including me, to send pizza to Maddie. Unfortunately, to protect credit card fraud, NYP could not accept the many orders being called in with credit cards for payment. So they did the next best thing. They delivered pizzas to Maddie for FREE! This is one of the coolest things i have heard in a long time. Please, if you are looking for pizza in Northeast DC, order from my new favorite pizza place, New York Pizza!

Food is fine, pizza is good. I usually get pepperoni pizza. I’ve been ordering here for a bit, but lately the service has gotten bad. My bf and I ordered a couple of days ago and when my bf signed the receipt the driver snatched it from his hand. Second offense: I called in today to order some more food and the man said he couldn’t hear me and blasted Indian music on the phone. Really? I called back and it was still the same music. My bf, on the other line heard all of this and called them back himself and they answered politely. He told them my order for me and the guy said my card was declined. Not true since I had just checked my balance. It sound like he just didn’t want to take my order because when I told him to run it a second time and he kept insisting that it was declined. Then I spoke to him slowly and clearly«CAN-YOU-RUN-IT-A-GAIN?» He did and said your food will be here in 30 – 45 mins. I said so it went through? He repeated himself and said your food will be here in 30 – 45 mins. My bf clarified the address with him and we both hung up. Maybe its just me but In cases like these, when the customer service is shady to me, I just rather spend my money somewhere else. I didn’t like being put on hold like that and Indian music being blasted in my ear, nor the disrespect from the driver to my bf. It’s sad because this was my go to spot late at night.

Pretty decent pizza for DC carry-out/delivery. I got the NY Combonisha, which arrived quickly and relatively hot. One thing I really like about New York Pizza is that they give you garlic butter with your pizza. Overall a good experience, a good pizza, at a good price. I’ll order again.

Shame on you if you really thought it would be New York Pizza! 1-star for nice phone etiquette when placing an order. They really try to make sure your order is correct. They give you their specials, etc. 1 more star-for prompt delivery service. Always on-time or earlier than quoted. Now the delivery guy is rude but hey! you can’t have it all! 1 more star-for flavorful. Not the best pizza and certainly not the worst. I only order from NYP for my job. They allow you to split pizza selections, they’re cheap, and they deliver. #winning

I love New York Pizza! I just moved from NYC to around the corner from it, and while it doesn’t really remind me of pizza in New York, that’s okay because honestly I like pizza in DC better. You can’t go wrong with the macaroni nuggets. Crispy on the outside, cheesy goodness on the inside. SOGOOD. I ordered the Manhattan Stix(Pepperoni, Garlic sauce and Mozzarella cheese baked in oven and garnished with Oregano, Parmesan cheese, and Rosemary flakes) as well, and I dipped them in ranch dressing which was amazing. I once ordered by the slice once, and it wasn’t as good as when they make the pizza fresh for you. Great for late night also because they stay open later than anyone in the area.

I think this place is delicious. Every time I order I get fast and friendly service. Their veggies taste pretty fresh and their sauce is exactly my type. This is my go to pizza delivery place!

*updated: the manager followed up with me immediately after I posted the picture of bad Blazing Buffalo Chicken wrap. The manager was supportive and offered me a free meal. I appreciated that he suddenly followed up with me suddenly. I accepted and removed the picture of wrap after I received the free burger and jalapeño poppers. Yes, I love their burgers! I normally order the cheeseburger with onion, pickles, and mustard.

STICKWITHTHEPIZZA! It tastes pretty okay and if your hungry will absolutely do the trick. Please do yourself a favor and DONOT get creative with the other things they have on the menu. I made the mistake of ordering a chicken gyro(didn’t want imitating lamb) and got the weirdest mystery looking meat. I’m not sure if he didn’t hear me say chicken and I got imitation lamb anyway but if this is chicken I couldn’t begin to place what part it came from. I also ordered onions rings and they were clearly out the freezer and into the deep fryer. Very greasy! Just do yourself a favor and stick with the pizza if ordering from here
