If I could give 100 stars I would… I’m walking out of the office right now with beautiful and straight teeth. A year ago I decided to get braces and found Dr. Orbach’s office on Unilocal & decided to go in for a consultation. They were extremely friendly and most importantly, very professional. I could tell that the staff were good friends with each other and it was fun listening to their jokes during the painful visits. Anyways, I definitely recommend this office!!! Amazing staff, amazing with kids!!!

I saw Dr. Orbach today for my first free consultation about invisalign. I had braces (treatment done in another state with another doctor) for three years until 2008 when the treatment finished (I was 25 then). Seven years later and after wearing the retainer every single night (really!) my upper teeth have moved, so I went to see Dr. Orbach after reading all the wonderful reviews he has on Unilocal.I wanted to inquire about invisalign to bring my teeth back to how beautiful they were right after my previous treatment.
All the reviews are right. Dr. Orbach sat with me to study my case and offer me options that would provide the results I want (having a smooth upper arch). He listened to my concerns and preferences carefully and offered his professional opinion. After explaining details of what he observed, he offered me three options: no invisalign, yes invisalign but short treatment, or invisalign for longer treatment to fix a couple of other details that weren’t addressed in my previous treatment or that developed over time. At no point he tried to sell me anything. The short treatment seemed to be the fastest and easiest for me, but before trying that Dr. Orbach fixed a couple of wires in the retainer I brought (the one I’ve worn for 5 years now and still looks good) and asked me to come back in two weeks to check if the problem gets fixed using this (much) cheaper option. Even though he worked on the retainer I brought, he didn’t charge me for the visit. By far, the most ethical and honest orthodontist and dentist I’ve ever met. I wish all health professionals behaved at such level.
Oh, and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They seem truly happy with their work. Kudos to Dr. Orbach for keeping his staff happy.

I went to see Dr. Orbach after being referred by my dentist here in DC. I haven’t been to the orthodontist in about 7 years because I never had real problems after I had my braces off. I went to Dr. Orbach because my permanent retainer was broken and I wanted to see if it could be replaced. I also was interested in getting a retainer for my bottom teeth that had shifted since my wisdom teeth have come in. My initial appointment was super fast and everyone was super nice and very helpful. They fitted me for a top and bottom retainer, had impressions done and was back at the office in two days to pick up my retainers. The only issue is that insurance did not cover the cost of any of this so it was a hefty out of pocket price but worth it. The office is clean and had a very positive atmosphere, the staff was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Orbach to anyone in the DC Metro area!

Dr. Orbach’s office is amazing. It’s clean, professional, and all the entire staff incredibly friendly. I’m about a third of the way into my Invisalign process and I’m very glad I chose to do it here. Dr. Orbach himself is extremely kind, thorough and professional. He will go through the process step by step with you, is very attentive and gentle with the treatments and makes you feel comfortable to ask questions and voice concerns. I can already see improvements and I’m confident Dr. Orbach and his office will continue to provide the care I was looking for when I stepped in.

Dr. Orbach is excellent! He did a wonderful job with my teeth. His office is extremely accommodating if you need to reschedule an appointment. I arrived extremely early for some of my appointments and Dr. Orbach saw me right away. I would highly recommend Dr. Orbach!

I am one year into my approximately two year treatment. I have full confidence in Dr. Orbach ever since my first records appointment. His staff took photos of me/​my teeth which is very standard, he reviewed their work and took a few more photos in order to get things right. His office is small which makes me feel like him and his staff focus on me in order to make my treatment as successful as possible. I have had braces as a child, but was not impressed with the way my teeth came out as a 17 year old. My teeth already look better than they did after my braces came off years ago.

We were on a family vacation in DC over spring break, and the wire on my daughter’s bottom braces came dislodged and made her very uncomfortable. Dr. Orbach’s office agreed to see her and take care of our problem, even though we were not his patients. They were kind with her, fixed the problem, and wouldn’t take a dime. The least I could do was to write a good review, to let others know how helpful and accommodating they are!

I had orthodontic treatment done 10 years ago. This summer, my permanent retainer felt like it was moving. I saw Dr. Orbach, who advised me to see if it changed at all in the next few months before replacing it. When I saw him again this week, he went through the pros/​cons of replacing the broken portion. Dr. Orbach saw me the following day when I was having issues with the new portion, and adjusted it until it fit comfortably.
I’d highly recommend going to Dr. Orbach for orthodontic work.

As other reviewers have stated, I too had visited three orthodontists, but I do not have orthodontist insurance — so I really wanted to LIKE the Doctor I was going to work with. I knew right away when I met with Dr. Orbach that I found my orthodontist.
I had braces as a kid and like most, didn’t wear my retainer — so the front teeth moved and closed out my front bottom tooth. I needed invislign and since I was getting married this year I felt this was the time to fix it.
Dr. Orbach met with me and explained all of my options. He is extremely professional, but down to earth and personable (which is not something I found in the other doctor’s I visited.) When I explained when I was getting married he didn’t think the timing would be a problem — citing approximately a year of wear.
Within the first week of wearing invislign, Dr. Orbach called me to make sure everything was going well and to ask if I had any questions. It was so thoughtful and I really appreciated it. From then on I looked forward to going to the office, seeing his staff (Lauren is wonderful!) and getting my new trays.
Fast forward 8 months and I am done! I wore my trays as much as humanly possible and it paid off! My teeth look incredible!
I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Orbach. He was just such a pleasure to work with and now that I have a perfect smile I am ready to pose for my wedding pictures next month!

When deciding to get Invisalign, I visited 2 orthodontists in my area, covered by my dental plan. I chose Dr. Orbach for his friendliness, customer service and price of treatment. His staff is always extremely welcoming and willing to work around your questions or scheduling issues. Dr. Orbach is also available via email and always returns calls very promptly. His office, nicely lit and well decorated, is very conveniently located a few blocks from the Foggy Bottom metro.
I am very satisfied with the attention and quality of service I received during my treatment. I now finally have the teeth and smile that I’ve been wanting for such a long time!
