Pam was great from start to finish. We were first time home buyers and we were looking for a house in a very competitive DC area where inventory is low. She helped us all along the way to make a competitive offer and she knew the ins and outs of what it takes to win which I think really made the difference. I moved to the DC area in 2011 and was put in touch with Pamela by someone at the Urban Turf blog, she was highly recommended and how right they were. I warned Pamela that it would take me a while to find what I wanted and while I am not so sure how literally she took that, Pamela was enormously patient with me given the length of time it took to find the right place. Pam was particularly impressive in knowing how to move when we found the home we wanted to buy. Knowing the area and the competitive market, Pam advised us to have our home inspected early and correctly foresaw how we should place an offer. As it turned out, she was 100% correct, and her advice was the difference between us getting the place or losing out to other buyers.
Pam made herself very available, was quick to respond in all matters, including after we moved in and had questions about our condo. The closing process was very smooth, thanks to Pamela and her clear communication. She is a easy person to spend time with, and as a DC native herself has the sort of insight that only true locals can.

My husband and I were first-​time home buyers who literally knew nothing about the process or about DC real estate. Pam was patient and very knowledgeable from the start. She always made herself available to us whether it was to answer questions or show us a home – I’m talking about emailing us back or returning our phone call within the hour. If she knew she’d be unavailable, she let us know ahead of time. This stood for weekends and weekdays alike.
Pam never made us feel rushed while showing us houses. She took our price point into consideration and wasn’t pushy with it. She listened to our likes and dislikes about each house, and used the information she learned about us to choose more houses that truly fit the bill for us. It took us about two and a half months to find our perfect home, which Pam showed to us a mere hour after it hit the market. It was everything we wanted, and Pam helped us put in an offer that afternoon.
The most respectable thing about Pam is that she is doing her job because she truly loves what she does. You can tell. She isn’t there for the money, and made this evident by pointing out things about certain houses that she thought we should know (i.e., cheap siding, bad construction, reputations of the contractor who worked on the house) so that we would be happy with our purchase in the long run. I’m certain that these types of realtors who put their clients’ happiness before their income are few and far between.
Closing was a breeze with Pam. I wanted to double-​check and shop around for contractors to help with the inspections and the mortgage process. But after taking an hour or two to shop around, I quickly realized that Pam’s picks and suggestions truly provided the most competitive prices and interest rates, and I’m sure, the best experience overall.
Pam is one-​of-​a-​kind. Snatch her up before word gets out and her schedule is crammed for months out.

I met Pam because she was selling the house I was renting in, and on a whim I asked her what the process would be if I wanted to buy. Despite my doubts, she convinced me that it wasn’t just a pipe dream and that it was actually doable! Throughout the process, she showed me properties I was looking for and made honest assessments on all of them. In the end, with Pam’s help, I settled on a great property for a great price. I am extremely grateful to Pam for her expertise in making home ownership a reality for me.
