Food was good and it was inexpensive. Hard to beat that.

THISPLACEISCLOSED — It still takes online orders(and charges your card!), but is 100% closed. They are apparently trying to do the orders at a new restaurant; however, it’s not nearly as convenient for me and people in the area, and thus picking up your order is a lot harder. Suffice to say, they should be a LOT more informative about this — it feels scammy to bill me for a different restaurant!

The food was nice, I’ll be honest about that. I ordered the curry chicken and while it was about 70% greens 20% potato and 10% chicken, it still tasted good. The reason why I’m giving a 2 instead of a 4 or a 5 is because I also ordered a bubble tea(20oz). While the bubble tea was good, they gave it to me in a very very small container. I decided that there was no way it could be 20oz, so I compared it to 24oz container of bubble tea I had gotten from a different area before. The size is less than 1⁄3 of the 24oz container, so I have to conclude that they gave me the wrong size of bubble tea. Which would have been bad enough on its own, but the container was half full at best. Oh, and the guy who delivered me the food gave me quite a bit of attitude.

I don’t often have food that is so bad that you just can’t eat it but last night we did. I ordered: White Rice — Pint $ 2.25 4 Teriyaki Beef $ 6.00 Panda Platter For 2 $ 11.50 Chicken with Broccoli $ 9.00 Everything was over cooked and dry as if we received old leftovers. The staff was hard to understand and not very pleasant. This meal ruined our night because it was really to late to go out for something else. So at this point we are looking forward to a nice breakfast.

Occasional poor service with rude employees, unclean bathrooms that are very small but the food is great. I had sesame chicken on the dinner special and another occasion I had chicken fried rice which was very good and served warm. I will continue returning because of the food quality and convenient location.

I had a Mocha Bubble Tea, it was yummy. My husbands orange flavored chicken looked delicious. A language barrier with the waitress, not a friendly vibe.

This place has decent Chinese food but has horrible service. The staff is consistently grumpy and totally lack customer service etiquette.

I am law student. With long nights of studying in the library, I appreciate the the quick service, decent food and good customer service. My favorite are the dinner trays. While the restaurant is expensive, it is one of the better Chinese food places I have had since moving to DC.

This is your typical Chinese take out restaurant, but with a nice dining in seating area. I have always done pick up, which is always ready before I get there. I have never had an issue with anything! I have always been pleased with my food. They have a good dinner special that includes a soup or egg roll and fried rice in addition to your meal!

I ordered online and they were on time. The food(rolls) were ok. They don’t get the fourth star because the fake crab in the dragon roll was just way to fake and fell apart when I grabbed the roll

I have been to this restaurant last week. The price is not high, and the taste is not bad. If you look for lunch, it deserves a try.

I would have given this restaurant a 4 star review because I love the food, but the delivery is by far the worst delivery around. The food is soooooooo yummy and nice and saucy like I like it. The delivery is a nightmare. The deliveryman refuses to bring the food in to our building. The first time I considered it a lack of communication and ordered again. When I ordered online the second time and specifically said, please come in to building and he refused again I had to say, I’m done with this. If I cannot have the food delivered to my door I may as well go pick it up myself. On top of it all, tonight my order was wrong. Panda, its the details. Your food may be good, but getting the orders wrong and refusing to deliver to my door are deal breakers. I order Chinese twice a week, but you have lost my business. Thanks, anyway.

We love their sushi and also the bubble tea. We tried the shrimp tempura roll, it’s crispy. It’ s pretty good.

I got the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings and it was tasteless. The service was fine, but if the food isn’t good then what’s the point of returning again? You can find better options elsewhere.

I am fond patron of Panda Café — mainly because of its close proximity to my work and apartment. Panda Café delivers or will make food for take out, and also features dining in. I’ve never eaten at the actual restaurant, however I have done delivery and take out. With take out, as long as you call ahead, you won’t be disappointed. They are very fast and efficient in preparing my orders — generally a Chicken Lo Mein and Steamed Dumplings order. The food is great typical American Chinese food — greasy, salty and scrumptious! I LOVE their steamed dumplings. I cannot get enough of them. The wait staff are generally friendly and helpful when I’ve gone to pick up my order too. In terms of delivery time, they usually take about 30 – 45 minutes. Overall, good Chinese place if you’re looking for one in the Foggy Bottom area.

First and last visit! I was told my pickup order would be ready about 10mins… I gave them 15mins. I arrive to the cashier trying to give my someone else’s order? Another person came out and was told of my dilemma, she listened and walked away leaving me standing there? Meanwhile two other patrons came behind me stating their pick up orders were missing items or had wrong items all together. The lady that previously walked away comes out with my order… that hadn’t made it at all! The really good thing… food was hot. The really bad thing… no customer service of any kind was extended. I think she also overcharged me on the tax. I’m new to the area so I questioned that to myself? I had three examples(including myself) of their customer service… not going back!

Ugh even 2 stars is generous. This place was rather awful. I ordered hunan beef and they gave me hunan chicken instead. The pork fried rice was flavorless and rather disgusting. The chicken was totally mediocre– I’ve made significantly better stir fry than that and I am a generally horrible cook! I liked the variety of vegetables in the hunan chicken, and the egg roll was all right, but that was definitely not enough to salvage my visit. They might have better entrees on their menu, but my first experience there was so subpar that I am not willing to return. Alas, my search for half decent Chinese food in the DC area continues…

The name probably should speak for itself in terms of authenticity. I’ve only really ordered fake-asian food from here(which probably makes my ancestors roll over in their graves), but even that is sub-par. The food is a little bland, and even the guilty pleasures of sesame chicken etc aren’t terribly pleasurable, because the meat feels soggy instead of crisply fried. The bubble tea is atrociously watered down, but seeing as how it seems to be one of the few places in DC that have a myriad of bubble tea flavors available, I suppose I should be grateful. The sushi isn’t very fresh, nor is it especially appetizing(example: I recently ordered salmon rolls, and for a second, I thought they’d accidentally replaced them with tuna rolls – the salmon was oddly dark in color). Delivery tends to be fast though, so that’s a plus. Also, it’s super cheap.
