Yesterday was one of these nights were you really don’t feel like cooking or going out so I ordered a XL margarita from this place. The price was reasonable: 16.99 + 1.99 for delivery. It was delivered on time, 45min later. But the pizza was just not good: it had no taste and the crust was chewy. They are obviously using poor quality ingredients to make the pizza. I will not order again from this restaurant.

Ok at best. We stayed at the George hotel and wanted a late night bite to eat. We chose to order pizza and fries with some Coke. The pizza was ok. A bit cold, but edible. The fries were not good at all! Delivery took awhile to get here but when I called they were friendly.

Ordered from Grubhub on a Friday night. We got fries and a pizza. Both were fine but not absolutely delicious. Pizza dough seemed store bought & fries had lost their crispness. But hey, what was I expecting? Cheap delivery on a Friday. The food is certainly pleasantly edible, especially for the price and speed!

The pizza is pretty good, to be honest. But it took over an hour and a half to get my order delivered. And ain’t nobody got time for that.

Update. I was offered a complete refund so they at least took care of me. I ate 1 ½ slices and it was tasty but then I noticed a black hair on my pizza. I am blonde so it wasn’t mine. Refund was processed.

Pizzarro is a MUST if you want quick, delicious Italian food. The pizza is always good. Always. The chicken parmesan is delicious. Calzones= awesome. Even good salads! The prices are great. I can’t rave enough. I used to live close by and would walk over. They have the best customer service ever. They’re always so nice. It’s a small mom and pop shop, and even though I don’t live next door anymore, I still order from there all the time. Basically, if you want delicious and cheap pizza, this is your spot!

Ordered pizza from this place via eat24. Pizza arrived pretty quickly(under 25 minutes), which was good. Unfortunately, that was the only thing that was good. When I opened the box, the vast majority of the cheese had migrated off of what purported to be a pizza and into one corner of the box, as if the thing that was poorly disguised as a pizza had lost its cheese toupee. The alleged«pizza» was so greasy(and not in that tasty Chicago-style way) that the grease had soaked through the box to the point that the box had lost its structural integrity. The crust was so chewy that my jaw hurt after attempting to get through a piece, and it literally tasted like cardboard – probably because it had fused with the box. Basically, this is pizza made for people who just don’t care, by people who just don’t care. Next time your girlfriend says, «I don’t care» when you ask her what she wants for dinner, order this pizza and show her what people get when they really don’t care. I’m giving this place two stars instead of one, because I’ve eaten a piece of the pizza while writing this and I haven’t died or anything. But I’ll be sure to update if I do.

The staff are very rude but the pizza is good. If there were other places that were open at this time then I would pass by this place.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. First I ordered a chicken parmesan, which was supposed to come with garlic bread. I also got fries to get over the 10 dollar delivery limit. It took nearly 2 hours to get to me which is absurd and there was no contact telling me it would be late. I wish I could take back the delivery tip I already put on grubhub. The meal wasn’t a chicken parm. It was poorly cooked spaghetti, a super oily tomato sauce, and undercooked/dry grilled chicken tossed in there and was so disgusting that I had to pick them all out. No mozzarella cheese ATALL. I didn’t know it was possible to mess up chicken parm but it is. Then, the so called garlic bread was just a plain piece of bread no garlic no attempt to do anything to it. The fries were soggy and gross. Overall this placed sucked.

I ordered a calzone after getting drenched at the Nats game, and I was just looking for something tasty, hot and quick. I decided to give Pizzaro a try. My food was relatively inexpensive, and came within about 45 min. I always order my sauce on the side, and I got the calzone with bacon, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. The calzone is huge, and was enough for three meals for me. The calzone looked like it was going to be awesome. However, there were just a few things off that let me down. The dough was good, but the mozzarella cheese inside wasn’t totally melted. It wasn’t like it got unmelty because it had cooled, but it just hadn’t ever gotten hot enough while it was baking. Also, the meats weren’t what I expected. I didn’t see much sausage, or if it was there, it wasn’t the normal crumbled, ground sausage. The bacon either wasn’t there or was different as well. I definitely had lots of pepperoni(yum!) but I didn’t know what the second meat was, it seemed like thick chunks of Canadian bacon or almost a hot dog type meat. Definitely not what I’m used to. Overall, this was quick service, and I really wanted to like it more. Maybe if I got different fillings or something, but I likely wouldn’t order again because the order just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Not good pizza and they charge a LOT for toppings. I asked for kalamata olives on my pizza and it came with whole black olives. When I called and asked about it(since they charged me $ 3 for the 8 olives) the guys who answered the phone told me that his boss told him while olives are kalamata and sliced olives are black olives!

Cannelloni: spaghetti. Meat: fried ground beef. Ricotta: spray cheese. Garlic bread: not garlic, just plain bread. Pizza: mediocre. Temperature of everything: lukewarm. Between the disgusting pasta(we just threw it away it was so bad), all of which apparently is just spaghetti with ground beef and the mediocre pizza, I would definitely order from pretty much anywhere else.

I will never order from Pizzaro again. The pizza was fine enough. Totally acceptable. Customer service… ehhh. I ordered from them once(nearly 90 minute wait) and ordered from them a second time. The second time I ordered before leaving work so it would be ready when I got home — I ordered online. Long story short, nearly 2 hours later, I didn’t have my food. They lost my order. On the phone the guy seemed to suggest this was my fault. He did not offer to make the order for me or get it out quickly. He didn’t even offer a refund. They were closed so I was just out of luck somehow. I contacted Eat24’s customer service and they managed to get a refund… but that was it. So I’m still sitting here starving more than 2 hours later. Just what I want at the end of my Friday. I’m a relatively positive and forgiving person, but this was just really rude.

We love this spot. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is the same rationale that make us order it so much– it is a cheap, delicious pizzeria. You don’t always want Pete’s New Haven Gourmet pies, in fact more often then not you want an easy spot that you aren’t gonna break the bank on that is gonna have some good pizza. This is that spot. So freaking cheap and they make an excellent pie. At the end of the day you should always bypass the mass delivery chains like Papa Johns who make an inferior pizza, charge you more and then crap on their employees so they don’t have to pay them livable wages. Go local! Haters gonna hate, but this spot is exactly what you need on a Thursday night when you got nothing in the fridge, a beer in your hand and a desire for something a little greasy and very tasty. Do yourself a favor, put the haterade on ice for a later date and order yourself up a ten dollar large two topping pie. Hint: I feel like pricing always works better and waaaayy quicker if you go to pick up for yourself!

Worst pizza ever. So disappointed as they are just down the street from me. Undercooked bland pizza. I wish there were negative stars. Also they were incredibly rude. Save your money and go to anyplace else.

This is a solid place to order delivery. They now offer delivery for a reasonable fee($ 1) with a relatively low delivery minimum($ 10) through Foodler( ). Thus far, I have tried the ultra calzone, which was overflowing with fresh, delicious ingredients(spinach, artichokes, tomatoes, onions, and cheese), and it was quite good. I also tried the fresh mozzarella salad. The greens could have been a bit fresher, but overall it was good. I love that they have an extensive selection of unique specialty pizzas. I’m looking forward to trying some of their vegetarian specialty pizzas. Overall, I was happy with their delivery service, and I’d definitely order from them again.

Pizzarro makes you feel good inside. Not only because of the tasty pizza and calzones, but because you’re supporting a local spot. And when I mean local, I mean like 200 yards from my crib. I try to go there at least twice a month but at my worst this summer I was there every week. My biggest critique would be their lack of online ordering and sub-par phone skills. If you’re ordering delivery or take-out via phone, be very patient and prepare to repeat everything at least twice. Trust me, you’ll thank yourself 35min later when you’re in Pizzarro heaven. Pros: Pizzas, Calzones, Salads, Pricing, SUNKIST Cons: Chicken Tenders(just don’t), Bread Sticks, Wings* As you can see the pros outweigh the cons so go do your local duty and help me in supporting this awesome mom & pop shop. *The wings or hit or miss, about a 50% chance of success. When they do it right, they really nail it.
