Also, Unilocal/​Eat24 is responsible for the poor delivery service of this place. Never received my order. Took forever to finally find out they were not delivering the order through communication with Eat24.
Just look for a reliable place, as there are many in the NW area.

Fries were oily spinach and feta cheese was nasty and the bacon cheese burgers were nasty sorry but my brother and I could not eat them. I’m giving them 2 stars only because they were willing to replace my food.

I REALLY wish I could give negative stars! I’ve been up since 5am, worked all day, went to school (I’m a law student), and came home too tired to cook so I ordered takeout from this place. I ordered it, however, an hour plus later, after they gave an estimated delivery time of 25 – 35 minutes, my food wasn’t here. I waited a little longer and then tried calling them. I called at 2:06 am. Turns out, according to Google, they close at 2am. Whomp Whomp! Guess who’s not having dinner tonight and decided to light them up on Unilocal.That’s right-​this would be customer except they couldn’t even bother to deliver my dinner. Wonder how long I was expected to sit here, starving, exhausted, and cranky before someone was going to inform me they were closed or not delivering my food. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME TO WASTE AND NEVER WANT TO EAT!

Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve yet to have what I think is great pizza here.
This place isn’t great either, but it’s good and consistent. Something about the crust. Overall, the pie Is better than most of what I’ve tried in the last 15 years here.
Nice folks. Pizza almost always gets here in about 20 – 25 minutes, nice and hot.

Yo this place has good pizza but INCREDIBLE gyros. Ask for the gyro with spicy sauce. Very generous with the meat. Never had one better; street food in NYC got nothing on these dudes.

Similar to others, I ordered and the food never came. They said it was because they were out of lasagna. I called about 8 times over an hour before getting through to someone. They told me their line wasn’t working and expected a fax to change my order. Horrible, horrible service. Do not go here!

I ordered delivery and my food never came. They didn’t notify me of the «accident» that caused my order to be an hour and a half late and never answered their phone when I called. Do not order delivery from them.

Was out in U st area. Got absolutely hammered. My buddy and I stumbled in. He got a couple big slices. I got the Gyro. I don’t know how the pizza was but the gyro was awesome. Not the best i’ve had but pretty damn close.

Last night was my first and last time that I will ever set foot into this restaurant. If you like to eat rubber instead of pizza, then this is your place. We ordered the pizza and I don’t even think it deserves to be called pizza. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this «pizzeria trattoria.»

This is really bad food coupled with horrible servicen don’t order and expect it within two hours.

I have to say, I have never been more disappointed in a Pizza delivery place. I never write reviews, but this was so terrible– on so many levels– that I had to warn the public! I ordered 2 pizza’s and spaghetti and a 2 liter of coke. I knew things were not going to be good after 2 phone calls to confirm the place got my order and a 2.5 hour wait for delivery (the seamless time estimate was 20 – 30 minutes)!
When the food finally got here, the driver called me and said they couldn’t find parking and to come down. I figured, sure no problem and just darted down in my jeans and t-​shirt expecting to meet the person in my building lobby or at the door. Nope. The driver refused to get out of her minivan and I had to run outside in 25 degree weather to reach into her window to get the food. No apology for the long wait or anything.
At this point I was mildly annoyed but figured hey whatever I have the food and we can finally eat. When i got it upstairs and flipped open the first Pizza box, I was greeted with half of the cheese and toppings still stuck on the lid of the box, a strangely oblong mushed pizza and it was literally charred black on all the cheese and toppings– inedible. Frustrated, I opened the second box and was greeted with the same scene. ALTHOUGH THIS TIME SOME OF THE PEPPERONI WERE ACTUALLY JUST CIRCLE OF CARDBOARD! You read that correctly cardboard… (I have pictures!)
The last possibility of redemption was a simple order of spaghetti and meat sauce. Things did not bode well as I looked at the Styrofoam to-​go box with a mixture of oil and marinara sauce dripping along the side. When I popped open the lid I found a solid block of pasta in the shape of the big compartment mixed with hard half circles of a meat product and bland sauce.
I literally had to throw everything out because it was inedible. Just gross. I will never order from there again. If I could rate it 0 stars i would.

Live around the corner… never had the pizza, but the Gyros (with spicy lamp, not regular) are out of this world delicious

One and a half stars. One of the two «Jumbo Slice» imposters by Russia House. Sodas in the fridge, napkins by the trash near the door. Wait time is practically nothing, and portioning is made jumbo by serving half of a sloppily tossed medium. Crust-​dominant. A staple for drunks, not pizza connoisseurs.

Are you drunk? Is it Thursday through Saturday? Is it after 10:30PM? Are you in the Adams Morgan Area? If you said yes to one or more of these questions then you should go to Pizzeria Trattoria and love it. I’m pretty sure it’s the only reason I wasn’t hungover the next day. The huge pizza slice soaked up all the booze in my belly.

We came in for a late night slice of pizza.
Each slice was HUGE, the cheese and the toppings were really good and fresh.
The staff were nice and friendly, possibly because we were the only clients at the time.
All in all– very good experience.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS HORRIBLE FOOD. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about my experience with this place. We wanted to try something new and weren’t craving the same fair so this place looked ideal with their large selection of items. We ordered shrimp fetuchini, chicken tenders, and nachos online. While our online receipt told us it would take 20 – 30 minutes, we waited nearly two hours. We called 3 times and each time we were told that our order was on its way. When the food finally arrived I was surprised to see it being delivered by a sweaty 80 year old man on a bicycle. That was the best part of our experience. When we opened the delivery containers we were shocked at the inedible garbage that was not as described in the menu and looked nothing like the photos. The shrimp fetuchini did not have the diced tomatoes we requested, the sauce was all grease, and the shrimp was fried. Who puts fried shrimp in shrimp fetuchini? After peeling through the greasy breading, we found shrimp that literally looked like fried maggots. The nachos were advertised to have jalapeños, sour cream, chili, and cheese. What we received was a container of chips with a burnt slice of Kraft cheese on top. The chicken tenders, which until now I thought were impossible to screw up, taste as if they were left in the fryer an extra 30 minutes. They were burnt dry, yet dripping with grease. Disgusting! On the plus side, they didn’t mess up the bottle of coca cola.
I cannot adequately describe the terror that is this restaurant. I joined Unilocal tonight just so I could protect other people from this tragedy. You will be better served by just eating your money.

I’m from out of town so I didn’t know where else to go. After a few late night drinks in the neighborhood, a friend and I wanted some food and this was one of the first places we stumbled upon. It wasn’t horrible but it was no where near anything good. It seems like this place only survives because it’s open late. Their customer service is just like the food they serve, borderline bad.
With all the other choices around the neighborhood, visit somewhere else.

This place wasn’t nearly as bad as these previous reviews indicate.
It’s basic American-​style food at a reasonable price.
Ordered online and everything was in the realm of expectation.

Standard Jumbo Slice. It was good. Can’t decide if this or Duccini’s is better.
Packed late night weekends but can get a quick slice.
I’ll be back.

This place served the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The slices are HUGE but they’re ALL dough… bland, very little cheese & hardly any sauce. That’s not pizza, people! I don’t know what the #*%& it was, but it was crap, I tell ya.
Take some lessons from NYC, Trattoria…
Thin crust, greasy, cheesy… you know, pizza that you can fold in half and it just melts in your mouth. that is real pizza and that’s what people want whether it’s noon or midnight. I took one bite of this crap and threw the rest in the trash.
