Such a cute place with all kinds of popsicles. My dog loves the tiny«pup pops.» Also really good: the homemade granola and the maple flavored yogurt.

I’m such a huge fan of this place. Literally stop here every morning for great coffee. The staff is super friendly, their baked goods all look delicious(I’ve only had the croissant so far), and again, awesome coffee.

5 stars for the pops! The best one by far is the strawberry ginger lemonade, but chongos, cinnamon vanilla peach, and coconut are also good. Skip the grapefruit rosemary and watermelon mint– they taste too savory. The cold brew coffee(drink) is also really good here. Definitely worth walking a couple blocks from anything else on Adams Morgan. –1 star for the food. I had the roasted zucchini sandwich and the caprese, and they were uninspiring. The salads are also small and don’t look that great. But this is a cute place to have lunch, good outdoor tables and fast wifi for working inside.

I was astounded at how low their prices are for being in Downtown DC and selling delicious Popsicles! I cannot wait to go back and try out their espresso.

Fresh out of the oven fruity scone and fair trade iced coffee? Yes please! The only bad thing is that I walked by this gem of a place two days in a row before I noticed it, so only got to enjoy it once on my way out of town. Don’t make my same mistake, walk on in and enjoy!

I have been wanting to try one of their Pops every since a friend told me about them. I got the strawberry ginger lemonade Pop and it was so good. Perfect summertime treat! At $ 3 a Pop it’s a bit pricey but worth it!

This place has the best pops and lattes, so glad they are close to work. Great place to stop for quick break. Lattes on cool days and pops for those hot humid days. Definitely worth checking out!

I’ve been to Pleasant Pops a few times, but normally in the Florida Avenue location. Overall, it’s a good place for a quick cool down, but it pretty much only make sense in the summer months and not winter. This place is pretty upfront — there are Popsicles and coffee. But the Popsicles are actually very delicious. My favorite is the cucumber and chili version, which cools you down while also having a kick to it. This location is pretty small, so it’s good for a quick cup of coffee. But there’s not much else going on here besides the popsicles.

pleasant pops flagged and had Unilocal remove my last review because«it is not primarily relevant to a consumer experience.» in other words, it was not an overwhelmingly positive review that tricks you into going in for a very mediocre product. shady. so let me clearly make this review about their overpriced $ 3 popsicle. i am speaking about my personal consumer experience in pleasant pops. i went to pleasant pops’ location on 15th st in washington dc. i shared 2 popsicles with my wife. we had the peach hibiscus and the strawberry ginger lemonade flavors. both tasted approximately the same as the popsicles i could have purchased at a grocery store, but cost 11 times more money. i would not return to pleasant pops because it was a tourist trap and an overhyped, but subpar product. do not be a fool and waste your $ 3 on a popsicle that tastes so generic.

My friend at work told me about this place and we went on a Thursday, mid afternoon. The line was out the door but moved quickly. The only thing that took a while was the drinks, they only have one person making them so when a party of 8 ahead of you all order a drink… you get the idea. That being said my latte was delicious. They have a lot of interesting flavor options– hibiscus pomegranate, coconut cardamom, blueberry pancake, etc. I went with the Mexican Chocolate. It was creamy, not overly sweet, with a nice hint of cinnamon. I really enjoyed it and will be back soon to try other flavors

I was beyond excited when Pleasant Pops opened its doors a few blocks from my office at the peak of summer. What could be better than a refreshing Popsicle break? Unfortunately, I’ve found their product with much to be desired. I loved the basil strawberry lemonade pop but have yet to find another satisfying flavor. I can’t quite pinpoint the issue– over frozen? Frozen too quickly? Not creamy enough? I’m hoping things will improve. As the owners are UNC alumni I’m hoping they’ll venture back to the land of the pine and pick up some lessons from Locopops

Awful awful awful!!! We ordered a cappuccino, iced coffee and a mocha. They had no idea what a mocha was. So we explained to them what it was. Then they made the cappuccino and then they waiting 5 mins to make the iced coffee. It was stupid. Then we got the drinks and they were sooo bitter and nasty. :-/the manager had a tiny tank top on and you could see her bra. It was Nasty! We were going buy cookies but they were hard and $ 5 for 2! Do not recommend this place at all.

Great location and quick service. Nice, bright and clean inside. Iced coffee had great flavor and cheddar biscuit was delicious and fresh. Slightly pricey to be a frequent stop, but great for a day when you need a special treat. Looking forward to having the popsicles over the summer.

So excited that my favorite Adams Morgan coffee shop has opened a second location. Their coffee is far, far superior to the other offerings in the area(Peets, Starbucks), I love the Bakehouse pastries, and nothing hits the spot like a popsicle on a warm afternoon. The interior is lovely with a few seats and large picnic tables outside. The team clearly is committed to quality coffee service, and the spot is a nice respite from the otherwise impersonal downtown offerings. I’m a big fan of the pops too — favorites include Chongos, Strawberry Rhubarb, Coconut Cardamom, and the unusual but delicious Guac Pop. Downtown office workers and tourists alike(it’s less than a block from the White House) are really lucky to have Pops in the neighborhood!

Great flavors and service. Tried the guac pop(avocado and lime) and cookies & cream, which seemed to be made of either oreos or ice cream sandwiches… either way, it was a magical experience and everyone must go.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that everyone should take advantage of this gem. They have whatever you’re in the mood for — delicious original and organic popsicles that come in a number of interesting and yummy flavors(strawberry ginger lemonade is too perfect for words… so try it). The coffee game is on point. For any barista connoisseurs, you won’t be disappointed here. You won’t be disappointed either, all you non-barista connoisseurs. Finally, the pastries you can choose from are all from local bakers who REALLY know how to bake. Make this place your place. You won’t regret it.
