I managed to leave one if my most valuable possessions at my friends’ house in Bethesda. My phone charger. I was in Landover on Easter Sunday. First stop, church, because my heart and mind has to stay right(53%). Second stop Wegmans, because my stomach was like, «Seymour! Feed me!!!»(38% because I use my phone to access my bible app). Third stop, Costco to get some gas for the low, but guess who’s closed on Easter??? Right(20ish% because I had to listen to Pandora). At this particular stop, fear rose up in my throat and began to choke me. My phone can’t die when I am 30 something miles away from home!!! Think Think THINKGURL!!! RadioShack. I gun it at about 85mph on the freeway and streets to make it to the Rhode Island RadioShack. I was afraid to see the percentage of juice i had at this point. I rush into the store, the sigh of my relief was palpable, «Can I help you ma’am?»(Do I look old enough to be called ma’am??? I digress). Eyes bugged and winded I respond, «iPhone charger?» The sales associate was friendly and efficient. I don’t know how I could ever repay her… oh yea, I did, when I paid for my merchandise.(Adjectives that describe my in store experience: Clean, organized, helpful associates, merchandise in stock– what more can you ask for?)
