I loved this place and I’ll be back. It has bohemian things for the home reminiscent of anthropology but mixed with the high quality of a home décor boutique with items from local establishments. Today my boyfriend and I purchased a hand poured soy candle that smells like the beach for $ 30, 10% of the proceeds go to help rescue dogs in need. We also got a bright, colorful woven bowl($ 58) to use as a fruit bowl in our kitchen. It was made by hand by a women in Africa. It came with a tag introducing her self and explaining that because she has been given the opportunity to create and sell these bowls in America, she has been able to afford food, electricity, health care etc and she is able to send her children to school. I thought that was so cool. My boyfriend got bourbon bitters mix, so he was excited about that. I will definitely be going back again soon. It’s a great place to find gifts for people too.

As a college student who loooooives to find new home décor to decorate her apartment with, I love his place!(My bank account on the other hand…) Located in Union Market, this place has everything! Candles, S’well Water Bottles, Honey, Dog treats, Stationary and Baby clothes, this place is perfect! I love how everything is original and quaint, perfect for the early 30’s boho adult wanting cute, unique pieces that are both functional and a statement! I could spend hours in here, unfortunately my man was getting a little antsy. Until next time! Prices are reasonable and shop is spacious.

Salt and Sundry is the hipster’s paradise. It has anything a hipster would want: S’well water bottles, old school cookbooks, bitters, Mast Chocolate from Brooklyn, habenaro salt from Brooklen, hand made soap from Brooklyn… what more could a hipster want? On top of that, the staff look like hipsters and even the shelves that display each item look hipster. The two downsides is that everything is hipster prices($ 10 for a chocolate bar from Brooklyn) and if you aren’t dressed like a hipster, you may feel out of place. Other than that, definitely stop by Salt and Sundry after you get a latte from Peregrine at the other side of the market.

I am a total sucker for these type of shops — Salt & Sundry is owned by Amanda McClements; this urban bohemian-esque store offers unique/whimsical items for the table, the home, for the bar, candles, products for the body(like chapstick), and even nibbles & sweets. I especially love their candle votives, hand-stitched decorative pillows, the greeting card collection, as well as the milk glass cups: D The staff here are oh-so-pleasant and really lets you to peruse the store, kindly reminding you to let them know of any assistance that you may need. It was so cool to hear that the owner’s father creates the shop’s one-of-a-kind tables and shelves that display the store products! Definitely check this little gem out — I know that I’ll be purchasing/hoarding their items for my future home: D +unique/whimsical house décor/goods

I feel like I could shop until I drop at that store. Unfortunately, it’s pretty pricey. I would settle only to buy one or two stuff at a time. I loved their mint kitchen stuff. I bought one to match the cake tier I got at my bridal shower. I would continue to shop there, just not shop to drop :) (I’m eyeing the peony candle. Next time, yes?)

Salt & Sundry is an adorable shop with an apropos name. A variety of kitchen and bath products are offered, including a number of items for your home bar. Maldon sea salt is sold, so I try to keep that in mind, as I often run out and like to remember the places I can buy it. Though I’ve not yet found much for myself, I’ve bought some special gifts here, and always look forward to perusing this shop. I’ve never had any staff interactions, and the small space is often quite crowded, so be prepared.

I love that this is one of the few places at Union Market that does not sell food. Instead, Salt & Sundry offers beautiful and unique items for the house. Their furniture is on sale and is made by the owner’s father. Beautiful hand-crafted stuff that is expensive, but one of the employees last Saturday gave me a sheet of paper with info on custom furniture and went over the details — awesome customer service! In addition, despite all the customers in the store, I was asked for help at least one other time and saw other employees helping customers. It’s clear the items are curated and selected for their quality and novelty. I will say a lot of the stuff is pricey and similar items might be found at Anthropologie, but I really am digging this alternative to the other vendors at Union Market.

Good selection of nicknacks and whatnots — nothing you need, but simply gotta have. Note to store: Amp up the glassware to go with your other bar essentials.

Salt and Sundry is a fun store, offering a variety of domestic and home goods from candles to table linens. It’s a perfect place to pick up an original gift for someone hard to shop for or to find a lot of unique home accents. I’ll be back!

MYHEAVEN. The only downside is that I want to buy everything. Prices are all over the place because they probably come from different vendors. Some stuff is cheap and some is ridiculous.

Hard to believe that I’ve never been to Union Market before, much less this little gem inside. I could have easily finished Christmas shopping for myself while I was in there, but satisfied myself by buying presents for family. A fantastic store where you can pick up some great items. Think about it like Cost Plus on steroids. Much classier, much more unique. Locally focused. Looking for a gift for someone that’s hard to shop for(and likes bar or kitchen things)? It’s a great place to head. Or come shop for yourself if you fit that criteria.

A store to fit any girl’s whimsy. Shop here if you are looking for: + An astonishing amount of gourmet bitters and mixers + A lovely and unique gift for your mother, aunt or sister + Sweet, locally focused letter pressed cards + Inspiration on how to live the good life Opened by Metrocurean’s Amanda Clements, this shop is sure to delight any domestic diva. Basically take the homeware section of Anthropologie and add a local, small business owned flair to it and you have Salt & Sundry! I am completely and utterly obsessed.

I went in to the store because they had an open management position and was really impressed with the store! It has lots of really great items! I especially love all the bar items. They have a great selection of flavored bitters, cool glassware and accessories! I really loved their candle selection too! Go check out this store! You will not be disappointed!

Super cute little store in Union Market featuring candles(really cool, local, and expensive ones!), dish towels, tablecloths, table wear, gifts, bitters, mixers, etc. They played some pretty chill music and the lights were low. It was a good atmosphere to shop in while ambling between food locations. The staff was nice and we’ll be back. :)
