These caneles are everything you want from a dessert; #1 — delicious. Not overly sweet, one-of-a-kind flavor. Awesome crisp outside and soft inside. Chocolate covered for those who can’t call it desert without chocolate, but my favorite are original. #2 — attractive. The canele’s simple two-bite size is elegantly shaped without a lot of sprinkles/frosting hoopla. They’re packaged beautifully so they make the perfect gift if you can stand not to eat them all first! #3 — easy. Delivered right to your door and still affordable!

If you are crazy about pastries, this guy makes some dang good pastries. In fact, so good he makes only one kind, the canelé, and delivers them locally to the Washington DC metro area.
The canelé is an inside whose consistency is somewhere between a custard and a cake surrounded by the most delicious crunchy sugar shell I’ve ever tasted. These bite sized treats are out of control good, so if you’re ordering them to share make sure you order enough.
