Phil’s service is simply as good as it gets. He’s saved my computer, and many of my co-workers a number of times. A problem that would have destroyed my computer to no return, Phil fixed in a matter of minutes. And to top it all off, he always does things in a timely manner.

The worst company I have dealt with in my entire life, computer related or not. That may sound harsh, but the last two weeks have been hell. My computer’s problem was physical– a piece holding the charger up had fallen into the fan, making it difficult to charge and creating an annoying grinding noise. Simple, right? The guy gives me a four day estimate and says it’ll be $ 170. Then, a couple days later, he says the fan will up the cost to $ 280. I’m a little pissed, but whatever, that’s fine. Then, nothing. I don’t hear from them for a week, long past their deadline. I start calling and texting frantically, since I was just hired for a position for which a computer was mandatory. For the last three days, they have told they would deliver my computer at a certain day, and did not even give me warning they would not. Eventually they admit(they didn’t volunteer this information) that the first fan they ordered wasn’t a good fit, and they needed to order a proper one. That’s fine, just get it working. Why couldn’t they tell me this in the first place? Finally, at MY prodding, not theirs, they tell me my computer will be ready today. So, after two weeks, they return it, and I find out they DIDN’T FIXANYTHING. My charger is still messed up, the griding noise is still there. No fans were ordered, period. This isn’t just unprofessional, it’s pathetic. If you enjoy needless stress and broken computers, go to SOS.

These people save my life every time something goes wrong with my computer that puts my data at risk! I called them many times for: removal of viruses that rendered my pc unusable, repairing/replacing my laptops hard drive and cd drive, and replacing my laptop screen. All excellent work that didn’t cause me problems ever again! Very knowledgeable staff that explains in detail the work needed to be done and promptly schedules an appointment where THEYCOMETOYOURHOME!!! Prices are also very cheap considering Geek Squad charges $ 180+/hr(Geek Squad charges $ 299 for in-home virus and spyware removal that cost me only $ 100 with SOS — yeah). I can’t tell you the number of times Geek Squad/Micro Center has messed my computer up — only to have me call SOS Computer Repair to fix it for less than a quarter of the price. One of the most helpful businesses in the Metro area for sure!
