So glad this Starbucks is within walking distance to my workplace! They normally get my order right each and every time and the staff is very helpful and attentive. THEONLY downside is the extremely long lines/wait time in the mornings– but that seems to be out of their control. Seating(and even standing) space is quite limited and there are several office buildings and a metro stop nearby, so the foot traffic is constant. Gladly updating my review from last time.

The Worst Starbucks in my life. Starbucks should be ashamed of this location.

The drink is always consistently good; the service is consistently slow. Expect to stand in line for a while, expect to repeat your drink to the barista a few times, and get comfortable waiting on them to make it.

Some things got better here, I guess. Some co-workers kept dragging me here and I noticed a bit of improvement in the service. They still fuck up my order more often than I’d like, but it puts them on par with other Starbucks locations.

I don’t understand why this starbucks only has 2 stars… I really enjoyed the employees’ energy in the morning. I’m here on a business trip and it’s been refreshing to see happy people, willing to make you smile when you’re just buying a coffee, so early in the morning…

This is one of the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The staff are unfriendly, slow, and inaccurate. You can tell they all hate their jobs. I’ve been coming here for 4 months, 5 days a week, same drink and they still don’t know my name or drink. Pathetic service! If I wasn’t so invested in getting my drink stars I would go somewhere else, even the sleazy McDonalds down the street lol.

I’ve been to most Starbucks in DC. This place’s product is no better or worse than any other Starbucks. Their problem is that they are slow. The slowest Starbucks I’ve been to in DC, by a big margin. Other reviewers said they mess up orders and that the staff members are rude. I haven’t found that to be the case. They’re fine. They’re just slow. I have to think this is something that some better management might help, but I’ve been going to this place for a couple of years now and it hasn’t gotten better.

I’ve been by this Starbucks a couple of times, and it’s not bad. Every seat is consistently taken, so I always grab my coffee and go. I went today, and they were out of vanilla syrup, which is just plain wrong. No Vanilla Macchiato for me this afternoon… sad times!

Great atmosphere and location. Often times, too many laptops open and tables taken and no patronage by those studying. Why not charge them an hourly Internet usage rate? Staff is friendly and courteous. Usually staffed well during the busy times.

I’ve been so sleepy all day… Caught myself yawning like 54 times today… I always want Starbucks when I’m on the run and its summer time… This is literally one of the weirdest Starbucks… there’s about ten places in union station where you can grabs a quick coffee to go… But for some reason people are willing to stand forthy mintures for a Starbucks coffee says alot… The serivce is extramily slow and sloppy… not really worth the wait if you ask me… I usually grab a green tea frap during the spring/summer time… pretty good brevage to Quince your thirst during a hot summers day… the green tea fap is it’s very sweet… has a nice smooth taste… it doesn’t taste bitter like hot green tea at all… It contains a milk base… and has melon syrup as well as the green tea powder(matcha)… I’m getting one at union station too bad there limited to seating and outlets… what a disappointment… They serve it in a clear cup and it’s a cool green color that everyone in there right mind would clearly notices!

Extremely rude/unfriendly staff. I will never go back here. Was made to feel like the biggest moron for having a crack in my iced latte cup… Was provided no apologetic words(which I didn’t really need), but was instead given the most unpleasant stare down from the barista while I mopped up the spilled latte… As if she was DARING me to ever step foot in her cold, unwelcoming Starbucks ever again. Welp, she got her wish.

Great Starbucks location for folks that work, live or play in the area. The baristas are always very friendly and helpful when undecided. They also make a mean moca frap! The only drawback can be the line. It’s really long in the morning before 10, but lightens up around 11. Other than the line, it’s all good.

Writing a review for Starbucks seems silly but I frequent this Starbucks and have to say it’s the best service I’ve gotten on a consistent basis at a SB. Often times my order is upgraded to a larger size for free or they give me a free tall coffee. This may be because I come in at least twice a week, but I’m thinking that’s not too often compared to the Starbucks religious. I am surprised by some of the others reviews on the service– I will say I am before the morning rush crowd due to my early start at work.

The worst Starbucks ever. The cashier acted as if taking our order was sucking the life out of his soul. My boyfriend was asking questions about the different drinks and another employee was laughing at him and making fun of him to the cashier right in front of us. Then, the girl who was laughing got both of our drinks wrong. Obviously, I won’t be back.

I felt the need to update my review because I can tell they really are trying to improve their service. They still have 1 – 2 employees who scowl and snap at everyone(if you go here frequently you know exactly who I’m talking about)), but the rest of the staff is fantastic. The biggest problem with this location is something completely out of the employees’ control; it’s WAY too small for the number of office buildings it services. Lines frequently can be out the door.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The service is rude. I have given it several chances because of its location… but I am DONE!

Why are the cashiers here so surly and rude? Really, how hard is it to take an order? Do you get paid more to act like an ass? I tried to avoid this Starbucks but gave it another try since it’s been a while and I was hoping they had some staff turnover. Unfortunately, service here still sucks.

Popped in for an iced coffee. They were out, and offered a iced americano instead. I immediately chuckled… didn’t a local coffee shop owner throw a customer out of his store for trying to order one of those?! I mentioned to the«barista» that I was pretty sure that icing an americano would ruin the espresso. He assured me that it was THESAMETHING. Since, as he ‘splained, the iced coffee was brewed from the the same espresso roast beans(never mind that one comes out of a $ 27 percolator and the other out of a $ 1,600 high tech machine). Anyway, I’d never actually tried an iced espresso, and was curious to know if it really made a difference or if the distinction was just academic coffee snobbery. Well… that was the worst cup of coffee I have on memory. It tasted like horrible bitter acid pee. So much for giving them the benefit of the doubt. I used to know many a barista who worked at many a Starbucks, and they were all well informed and good at their jobs. I guess that Starbucks doesn’t train anymore?

I’ll say it once, I’ll say it a thousand times– Starbucks coffee taste like the iron residue that forms around old bathtub faucets. It’s got a real dingy subtly of clay mixed with artificial syrups. A winning combination if you ask me. Alas, despite my dislike of their actual product, I find myself duped quite often by their army of convenient locations. This location feels really tiny. There are only about 3 tables inside and a long«bar» area along one of the walls. The smallness of it makes it VERY quiet. A friend and I stopped in one Saturday morning. We were hoping to sit inside because it was tirelessly hot outside. The quietness drove us out to one of the 4 or 5 tables on the sidewalk. If you need a place to study or read with very minor distractions, this would be a good location except for the fact that they very limited«comfy» seating and space in general. The employees were completely unmemorable. In fact, I don’t even remember if they were men or women. I ordered an ice coffee which is hard to mess up and my friend ordered a passion fruit drink that turned out to be not so great. Super Mehhhh.
