Subway

Girl took my order, had an attitude. I asked her if i could use this coupon. She took the coupon out of my hand with her gloves still on and was like «i guess so». Really? That is unsanitary and rude. She seemed pissed off and probably wasn’t having a good day! You have to be polite and friendly to people if they are giving you the same!

I’ve been eating at this subway for five years. It’s always had a friendly and clean environment. But the last few months I am not sure what is going on. The staff is RUDE, the bathrooms stink like pee, there was no soap today in either bathroom. I ordered food anyways, which I now regret! I always order the same veggie footlong but today I only ordered a six inch, I’m pretty sure my order was rang up wrong because I paid more then I normally pay. I asked the girl if she was sure it was rang up right, but she only said, «no»! What does no even mean?! I let it go. Then I went to sit down there were only three other people in the store eating, and every table was trashed. It looked like children ran around throwing food. Not one table was clean for me to sit at. At this point I didn’t mind, I figured the lunch rush had just ended and they didn’t have a chance to get out to wipe them down. So I asked the lady if she would please clean a table, she handed me a dry napkin and said what! I asked her if she could please come around with a towel and cleaner, I even said if she’d hand me the stuff I’d do it. I literally stood there for five minutes while she gave me attitude and came around and barely cleaned anything, with a dry napkin and wiped everything to the floor. This subway was awful, last time I came in the lady had her son behind the counter by the food picking his nose. I do believe it is safe to say this subway is not clean and cannot be trusted. I will be telling everyone in my building. Mainly the attitude did it for me. It deserves no stars, but it won’t allow me to post without at least one.

I’m a huge SUBWAY fan but I have to say most stores I’ve been to, the staff do not provide customer service good enough. However, today, this location really shined me. The two ladies worked there were very friendly and they kept their work station clean and tidy. Even though I was just in for a quick bite, I still feel warmly welcomed and served. Maybe it’s funny to say this but yes this is one of the locations I’ll definitely go back.

This Subway is quickly accessed from WMATA’s Metro Center subway station. It is also a short walk from the Federal government offices a few blocks away.
The seating is adequate, the service is totally fine, and the subs taste great.

Tried to get breakfast sandwiches with my son on a Saturday at about 11:30 am. Worker said they only serve breakfast until 11 am. We pointed out that she was standing right under a sign that advertised the breakfast subs and said «Served All Day». I wasn’t smart enough to ask her to pose for a picture under that sign… We just walked out.

Fast, friendly service, free WIFI, and the location is inside a building so no waiting outside if the line is long. They could use a little more seating inside though.
