UGH! Found THREELONG black strands of hair in the sandwich. Disgusting. The sandwich maker just doesn’t listen to the customer, and gets angry when told otherwise. Just stay away.

Peaks at mediocre. Rather than listen to customer, sandwich maker makes decisions for customer. Had a hard time finding meat in sandwich. Good news was I did not become ill, but I won’t go back to haughty sandwich guys unless I must.

So yesterday I went to this subway after a long day at work. The first thing I come in contact with is a frowning employee. This is not something anyone wants to see when they walk into a restaurant. So I brushed it off. Then I get cheated on my toppings. That’s a bummer. And to make matters worse I get home and to eat the sub for dinner only to find out that my bread was stale! Argggh this was so dissapointing!

So disorganized and DISGUSTING. I got there and the line was out of the door. But I waited, only to first be ignored by a confused lady taking orders, then they toasted my sandwich without asking me and put cheese on it… HELLO, not everyone wants cheese. When said«I didnt want cheese», the guy just tossed off the melted cheese. At the cashier there was some confusion among the staff about whose sandwich was whose so they had to reopen and examine mine. When I got to start eating it there was a short black HAIR in my food. I have long brown hair. This is absolutely gross and inexcusable. Save yourselves!!! There are so many other quick options in the area. Just go to Bethesda Bagels across the street. or anywhere else !

This location really reflects poorly on the Subway franchise, which I generally really like. First time I came in here they were kicking out some homeless man in a less than compassionate manner. All the while, they were treating me like my patronage was an imposition on them. He kept trying to close up my sub when I wasn’t done adding things. Second time I came in, again slow inattentive service even though I was the only one there. It was like the workers felt they were too good for their jobs. I ordered my sub and the guy put it on the wrong bread. Which we only realized after baking it. He then transferred the cooked teriyaki steak and cheese onto my new uncooked bread. These people simply just don’t seem to care about customer service and they don’t even seem like decent people, unfortunately it’s a convenient location for me and I still manage to make out with a cheap, good, relatively predictable sub.

Standard Subway but SUPERSTINGYONTHECONDIMENTS! Come on people, I don’t expect the best customer service at a fast food place but I do expect some veggies on my sub, especially when I ask for more after being short served. Just bought a footlong and only got 2 pickles. They barely put spinach on so I asked for more and got 3 leafs! 3 leafs??? Step up your game!

I asked for a salad, and I received chopped up condiments. I asked them to place more lettuce in the bowl, to which they responded«there is already lettuce». You would think that Subway would be standardized, but this one sucks.

It is like most subways, except they don’t(or ran out of) have shredded cheese and the sodas in the fridge were warm. The rest is exactly as you would expect in a city Subway: small, not the cleanest, and your average subway food.

Terribly unfriendly employees, extremely tight-fisted with toppings. I came in for a breakfast sandwich at 7:30am. Asked for cucumber and she gave me exactly 1 slice, so I asked for 1 more and she refused, saying«you only get one.» WTF?

Subway is what it is. Within the world of Subway franchises I think this one is average and meets all regular franchise expectations, including the DC expectation of there not being a lot of seating room. Overall: Short lines, consistent quality and easy to bulk order for events. I come here pretty often because it’s a block from where I live. Tip: Oh, and if you need to bulk order food for an event, this is a pretty cheap alternative. I ordered 50 subs of three varieties and the order process was super fast and easy. You write down what you want on a blank piece of paper, the manager takes the average price of your sandwiches and rounds down to give you a bulk discount. Easy.

These guys filled an old chemical spray bottle with water, covered most of the label with white tape(which was transparent), and used it to moisten the dough before they baked it. I’m assuming the heat would volatilize any residual chemicals, but where else are they spraying this chemical-laced water? When I tried explaining that it was a bad idea to use old chemical bottles on food, they looked at me like I was crazy. For your own health, avoid this place like the plague.

I feel the need to write a review bc this is THEWORST Subway I have been to. I don’t mind the group of homeless ppl holding court in the back. I’m a city girl and the homeless gotta eat, chill and read a newspaper, nap in a warm place too. What I found off putting was the concerted effort to skim on the ingredients. I literally had 4 pieces of shredded lettuce, 3 black olives. Neva again.

Subway is subway. Nothing here really wows you. Boring atmosphere and food. The $ 5 hoagie is always a nice option, but its just not as good as other sub shops. A visit to Subway is kind of something I do once a year to try something new but normally leave dissappointed. The new breakfast sandwiches. tried 2, not bad, but definitely not good. There’s not many other options in the area for na quick breakfast, so it does the job.

Usually a fan of grabbing a Subway sandwich before a long road trip on the weekends I was really disappointed by my latest and last visit to this location. I ordered a chicken six inch sub and a few hours later became very ill. After throwing up the Subway I felt like 100% so I have my suspicions.

Someone correct me on this if I’m completely nuts, but I’ve never seen vegetarian burger patties or seafood salad at a Subway before. Granted, I’ve only been to branches in Cali and Ireland, but still… I thought this was totally odd. And did prices go up everywhere? A week ago, all footlongs were five bucks in LA. ??? I struck up a conversation with the guy behind the counter. Although entertaining, it was quiet strange. Every now and then I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times, because I couldn’t understand what he was saying on account of his accent. He asked me how they get the bread in LA and if they make it. I think I was just caught off guard with this question, because it was weird. He then asks me if I’m Mongoiian. ??? I think I look White. If anything, people ask me if I’m Japanese or Chinese. But Mongolian??? I don’t even know anyone who’s from Mongolia! I was totally confused by this, because it seemed like a really underrepresented group with which he was associating me. Chances are, most people are not going to respond in the affirmative. Or maybe I just really look like I am… Oh, and yay for being open until 3am on Friday and Saturday!

I don’t know what it is that draws me back, time and time again, to Subway, in a neighborhood filled with good sandwich shops. Could it be the $ 5 foot-long deal($ 5.50 w/tax)? The ability to pile pepperoncinis on the sandwich after you explain to the person behind the counter that you mean the«banana peppers»? Maybe its because of the convenient location, across the street from my office? I don’t really have a good answer, but Subway has had me brainwashed for years into thinking its the best deal around. Ultimately, how can I say no to a sandwich that is big enough to be broken into two smaller, equally happy lunches? I guess I can’t. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go have the second 6-inches of my Cold Cut Combo.

Thanks to Jared for inspiring me to start eating healthy at Subway… Actually no. I came here because the lunch line at Potbellies was ridic long and out the door even. My friends and I wanted sandwiches so it was either Quiznos or Subway but since we were too lazy to cross the street again we decided on Subway. I’m glad I came to Subway. the sub was pretty good. I got a 6 inch with ham and cheese &EXTRA peppers and peppercinis! so good. I added to soda, chips, and a chicken noodle soup. I wish they toasted my sub but they said they can only do that for hot sandwiches.

Oh hey, thanks Subway guy. I didn’t asked for my sandwich to be toasted, but thanks for taking the initiative and doing it anyway. And I said peppers in that sub. Peppers. Peppers. Pep. that’s fine. If you still aren’t going to put peppers in the sub, then that’s cool. I don’t know what past traumatic experiences you’ve had with peppers. Who am I to force you to relive some condiment nightmare? Do I want to eat my sandwich here? In this closet? Wait, that’s the eating area? Oh, well I think I’ll take it outside. Thanks though.
