The UPS Store

I visit this store a lot in the past 2 years, I must say the customer service now compared to May of this year is excellent. The new ownership and leadership at this store are really doing a wonderful job catering to customers needs. The new owner has bought me a poster from his other location, the store manager is always nice, and a employee he is fairly new is always helpful and makes the customers feel welcome. They are doing a great job building the trust of a lot of former customers that wouldn’t come to the store anymore because of bad customer service. Keep up the great work and thank you for making my neighborhood UPS store friendly and a great place to frequent again

The customer service of this location exceeded my expectations. I was in a real jam and the store manager helped me out by printing my resume from his personal account. Apparently this location has new management. They are efficient and costumer oriented. Too bad I live in New Orleans, otherwise I would frequent this location.

Would rate a zero if I could. Waited in line 20 minutes just for him to tell me that he wouldn’t ship USPS. Terrible service and questionable business practices.

I went to this UPS store to get an estimate for printing and binding a large document. The store owner provided me with an estimate, but when I returned the next day he charged me $ 25 MORE than his initial estimate. The store owner refused to refund my money. Finally, the store owner agreed to refund the amount that would bring my charges to his initial estimate, but when I asked for the initial estimate my goal was to avoid paying too much for such a simple task. I would not have done business with this store owner AT ALL if I had been provided with a true estimate and I will NEVER do business with this store in the future. The store owner treated me as if I’d made a mistake. Word of advice: The customer is always right.

This is by far the worst ups experience. They charge for you to use the computer to print on top of insane prices for normal printing using normal paper. Charged me $ 10 for 10 pages. The employees are always on their phone as well and don’t care at all. Don’t go there or ups from now on. FedEx is much better.

Two tales to tell about this store’s horrible customer service.
1. UPS Stores are supposed to accept UPS packages. One day, our office pickup was missed and we had to take about 15 packages down there. They accepted them but called us the next day and told us we could never do that again.
2. The name of the store is the UPS Store. For two months, they’ve had a sign that says no UPS service. I asked how packages would be sent. «Fedex». They had some sort of spat with UPS that he wouldn’t get into. It was very shady. Refused to take my prepared UPS box.
I expect little of these franchises. This one fails even that low standard.

As of 5÷26÷2015 this is NOT a UPS store; they refuse to take UPS packages because «their system is down». I assumed it was a temporary problem and asked when the system would be fixed. They said in a couple of months, and I think they said they stopped taking packages a few weeks ago!
This place is great if you want to be overcharged for envelopes.

Surprised this store has such bad reviews.
Does it make sending a package feel like a trip to the spa? No. Do they accept your packages and make them get to their destinations? Yes.
I think this business is perfectly serviceable. I’m an entirely satisfied repeat customer.

The staff is laconic and apathetic. Not particularly helpful either. It’s unclear what the pricing scheme is here, although scheme seems like the right description. They charge $ 1/​page to print and there is a minimum charge of $ 5 to use a credit card. There’s a chance the staff may have messed with the contents of my box when I was checking on my print job. Yeah, this is just a sad place to experience.
Upon review of the PopCopy skit, Frenchie G is right on.

I have gone to the store with a shopping cart filled with paintings and a quite large albeit collapsible leather chair and footstool to send off — they packed all items most carefully, they arrived in pristine condition and it took me less than 15 minutes! I’ve used the store to pack and/​or ship/​mail items for three years now and they’ve never been less than courteous, fast, and responsive in every way. Yes, they can be busy, but I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes (literally), before I was greeted with a smile and helpful attitude. They also do their best to give the customer the choice of the least expensive way of shipping items.
Maybe it’s also to do with the customer’s attitude? The very nice people that work in the store and have been supremely helpful to me may have a human side. I know I do and I would react adversely if someone just comes in and makes demands in an imperious way. For those customers who wrote a less than complimentary review, I may recommend an attitude check.

Have you ever seen the Dave Chappelle skit about Pop Copy? this is that store.

Probably one of the worst UPS locations I’ve visited. The staff here is very unmotivated and seems to participate in some sort of price gouging. The prices they charge are always radically different to those advertised on the website.

Terrible UPS store. Wanted Notary services. Called in advance to be sure they had them. They said yes. Went to the store and was told by Frank, the notary to wait. I waited over 10 minutes. Other customers came in the store and were served in that time. I eventually went to back to the desk and asked again for the notary. He said everyone in the store has to be served before notary services. I said that was ridiculous considering they offer notary services on the front of the store. I told him I was going to complain. He looked at me and without checking his credentials, said, «My commission is expired.» This means that he specifically denied service because I complained. Terrible customer service.

I brought in some documents for shredding. The shredder that they have is very inefficient, so I would not do this again. However, if you feel comfortable leaving your documents in the store and coming back later, then the shredding service will work well for you.
