I’ve been to the Tin Heaven truck twice now. They specialize in Italian Beef, a standout of Chicago cuisine that I haven’t seen much outside of Chicago. They have all of the traditional toppings(giardinera, sweet peppers, au jus) and non-traditional as well(mushrooms, garlic rosemary aioli). Their Italian Beef is quite good and perfectly moist, comparable to most of the Italian Beef I’ve had in Chicago. And, they serve their Italian Beef dry/not dipped(i.e. the bread is not dipped in the hot au jus), which makes for a cleaner, if slightly less delicious, eating experience. They also serve roasted turkey sandwiches but I’ve yet to try those.
