This place was really given a business license. Went to celebrate a friend’s 30th birthday. The female security searched you she was your girlfriend telling you that you couldn’t bring cigarettes or lighters in. During the celebration other outsiders not apart of the party was let into the club, which a lot of the guys bought in lighters and Marijuana smoking throughout the club. You could barely move, and get a drink. Stay away!

**Penthouse 9** Don’t Go! I have been to many lounges but this one by far was the worse! Drinks were over priced and watered down, the water did NOT work in the womans bathroom, and upon walking in and looking around the bathroom; one of the girls working decided to open the bathroom door without knocking to ask if everything was okay! NOITWASNT… The party that I arrived with was then told that our table was in the back, we were seated for maybe 30min to an hour when a rough looking guy with a pair of timbs walks over and requests that we move over for another party!!! Our table was paid for before theirs, and I know this because I watched the young lady pay for a «hookah», I was told that in order to sit where we were you had to purchase a bottle! I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHATHOLEINTHEWALL! I am not sure how the other levels are ran but if its anything like Penthouse 9, its a dump as well!

Hot mess!!! They wanted to charge to get in… and then made an attempt to charge us $ 20 to get in the event upstairs… I knew a bouncer so I got in free but was unsuccessful getting upstairs. The place was pretty much empty and the crowd was chill though… I became irritated and was eager to leave.

They have an excellent happy hour on tuesdays ½ of food and $ 5 dollars drinks omg its the shit it is empty in here tho i guess lack of promotion and advertising but nonetheless good food, cheap drinks, and great music lol. I dont know why this place isn’t packed with broke college students but 4 stars for me it would have been 5 stars if there were more people but im sure it will come around…

Is this place still open? Trying to call about a groupon and the phone isn’t in service and I also tried emailing, but no response? Therefore, they get 1 star for poor communication.

Went here for open bar. Was given a drink and then told that I was ONLY allowed one drink for open bar. I just recently turned 21 but I just thought that was so strange that there was a limit on an open bar! The lower level of the place is nice, a cute little set up with the white couches. Nice music playing. But there were fruit flies all around when I was at the bar, it was super gross.

I don’t know how long this place has been open but I can’t imagine it will stay open much longer if it continues the way it is currently set up. I went on a Saturday night and I was literally the first person to walk through the door, over the course of a couple of hours I don’t think the place even made it to 50% full and the people that did show up were all over the place. You had people my mother’s age there and some looked even older than that. Apparently there is no dress code because some people had on sneakers, hats and others had on cocktail dresses, it was all over the place. This place is incredibly hot, apparently their air condition doesn’t work even a little bit so it made for an uncomfortable night as you couldn’t enjoy yourself or even dare to dance for fear of a heat stroke. Their attempt to cool people down resulted in one big fan being put at the front of the room but that little to nothing to ease the heat. As a result nobody was dancing and most people were sitting on the edge of the VIP area as it is a raised platform. The water in the bathroom didn’t work and even if it did they didn’t have any paper towels anyway. The DJ kind of sucked, there is no reason for any DJ to replay songs, in about 2 hours or a little more I heard at least 3 songs twice, not cool at all my friend. About the only decent things about this place is staff were friendly, Boyz in the Hood was playing on the TV, they had an open bar between 10 and 11 and a couple of my drinks were made strongly. Definitely will not be making a return visit to Vita Lounge.

Went to Penthouse 9 for for a birthday party and was really disappointed. Early in the night I waited almost 10 minutes for a bartender to show up. Once he did show up, I was shocked to learn that the beers were $ 7 each. I don’t mind paying that much for a nice, established place… Penthouse 9 is neither. As the place got more crowded, the service got even worse. I saw someone wait almost 30 minutes to close out their tab. Definitely won’t be going back.

This is a review for Penthouse 9, which is their upstairs portion. Their website reads: «The top floor, Penthouse Nine, will provide the discerning connoisseur’s palate with the service and quality expected of the best premium lounges and liquors from around the world. Brick walls, whiskey barrels galore, premium liquor gurus, hookah, and a courteous, informed staff work together to create an atmosphere tied together by the best sounds in electronic music.» Ummmm, no. Their liquor selection is mediocre at best and their bartenders had next to no knowledge of the liquors that they did have. We were asking for whiskey recommendations, but the bartenders either weren’t willing or weren’t able explain anything, just saying, «They’re all good, I don’t know how to describe them.» And this wasn’t because they were super busy — we were the only ones there at the time. The only whiskey the bartender actually named was the Johnnie Walker Black. Instead, he insisted on making a cocktail for us, which he didn’t know the name for when we asked him what he was going to make, and ended up being way too sweet and way too expensive for what we got. Maybe if you are the type of person who likes to shell out a bunch of cash for mediocre cocktails and expensive bottle service in a fancy looking lounge just to feel cool, then this is the place for you. This place would be 1 star, but I’ll give an extra star because the space is very nice, and they did just open. This place has potential to be great if they got their act together.
