This place is really cool. Just took a baconator 6,99 $ quite expensive. But so good! The staff is cool! I appreciated the place.

Food isn’t bad! But it ALWAYSTAKE30 mins or more to get through the drive through. What’s the purpose of fast food?!?

I’ve been here several times and this has to be slowest Wendy’s on the planet. Simple things like missing straws and napkins are commonplace.

This place continues to be plagued by atrocious drive through service. Incredibly slow and incompetent.

For your own sanity, just don’t do this. I was very hungry, so i decided to stop by and grab a burger b/c why not right? The amount of people there was appalling. The place wasn’t very clean either. It took me a considerable amount of time to receive my meal, the cashier was rude/uninterested and the most annoying part of it all was how long it took me to be able to drive out of that place. Nah. Don’t do it.

Worst parking lot of the year. Worst traffic of the year. For some reasons, I do not really understand why this restaurant established in the middle of traffic. I tend to be frustrated to enter this location. The workers need to be retrained or terminated because they took forever to deliver my FOOD! I hope to see the huge improvement of their customer service.

I waited in a relatively short line for forever(4 people, 10 minutes) and they got my order wrong. Slow service during non-rush hour + wrong order = 2 stars

I swung by here last night on the way home from an IKEA/Target run in College Park. And I could only muster eating half of the Spicy Chicken filet. Horrible chicken quality(stringy veins found!) plus mushy, white(not red!) tomatoes. Was anxious to get home and juice some organic veggies to cleanse & flush out this processed rubbish stat! This particular sandwich reminded me of many of the scenes in Food Inc.

I go to this place all the time because it is close to me. That said, it is apparently poorly managed. The lines are the slowest I’ve ever witnessed at a Wendy’s, and often their stuff breaks. Just recently their soda machine broke for several days(since basically every customer wants soda, you would think they would fix this on the first day).

had a junior cheeseburger and small lite lemonade here tonight as a fast fill-up while doing evening errands. Service was fast, new striping in the parking lot makes drive-thru a lot easier as this place is in the middle of what has to be one of the busiest intersections in Washington DC. I go here because it is so busy so you know the food is freshly cooked and not been sitting in rancid fat for hours. Also the order taker is very friendly and patient and the staff always smile. You’d think more fast food places would realize we don’t want to be growled at when we do drive thru. Cheeseburger bun was light and fresh, burger had cheese slice and pickles and onions and mustard and placed well, lemonade was sweeter than I like but it worked. Wish I’d got some fries too but trying to avoid the calories…

I’m giving 2 stars because this Wendy’s will fail in every way possible, except one: The food is always decent. Unfortunately even at a Wendy’s, customers have more expectations than hot food. The biggest detractor at this Wendy’s is how long it takes to get through the line. If you’re inside, and there’s two to three people in front of you, it’s entirely possible that you’re still 40 minutes away from getting your food. This restaurant seems to be at full staff at all times, often with 4 or 5 employees visible from the counter, not counting the kitchen staff. They all move in masterfully nuanced slow motion. What takes 6 grown adult employees 8 minutes to accomplish at this Wendy’s can generally be done in half the time by 2 or 3 exceptionally high teenagers working in the ‘burbs. Last night in particular, I stopped here while biking my girlfriend home from work at 11pm. After waiting in line for 15 minutes and failing to see even one single customer complete an order from start to finish, we walked out, went home, and cooked dinner. From scratch. We were eating before midnight, which I’m pretty sure beat the line at Wendy’s by at least 6 minutes. other detractors: Bathroom door broken. No place to park bicycles. Too many panhandlers. Too many crazy, loud, aggressive people. Frequently dirty restrooms. Funky smells in dining room(technically, this is probably due to the large number of bums who are regulars here) other positives: polite, friendly staff When i see a business like this actively drive customers away from the store(for years), I begin to suspect that the owners are involved in shady or illegal activity. It doesn’t make sense to intentionally run a shitty Wendy’s unless you’re trying to lose money, abuse tax code, etc. It’s also very easy to at least run an average Wendy’s. The chain is almost turn-key. The sort of active negligence that exists at this Wendy’s is inexplicable unless the owners are only using the business as a front.

This is quite possibly one of the wackiest Wendy’s on the East coast. The parking lot was recently re-striped in the strangest of ways. On busy nights, an MPD officer directs traffic. In the past, there have been battles, arguments and fights because traffic entering from three points try to cram to the drive-thru at the same time. You can imagine how this mixes in an awful way with all the different types of people roaching their way to Wendy’s from all the nearby drinking holes, row houses, hotels, and overpriced condos. If you choose to eat inside be prepared for a show. You have crack mommas, greased-up prostitutes, loud ghetto girls fighting with«they man», drunk club-goers on their way back to Maryland and Virginia, police officers on extended breaks and various other denizens. Most of the«clean folk» go to the drive-thru. If there’s no show inside, then they’re outside being arrested. Surprisingly, the food service is quick and not rude. Orders that I have placed have always come out correctly and fresh.

This particular Wendys would have gotten 4 stars from me, had this been last year. However, the new traffic pattern and awkward entrances brought it down to two. Typical Wendys, open ’til 4:30 is awesome. Plenty of weird folks in here though.

Reviews for the Sake of Reviewing: Oh Wendy’s … at least you’re open late a night. When all else fails(closed) you offer hope through your drive-thru window. Would I ever come if it wasn’t 11:00pm? No. Would I come I had to brave the new Florida Avenue/New York Avenue detour? No. But desperate times call for desperate measures. Even if it’s just to pick up a Jr. Cheeseburger the size of a White Castle slider. [Last Visit: June 22, 2010]

Ever wish you could order a crappy burger from an employee who is swearing at the drive-through guy while at the same time watch a homeless guy brick out a heroin turd by the dumpster? Yeah? Then this is your kinda’ place. Godspeed my friends, Godspeed.

Oh Wendy’s. You get a star for being open until 430am, always having an awesome assortment of characters and for being within walking distance of where I live. This is standard Wendy’s fare with a side of weirdness. Today I was told they were out of small fry holders and cups and that I had to order medium or large. This was definitely a scam, but after protesting for about a minute, I gave in.
