Our experience was pretty bad. We went on a Wednesday night. There was hardly anyone there. We sat down at a booth and were ignored. The server was cleaning tables right by us and still ignored us. We had to flag him down after 5 – 10 minutes. Ridiculous. I had a chicken wrap and a side salad. The wrap alone cost $ 9. I could have gone to Arby’s and got the same thing for a lot less money and much quicker service. I also could have made it myself at home and it would have been just as good. The atmosphere was really nice and had an open feel. It’s too bad they have such horrible service and overpriced food.

The all-female Bartending staff is terrible. If you aren’t a guy, don’t expect to get served.

Joined friends for a little get together at this establishment by the river. Nice atmosphere and good food and drinks. A bit pricey but we didn’t mind… it was the holidays afer all. Only downside, our table was near the band stage and the loud music made conversation difficult.

Great atmosphere, great food! HUGE projection screen to watch the games, and a great stage for bands. Small menu may be an issue for picky eaters.

I like the huge selection of beers on tap and that they will give you a sample of anything just to get you interested. I‘m liking the grapefruit ale. The food is good too. We went to the new restaurant next door and after standing in line for fifteen minutes, decided to go to Driftwood instead and I‘m glad we did. Immediately sat down at a table of our choice and Chris the waiter helped us out right away.(I hate eating off of a tray and standing in line — Sorry Suger Fire)

Stopped in while we were checking to see if Sugarfire had opened yet. Ordered 2 draft beers, a Stella, and a Blue Moon, that were normal size. The cost $ 12. I realize businesses have to make money, and the huge projector screen is nice for watching the game, but stadium prices in a bar are ridiculous. I can understand paying more for exotic import beers, but not beers that are readily available at any gas station. We would’ve ordered food, but after getting gouged on the beers, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Their prices probably explain why Marquart’s Landing was packed there were about 15 customers at the Driftwood. Vote with your wallet and places of great value and service will thrive, and the rest will subside.

I was there Sunday(10.11) and if you want a lethargic experience, this is the place for you. The food was ok, but the service was slow, no one greeted us and it was 30 minutes before we were fed. Sure I like a slower Sunday, but not like this.

Driftwood has a huge selection of artisan beers on tap, and these folks really know how to serve high quality draft beer. All of the beers we sampled were crisp, distinct in taste, and very good. I appreciate the work needed to properly maintain beer taps; few bars in the metro St. Louis area(mainly brew pubs) do it. Our group had just eaten lunch, so we didn’t try any food. My rating is based on the exceptional selection and taste of their draft beers.

New place! Huge selection of beers. I personally really enjoy the grapefruit beer they have on tap. The food is simple bar food, but with a unique twist. They really set themselves apart from the other joints in town. I love the nachos which have a tasty cheese sauce that isn’t like the Mexican restaurants, but is also not just shredded cheese. They feature white beans; also a little different than usual. My favorite comfort food here is the grilled cheese sandwich. This should be called an «adult» grilled cheese because it’s not your run-of-the-mill sandwich. Sourdough with glazed balsamic onions and fresh spinach with smoked Gouda cheese. Yummo. This comes with their seasoned fries. Also good. I have tried many of their menu items. So far I’ve been pretty pleased. The chicken and waffles is a unique yet flavorful addition to this not so plain Jane bar/restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive. Bonus: The building the bar is in is a historical site. Interesting.
