It is now called The No Wake Zone. No longer a former pool room. We enjoy eating breakfast at The No Wake Zone. The cooks are fun to watch and the food is good to eat. Sometimes they are busy and it is a little slow but that is to be expected to deliver a good tasting and good looking breakfast. We have tried other places in town to eat out for breakfast and they are good, but we always go back to the No Wake Zone.

Low-brow diner not much above Waffle House in quality. Very crowded weekend breakfast time with slow service due to understaffing. If they have billiards, I never saw any tables.

First of all, they have done away with the billiard tables. Makes no difference, this is the best place in Washington to go for a cheap, quick, excellent lunch or breakfast. Warning: they close early so don’t be late! The owner, Michael, and his wife are always there, which ensures made to order, hot, fresh, delicious food. Don’t miss it!

There are very few places to eat in Washington, especially coming from the food snobbery of Raleigh. The food here is good, the home fries are delicious, and I adore the staff. Winning combination.

Don’t miss this little hot spot! Incredible food you have to try the French toast! Best service I’ve ever had! Ask for Danielle and tell her Chad sent you!

The Mecca serves breakfast all day. In a town without a Waffle House, this is quite significant. I went here with my folks this past weekend and was very glad I did. The food came out quickly, and everyone cleaned their plates. Hard to find anything to complain about here.

A wonderful dive in downtown«little Washington». Simple food very well made, fast and fresh with a fun and attentive wait staff. Try the shrimp burger and watch some locals shoot pool in the back.
