We just made our wedding rings with Chris and couldn’t be happier with them — there is something exceptionally special to the idea that we actually, physically made our rings for each other. The workshop in Little Washington is a little off the beaten track but it’s a cute little town and the workshop itself is extremely cozy and welcoming. On top of that, Chris was a pleasure to work with, answered all of our questions, and made sure to keep us on track and fix any thing that we had not done correctly. .. The rings and the actual experience of the day itself both merit a full five stars. However, I’m only giving three stars because the process of setting up an appointment and finalizing a price was so convoluted and, frankly, combative, that we very nearly decided not to make the rings. I was extremely excited when I first heard that the workshop was a possibility but it took about three weeks for the contact person to respond to my initial e-mail requesting an appointment. When I responded to that, he lost my response and didn’t respond at all. The final price we ended up settling on was over three times the initial price he quoted. And, throughout the entire exchange, he would respond but leave off either myself or my fiancé and he adopted a straightforwardly rude tone. Thank heavens we didn’t have to actually work with him on the day-of to make the rings and we got to have a wonderful day that(nearly) made up for it!
