A group of us were making dough for ravioli, by 7:30 pm it was apparently clear that the cooks had had too much wine to complete the meal so Café Sicilia to the rescue. Several orders of ravioli later from the Watauga store our meal was complete. Never done takeout Italian food, you guys to the rescue.

It was alright. I came here last night for dinner and used a groupon. We ordered the artichoke oreganata for an appetizer but my husband and I did not like it. The artichoke was soggy and overcooked. We then ordered a 2 topping large pizza. The pizza was good, nothing special. I had ordered pepperoni and jalopenos on our pizza. The only highlight of the evening was that it was BYOB. I don’t think I’ll return.

We were looking for a new Italian food idea, and ran across Café Sicilia. Not knowing what to expect, or what to order, we ordered off of a few suggestions from our waiter(who was very polite and attentive). Everything was deliciously perfect! The bread was wonderful and fresh. The portions were huge! The Café is not a large place, but was not busy. The entire wait staff was very polite and stopped by to ensure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. You won’t be disappointed visiting Café Sicilia!

Amazing, authentic good with beautiful décor that makes you really feel like you’re in Italy and not in the typical Olive Garden. Love love love the bread rolls they give you as an appetizer, they’re addictive. I had the chicken Parmesan while everyone else got a kind of spaghetti dinner. I’m taking one star off only because we were disappointed to find out that they do not provide any alcohol, not even wine. This was a big surprise for me, especially when we went for a special birthday and the fact that it is an Italian restaurant and they don’t serve wine! So be prepared and bring your own but there are also nearby stores where you can get a bottle. I can’t complain too much because it is cheaper to buy a bottle for a large group rather than buy separate drinks. They do provide glasses. Manager and servers were also very kind and personally went over to our table to make sure we were enjoying things!

Had a great first experience here for dinner! We were greeted warmly once we entered and all the staff here is nice. Our waitress was new to the restaurant and had some trouble giving us information about the specials but she was so sweet and definitely made up for it. I ordered the chicken torrelini(something like that) and husband ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The fettucine noodles were way over cooked the first time around but the kitchen made a new batch and offered us a free dessert. I felt bad for having them make another plate of pasta with better noodles but they were all so sweet about it and apologized. The second fettucine Alfredo was perfect and my husband scarfed it down. We will definitely be coming back here. The food is great and the service here was even better.

6 o’clock on a Saturday night, and there was just us and another table, but within the hour the place filled up quite fully. It is BYOB so bring your favorite, they graciously supply the wine glasses and open the bottle for you. Thanks to Brandy and Kim for making it a wonderful first time at the restaurant, as we used a Groupon to check out the restaurant, a mere 2 miles north of 820 off Rufe Snow. Fantastic garlic knot rolls(be sure to ask for a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping). Please note: this is not fast food, this is real food, so it doesn’t come out 2 minutes after you order. And what food, my wife ordered veal parmigiana, but with a white«creamore» sauce instead of the maranara. It was fork tender and had a really good taste. I did the chicken rollatini, a chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella over pasta with mushrooms and a pink sauce… soooooo cheesy… and soooo good! My wife only ate half of her plate, choosing instead to take the rest home and get the tiramisu… turned out to be a great decision, especially when they also included an extra fork for me to steal a few mouthfuls… it was so light, and so delightful. We will be back, Groupon or not, it looks to be a keeper on our restaurant card!

What a gem! Found it through a Groupon. Wonderful lunch– affordable, between $ 6.50−7.50, includes soup or salad, bread and beverage. When you taste the bread, oh it’s heavenly! Brandy and the manager were both great! Made sure I was taken care of. Love it when I find quality food with excellent service.

I got a pizza and 12 of the rolls. I ordered pickup and I should of check my food before I left because the rolls were burnt and crispy. They were partially black from being burnt. The roles were not even edible. The menu said it was New York style pizza but the crust was very very thin and the dough was very chewy. I wonder if the cooks there know how to make a real New York style pizza. The Italian sausage they had tasted very bad and old I recommend you stay away from that. It was the worst tasting Italian sausage that I ever had. I can’t believe that they would give that kind of quality to their customers. I definitely don’t recommend anyone to go there, especially for pizza. HORRIBLE! DISGUSTING! STAYAWAY!!!

Lots of food for the money. I would pass on the side salad next time(bagged lettuce was ho-hum with their house dressing), but the garlic bread and the main dishes were awesome. Left so full that we will have to come for just dessert sometime! The staff was really nice. Even though they seemed to be understaffed on the night we were there, they were very attentive(but not in your face), and we never had to ask for anything. We will definitely be back!

My wife had chicken parm. Large portion. Fresh tasting red sauce, crispy chicken. I had the seafood Alfredo. This sauce is stunning. Lots of seafood, imitation crab but that is to be expected in the middle of Texas. Seafood was tender and abundant. Thus is a hidden gem and we will be back.

Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. The rolls were amazing. The dinner entrees are large portions. We took food home with us. Very good experience overall.

I had the Guillenos(or whatever it’s called-something along those lines). It was fantastic. However the hostess was kind of rude – apparently the owners daughter. Owner is hilarious and very very nice! But his hostess daughter was… Well. Anyway, my food was great. My friends had an eggplant dish and a lasagna. Lasagna was so so and eggplant was delish. Byob. But my specific dish was SO much food. I have enough for two more meals. Not that I’m complaining but I’m warning you all if you’re sharing with one of your kiddos it will be a three person meal UPDATE: food poisoning, badly.

Not bad. Bread was stale and the salads that come with the meal were so-so. You only had two choices of dressing ranch and a house tomato dressing. I had shrimp in the pink sauce. Noddles were a little over done, shrimp was cooked perfectly and sauce was pretty tasty. They Do Not sell Coke only Pepsi products Yuck! Service was outstanding. I would go back again and try the pizza and the baked pasta. They have some interesting salads on the menu but no description of what’s in the salad.

Been going to the Bedford location for years, have been to the Arlington one a few times. Was so excited to see this location open up near my best friend’s house. The food is very reasonably priced, and you get so much more than your money’s worth. Great atmosphere, very cozy but not crowded, very cute décor. Everything is delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Their garlic knots are INCREDIBLE, their tiramisu is to die for, and their rigatoni vodka is a must-try item. The pizza is delicious, too. The service at this location was terrible. BYOB!

SHORT Version: Good food, pretty good service, nice Italian-themed atmosphere, but hot as hell in here. LONGER Version: Even though this one seems newer and has better atmosphere, I really prefer the Bedford location to this one. This one gets hot inside. We went last night for dinner at 6PM and the temperature was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. I hinted around to the waitress that it was very warm, but she blew me off. Now, I’m not a heavy-set person and, in fact, I am usually cold-natured — but not here. When I couldn’t stand it anymore, I eventually asked the hostess about it and she told me that she would turn down the air. When she returned, she told me that even though the thermostat was set on 72, the actual temperature was 86. She explained that it is due to the large windows on the front of the restaurant — they are inefficient and the owner insists that they keep the blinds drawn all the way up. Unfortunately, the result of that is the afternoon sun heats the place up. So she said it’s typical that it gets warm like that in the summer months. The blinds were down, but open at the time I was there so she closed all of the blinds and told me that she turned the air down lower. By the end of the meal, I could feel that the temperature had dropped, but it was kinda too late as were done eating by then. She was very nice about the whole thing though. As for the food… the complimentary rolls are excellent — well, not for my thighs… but my taste buds looove ‘em. ;-) I ordered the Zuppa di Pesce — it was just ok. I have had the Seafood Fettucine at the Bedford location and I enjoyed it much more. Before my meal they brought me a salad with ranch dressing — while the lettuce was fresh, the salad only consisted of just iceberg lettuce and ranch… womp womp. My youngest son had the kids’ fettucine alfredo and added chicken to it – he gobbled that up. My older son had the small pizza with mushrooms and he liked that quite a bit as well. The waitress was alright — a little slow considering we were only one of her two tables at the time, but she was nice. Overall, I would come here again. I would choose the Bedford location first, but I would come back nonetheless… as long as it’s not 86 degrees again. ;-)

Excellent food and service. The Sicilian salad was delicious, as well as the pasta treat and the Stromboli. Drinks were included in the meal. I have pictures but don’t know where to post them. They have three locations, the one on Rufe Snow is the one we went to and it is very uniquely designed. They also take reservations which is a big help.

I DONOT recommend I give this place 2 stars for the food big fat ZERO for the service! The hostess was not friendly the services was so poor! I don’t care how good the is, if the service is terrible it spoils it! We was set at a table that had no settings, no plates no spoons or forks! Took them forever to bring our drinks and never refill any of our drinks! When the food came we still didn’t have settings! Our bread never came, had ask for it, even my salad came with no dressing! When we finished our plates were never cleared, messy table! The sad thing it that they only had 4 tables no excuse for such poor service! Very disappointed. The food tasted good but we will not return! We still tip 30%, the bus boy did more for us than our server did, should him tip the bus boy instead! PATHETIC

I am a big proponent of supporting local business but I am finding that hard to do with Café Sicilia. The food is decent but the service is awful. I placed my order for delivery. An hour and 20 minutes later I called to see where my food was because it had not arrived. I was left on hold for 15 minutes without anyone coming back. I hung up and called back only to find they took the phone off the hook. Another 30 minutes later my food showed up(2 hours and 5 min after ordering), and it was cold. That tells me they forgot to deliver it and wouldn’t even come to the phone to tell me. Good luck if you order from this location. It is truly a crap shoot.

I already reviewed this hole once. Swore I’d never order again. But of course my girlfriend talks me into giving it another shot. Told her I was game but she had to call and do everything because I had washed my hands of this place. Surprise surprise… everything shows up correctly except my sub. The super sub, which was specifically asked to be made hot, showed up ice cold. The cheese was still in perfect slices. Not even slightly heated. Probably never even saw 10 seconds anywhere near a heart lamp. Wouldn’t be so bad if their bread, unheated, didn’t have the consistency and texture of a dish sponge. Thanks again café sicilian Shame on me I guess. Servers me right for going against my better judgement. Never again. 0 stars
