The one prior post, two years ago, shows how many people use DC Appliance Service. Be like the many and choose any other appliance repair. David came out to check three appliance: dishwasher, washer, and dryer. When he came out he first looked at the dishwasher, and as I was going to show him what the dishwasher would do when trying to run a cycle, it actually worked correctly. I then thought about what what could have caused it to start working when it wasn’t working previously and it sounded as if it was trying to drain and it wouldn’t. was a result of a clogged drain that I had used Drano on earlier that morning, which resulted in now the dishwasher being able to drain, and work perfectly fine. David mentioned that it seemed I had diagnosed the problem myself and everything was working fine. He did not have to do anything to the dishwasher, nor inspect anything further. Yet, he STILL charged me 20 dollars… to do nothing. Next, he looked at the washer and the dryer. After taking apart the washer, he advised me where the leak was coming from and that he would try to hunt down the part for it. Now onto the dryer. The dryer was shutting off early before the clothes would dry. So, after David spending an hour banging on the dryer, he let me know that he was all finished and couldn’t figure out the problem exactly, however he dusted a very little bit of lint off of the thermometer, which may have been shutting it off early. Otherwise, he had not a clue of what else it could be. So after this whole trip, I was out of 113 dollars for diagnosing and fixing one appliance myself, being told what the problem was for the washer, and then the dryer still not even working correctly after he left. As I powered the dryer one after he had left, it still had the same problem. So, I look around myself and find the area behind the lint screen is completely still crowded with lint. Why could he not notice this himself? So, then I investigate the metal vent from the back and take it all apart. and low and behold… there is lint completely blocking the inside of the vent. It seems logical that a person who has their own Appliance Service would know to check these areas as well and clean them. I ended up filling a Walmart plastic bag with lint from the vent. Needless to say, the dryer worked perfectly after this. So, overall David seems to have no knowledge of appliance service and charges for services that he does nothing to complete! If I could give 0 Stars I would…

Évaluation du lieu : 5 Mesquite, TX
When David came out to my place of business to diagnose the problem with our fridge I was very impressed with his knowledge and honesty. He advised us to buy a new fridge instead of paying nearly the same amount of money to fix our 10 year old one. So when my dryer at home stopped heating I knew that he was the only one I would trust to come and diagnose it. He came to our home in Mesquite(quite a drive from Wautauga!) and checked it out and told me that we needed a new heater. He had to order the part and he came back on Saturday(convenient for us!) to put the new part in. Now it works better than it did brand new… it never seemed to heat very well for all of the time that we had it. I’m very pleased and would recommend DC Appliance Service to anyone! He knows what he’s doing and he won’t rip you off. Give David a call!
