Came in for the first time because we were starving. Have never tried Arbys before. Have to say the potato cakes(aka hash browns) were good and ;) sigo enjoyed his beef and cheddar. Service was prompt and courteous. Food came out hot. Bathrooms were clean. Would return.

Ghetto workers… ghetto service… Couldn’t even get my order right, TWICE! I asked for a 2 plain Swiss and Turkey sandwiches at the drive-thru…I only got 1 sandwich with just turkey… pulled over to order another inside and I wasn’t even acknowledged when I walked in… I ordered a second swiss n turkey sandwich… and what did I get? BOOM, a sandwich with just turkey! Should I have ordered a third time?

This Arby’s is located in the Blue Star Plaza on 22. This place is totally a crap shoot. Some days, the food is terrific, other days, it can be cold, or you have to wait 15 minutes for it, or your order is incorrect. I have a weakness for the Roast Beef n Cheddar — its one of my favorite Arby’s sandwiches. Its risky to get one here, 50% of the time it hasn’t been up to snuff. The staff has always been very nice. I’ve only been inside once, as I usually use the drive-thru. Inside was clean and fairly modern.

How do these places stay in business. Brown edged lettuce, pink tomatoes, dried edged cheese, cheap supermarket turkey slices, thrown together in the center of the bread with no filling on the ends. Scant dressing, one piece of bacon, tiny piece of onion. Around 6 bucks!

You have to in the mood for Arby’s, you cant eat there every week and still have hope in your life. The positives: fresh food cooked to order, curly fries are always on point and you can drown your food in a lot of great sauces. The negatives: they could put more meat on their sandwiches(not as bad as Subway) but still not what you see on their commercials… a little embellishment there, borders false advertising… which brings me to their Ads. GOODMOODFOOD! which made me not want to go there, and WEHAVETHEMEATS!!! which is kinda obvious for a roast beef sandwich place. I figured WEALMOSTCLOSED! would of been more understandable. In a nut shell decent food at a decent price… fries I think are the best part if that tells you anything.

Quite literally, I have not stepped foot in an Arby’s in over fifteen years. The last time I was near one was in Manhattan in the West Village, and that one has been gone for a really long time now. When I came across this standalone Arby’s in New Jersey I had to go check it out. The first thing I have to remark on is how really super well maintained this branch is. The outside looks newly renovated and the interior looks modern, brightly lit and comfortable. The manager assured me there hadn’t been a renovation done in at least a decade. If so, that’s extraordinary and they keep this branch really clean and well put together. I ordered their new«Hawaiian bun» roast beef sandwich with swiss cheese. The meal came with an order of small curly fries and I threw in onion rings for good measure(my girlfriend and I shared the meal). You get your own soda from the fountain drinks area(which also includes iced tea). In front of the line/cashier area are dispensers for sauces including ketchup, Arby’s signature bbq sauce, horseradish sauce and a «three pepper» sauce. My favorites are the three pepper(spicy, but not overwhelming) and the horseradish(sweet with bite). The sandwich was great, with tender meat, good flavor and the Hawaiian bun was reminiscent of a potato bun. The onion rings were tasty and came in sizes from a giant one to smaller ones. The curly fries were super tasty too. Service was friendly and fast. Indeed, as you exit there’s a bell you can ring if you liked the service. I made sure to do so!
